Yes, it’s that time again
[BUMPED UP—last time for this go-round.]
Time passes so quickly when we’re enjoying ourselves, doesn’t it?
But it’s been a while since I asked you to donate to a semi-worthy cause: this blog. And so I’m going to ask you again to use the “donate” button on the right sidebar beside the photo of the hat, and give whatever you see fit.
Every single donation— large or small—adds up, and helps me a great deal in continuing the blog. If each and every reader gave even a few dollars, it would be a glorious thing. But whether you decide to donate or not, please keep visiting and keep commenting. I appreciate all of you. Comments and readers are a very big part of what makes this blog work.
I thank you all in advance. I’ll probably repeat this notice every now and then for the next week, the equivalent of jiggling that cup/hat.
Glad you posted this again. Happy to donate and grateful for the blog — all the more so in these terrible times.
I give you credit for being able to focus on all these upsetting things and then writing lucidly about them. Due to the nature of my job and demands of life, I am not able to give everything the thorough read it deserves, but you are the first place I check in, when I can. It lifts me up just to know that there are indeed thinking people out there being a voice. And I love your non-political posts too!
Done. Money is ammo.
I greatly admire your devoted work on our behalf. Thanks.
And here’s a song to smile to:

😉
I should say, that song isn’t aimed at anyone in particular….
Beverly,
Little Feat, in the time of Lowell George, were the ultimate band on the scene. Many of us may be over the hill but we can still boogie. 😉
Thanks for the reminder!
Neo is always humble in her appeals, so I will advocate for her. For years I have been digging deeper for her than I do for anyone else. I give $250 or $125. My reasons:
With flawless arguments, she pushes in the right direction we need to go, as a country, to defend against threats both internal and external. Her research is deep and immediate; her articulation is precise and so well expressed that it is a pleasure to read despite the disheartening content.
She is a good person. That is shown in her lighter posts as well as the humbleness of her appeals. She never seems spiteful, which I think helps her credibility.
I hope that, with more support, she can reach an ever widening audience that will push her arguments along.
Alan F.:
Thank you once again.
