Obama and the Democratic candidates: with a friend like this… — 20 Comments

  1. The first. “He doesn’t realize how toxic he’s become.” He’s in his own world, surrounded by sycophant toadies.

  2. How about all of the above? As for losing the Senate, it’s collateral damage on his way to a permanent voting majority with 34 MILLION new Permanent Residency Cards (PRC) and with the collaboration of the GOP, the establishment of the foundations for a permanent one-party State. His Marxist legacy secured for all time and $200k speeches (If Hillary gets that much…) to look forward to in 2016.

  3. Thats ok.. he is going to import 100,000 haitians as a way to even things out, even if they dont have visas… not to mention amnesty, and required mandated service to the state for a couple of years of life… wheee…

  4. Geoffrey Britain:

I believe you are right that Obama is planning a dramatic unilateral action on amnesty that would be very likely to create that permanent majority.

I also have believed for some time (wrote about it in a post a while ago, but don’t have time to find it now) that with a Republican majority in the Senate, and some Democrats, that might be something that would cause impeachment and even perhaps conviction.

How likely do I think the Republicans would have the cojones and enough Democrats the integrity? Let’s just say I don’t think it’s likely. But I do think it’s possible. It also depends on the attitude of the American people, and what they demand from their representatives.

I’m not optimistic. But maybe…maybe…[small voice trails off…]

  5. It’s like Ace of Spades pointed out, it’s all about making sure the base knows they need to go out and vote for these Dems.

  6. “He doesn’t realize how toxic he’s become.”

Every add against democrats here is tying them to Obama. Even one for a guy who was the mayor of 60k town, which makes zero sense. But still!

  7. He’s trying to turn out his base. His remarks transform every Republican attack on their Senatorial opponents as a (racist) attack on him.

  8. Yeah, I agree he’s trying to turn out his base by making this distancing a result of Republican racism — he was talking to Al Sharpton, after all.

  9. Neo and Geoffrey, President Ebola might well have his “is Paris burning?” moment too.

There is the most stunning rainbow I have ever seen out the window right now. Maybe that is a sign.

  10. neo,

That’s pretty much my take on it too.

Recently, I came across a particularly perceptive question, especially as in regards to an executive amnesty; at what point does tolerance end because tyranny cannot be tolerated any longer? Too soon and it lacks the necessary support, too late and it has become futile to resist.

I think I may have the answer; when the Constitution is formally ‘amended’ to revoke our rights. For at that point, the government has formally declared itself to be an unequivocal enemy of liberty.

The writer made a particularly astute observation; the Bill of Rights are NOT granted by our government, they are formal reminders to our government of the rights we retain, regardless of any form of governance or of none at all. They are of course not all of our rights, just the most germane to the retention of liberty. They are another self-evident truth, that without liberty there can be no “consent of the governed”.

  11. “These folks are the Koolaid consuming Lib-Lefty Robots who goose step supported my shipwrecks of Obamacare, Carbon Taxing, Oil Commerce Vetoing, RETREATING from the Victory we inherited from George W. Bush in Iraq, broadcasting scrawny weakness and non-determination and countless other idiocies of mine. These enthusiastic choir girls of mine fully deserve ALL that’s coming to’um in early November,’Yo!!”

  12. Geo Brittain,

We, the citizens of the United States, are the sovereign of this nation. We, through our representatives in 1787, drafted and adopted that Constitution as our directions on the formation and limited powers of a federal government. Further, we, as sovereigns, reserve our right to apply force upon those who would usurp our status. And finally, the members of our Military pledge their lives and sacred honor to upholding that Constitution, not to upholding a regime.

We, the citizens, may well be called upon soon to take action. I believe we will be joined by our men and women in arms.

  13. Barry can see that GOP control of both chambers will permit him to (perpetually) run against Congress.

Barry could let his inner demagogue burst forth.

As for his agenda: Democrat operatives across the civil service will carry it forward.

He’s not dependent upon Congress for any enabling legislation.

Check out his stylings with the mullahs. He’s drafting a treaty that’s not a treaty… for the Senate would surely shoot holes in it if they pulled back the covers.

  14. neo posed the questions, “What’s going on here? Does Obama want those Democrats to lose? There are two possibilities.”

M J R blurted out, at 3:10 pm — “The first. ‘He doesn’t realize how toxic he’s become.’

Wellll, while returning from errands, I was listening to Roger Hedgecock on my AM radio, and Roger made a very strong case for neo’s second possibility:

“The second is that he doesn’t care if these people win or not, and that he’s sticking it to them in his narcissistic rage at their desertion. His message is that, if they think they can run away from him, they’ve got another think coming.”

Okay, got it. So it becomes a question of X percent the first and (100-X) percent the second, where X is a bit lower than I’d imagined, after listening to Roger Hedgecock.

So it looks like I’m with Geoffrey Britain (which is a very good place to be), 3:25 pm — “How about all of the above?”

Geoffrey Britain certainly nails it: “As for losing the Senate, it’s collateral damage on his way to a permanent voting majority with 34 MILLION new Permanent Residency Cards (PRC) and with the collaboration of the GOP, the establishment of the foundations for a permanent one-party State.” BINGO.

  15. ” The first is that he doesn’t realize how toxic he’s become.”

    That one.

He truly believes decent Americans are evil people out to get him and that he is right about everything. He’s a major narcissist.

  16. There’s a fourth option, though I don’t subscribe to it because it’s kooky:
Obama hates ALL OF AMERICA, including the Democrats. This would be the view of a foreign agent.
A foreign agent couldn’t take the chance that the Democratic party would be effective. I note also our own willingness to believe in our side’s superiority, because it flatters our egos.

A foreign agent wouldn’t see things that way. A foreign agent would want both parties destroyed.

  17. Marx wrote a poem Oulanem which is a twisted satanic anagram of Emanuel. In it he says he will descend into hell screaming curses onto mankind and taking us with him. THIS is our Malignant Narcissist President IN YOUR FACE doing the same Narcissistic wounded F$&K You to us all.

  18. ‘You know what, you do what you need to do to win. I will be responsible for making sure our voters turn out.’

Please don’t neglect the second part of that statement — and please note that, in talking to embattled Democrats, he says he will make sure “our voters turn out”. (Hmm. Isn’t he the one who said that there is no blue America and red America? How times have changed.)

I suspect he is again delusional about how much people actually listen to him… and that voter turnout in 2014 will disappoint him. Time will tell.

Please also remember that he is lazy and far, far less competent than he claims to be… and that he wins by cheating.
