Mandy Nagy of Legal Insurrection…
…has been taken very very ill. If you’re the praying type, please pray for her safe recovery.
Mandy (aka Liberty Chick) has been a very important part of the Legal Insurrection blog. I post there quite often, and although I’ve never met Mandy I’ve corresponded with her often and with pleasure, and of course have read many of her posts.
You can read a great deal more about Mandy and her many impressive accomplishments here and here.
It is also against international law to strip an individual’s citizenship if they are not also a citizen of another country.
why not… mugabe is doing it to whites, who he says shouold go back to england… (and the message board asking if he would take blacks back and have it a fair trade)
there has been lots of precident as to people with no nation
“The Man Without a Country” is a short story by American writer Edward Everett Hale, first published in The Atlantic in December 1863.[1] It is the story of American Army lieutenant Philip Nolan, who renounces his country during a trial for treason and is consequently sentenced to spend the rest of his days at sea without so much as a word of news about the United States. Though the story is set in the early 19th century, it is an allegory about the upheaval of the American Civil War and was meant to promote the Union cause.
“I wanted all things
To seem to make some sense,
So we could all be happy, yes,
Instead of tense.
And I made up lies
So that they all fit nice,
And I made this sad world
A par-a-dise.”
― Kurt Vonnegut, A Man Without a Country

The above comment of yours seems to have been placed in the wrong thread.
There are several types of strokes. Mandy would appear to have had an intracerebral hemorrhage, the worst kind of stroke.
I checked out other sites carrying her story & she was speaking with her mom prior to surgery & all went well in
surgery, which is a blessing. The notion that *stroke* only effects older people is mis info, it happens to all age groups for various reasons. Our family had a brush with this 7 yrs ago when 3 months after my daughter gave birth she experienced a TIA, (transient stroke symptoms) talking gibberish, headache, increasing difficulty trying to speak !!! Off to the ER, luckily her symptoms were beginning to resolve, she happened to be a daily user of Fish Oil capsules, something I had her do because she hates fish & being medical I know how beneficial it is.
Upshot was that she has hashimoto’s (a low thyroid condition) & her *blood lipid profile* was a disaster
for a young woman & contributed to the *hyper clotting milieu* her body was in. Any way she needed
heparin & coumadin (blood thinners) was enjoined from eating anything with Vitamin K, ( it factors in clotting) & continues life with a daily Aspirin, fish oil ,
daily consumption of green tea, (tea drinkers have a
considerable reduction in stroke risk) & a Rx Statin !
There were lots of prayers traveling heaven ward during that family crisis but she has had no residual
deficits from her episode, but when you think what could have been, it is chilling. Most nursing home residents are there due to stroke, & though you can rehab (to a degree) with a stroke the brain cells
deprived of oxygen actually die & do not resume their function, neighboring cells may or may not be able to fill the gap. Many Prayers for you Mandy !
Prayers for your Mom too, I know how desperate she feels.
Bless Her Heart, Head and Recovery. That ‘Kid’ is a Winner!!! In our prayers, Neo.
