Catch the waves
If you want to see some astoundingly beautiful photos of waves, please go to this site (the photos seem to be protected from copying, so I wasn’t able to put a sample here).
[ADDENDUM: A very helpful friend, far more computer-savvy than I, has remedied the difficulty. So here’s one:
Gorgeous pictures – thanks for the link. I will go back and take a longer look later.
Wow, I thought at first that the photo you posted was a Japanese print. The color and form are amazing – somewhat reminiscent of Hokusai’s Great Wave. Thanks for including beauty in your daily blog – we need that!
I read an article about Mr. Little in a recent Hana Hou magazine. I’m totally amazed that he can stand up in 8 ft. surf and get pounded while still mantaining control of his camera.
Hats off to Mr. Little! (Literally!)
If you press `print screen’ (one of the 3 keys on the top right of most kybds), you can then copy it into image software, then save it as a jpeg or whatever – that also copies the `Clark’ watermark, though…
Spectacular!! Creative and literally awesome!
Special thanks, neo- Must look for info on the photographer.
The inherent clarity of the water, the magnificent sky color, and the transvection of light and color through the various wave formations is fascinating (as are the photos of almost pure foam crests, i.e. “Alma.”)
Great share!
Anyone interested, found a YouTube of Clark Little discussing & showing how he takes the pics:
