Did Hulu clear this with SNL? They’ll slap you with a copyright violation cause their profits are getting “pirated”, you know.
To be held up by one’s supporters as an object of ridicule; “the most unkindest cut of all”.
Surely the IRS will shortly be sending the SNL producers, directors and actor/comedians notices that they are being audited. No doubt a visit from OSHA will be forthcoming as well.
This is mild. But the fact that they’re doing it at all is new, and maybe significant.

Yes, but to me, the mere fact that He did such a classless thing at a solemn occasion memorializing one of His heroes, suggests to me that the skit was at least indirectly a criticism of Him.

In Black culture (New Orleans, the Sahel and South Africa) funerals are happy celebrations. Somberness is strictly a European schtick.
If one pointed the cameras onto the public… all that you’d see would be one big party.
So you’ll notice that Barry was hardly alone in his light spirits.
Further, by African custom, anyone that leaves their mortal coil at the ripe old age of 95 is a very lucky guy — and favored by the Almighty.
Lastly, it was the DANE that took the selfie… meaning that it wasn’t really a selfie for Barry.
In fact, it’s such a light-weigh affair that SNL felt free to harpoon it. They have yet to touch meatier matters.

Okay, so in which of those cultures was Obama raised? I never consider Indonesia nor preppy school in Hawaii “black.” But, I might be wrong.
Further, Obama represents America – not himself. Interestingly, I didn’t see Bush nor Carter partaking of taking selfies? I didn’t see the current President of South Africa doing so.
And, taking a selfie is hardly celebrating the life of the deceased. It is more of a narcisistic nature than it is of honoring the deceased.
As for your comment that “Somberness is strictly a European schtick.” Wow, that is just so wrong. While there are cultures that celebrate at a funeral, somberness at a funeral is not limited to Europeans.
Lastly, I guess with the joker flapping his arms about we can be grateful that at least they didn’t hire Chevy Chase and Garrett Morris to do the “help for the hard of hearing.”
MJR, a lot of this reminds me of the cult of personality concerning crims and Putin. They are considered sex magnets.
