New York City prepares myriad services for illegal immigrant children
Coming soon to a city near you:
The city Department of Education has told principals it plans this year to enroll 2,350 migrant children from Central America who crossed into the United States unaccompanied ”” with many more to come.
“It is expected that children will continue to arrive in large numbers in the coming years,” says a DOE memo to principals obtained by The Post.
The notice comes as the city rolls out a $50 million red carpet for 1,662 minors who crossed the border this summer to escape violence and gangs in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
In the “surge,” 5,000 of the 63,000 migrant kids caught trying to cross US borders ”” or who turned themselves in for refuge ”” have been released to relatives or other “sponsors” in New York state. Most live with other illegal immigrants.
Now, that’s what New York needs. That’s what we all need.
And the new arrivals will get what they need:
But the costs could soar, because the youths ”” many of them victims of poverty and abuse ”” will need state-mandated English-language instruction, free or reduced-price lunch, and a range of other services, including psychological counseling, medical and dental.
Second and third-world national leaders are salivating to enjoy amnesty without accountability.
Americans are salivating(?) that the consequences of planned parenthood will remain private and invisible.
It’s all about income redistribution. Money is taken from the haves and given to the have nots. Will NYC be raising taxes to cover the costs of the various programs? It’s for the children.
Governors and attorney generals need to sue DC to recover the costs of the messiah’s decision to open the border and encourage this influx of illegal aliens.
So what if it will cost more? Once you can print money out of thin air, the skies the limit! To infinity and beyond!
And, when it all collapses, as what goes up must come down, there’s always martial law to ‘restore’ order.
Democrats believe that spending other peoples money to do good is an act of charity. Doing good at somebody else’s expense demonstrates their moral superiority.
If only they were as avid about the well being of work a day Americans, who always seem to be consigned to the back of the bus, and left holding the bag.
