Obamacare girl has disappeared… — 10 Comments

  1. Is plastic facial surgery covered under the ACA? Then again, she might be Canadian. I wonder if it is covered under their communized medical, with a note from Zero? Then again, for her own protection, perhaps one of the other huge rich government entities will grant mercy and a hundred k?

  2. If I were the face of Obamacare, I’d go into hiding too!
For a young-ish person, I think it shows some good judgement on her part to disassociate herself from this fiasco so early.
OTOH, maybe it was on advice from her agent.

  3. If she’s smart, she’s meeting with an agent right now who can get her on Leno and take advantage of her 15 minutes of fame.

If Breitbart were still alive, he’d track her down and find out if HER insurance has been canceled and how much more money SHE’LL be paying under Obamacare.

I think it’s quite possible, btw, that she signed a general release and posed at a DHS-contracted photoshoot having no idea that the pix would be used to promote Obamacare, let alone that she would be the first thing people using the exchange website would see. She could be a Republican for all anyone knows. If she does come out of the shadows and has anything bad to say about Obamacare, that will be the proverbial cherry on top of this p.r.-disaster sundae.

  4. The Daily Show “new face of Obamacare” was great. I don’t wish to spoil it. I was on Monday night Oct 28.

  5. Lefties like to “put a face” to those whose “voices should be heard”, so they can “tell their stories” with more emotional impact.

Unfortunately for them, the rest of us are getting to the point where all that seeing their faces means, is we can now see exactly who it is that is trying to place a saddle on our backs.

And many of us have learned – thanks in part to watching lefties operate – how to look that lefty face right in the eye and tell it how it stands in terms of a moral relation to those whose lives it is attempting to legally expropriate.

The group of Obama Care beneficiaries the Huff Po trotted out recently as paradigm cases, seemed (or their sympathizers did) surprised at some of the personal invective that was directed their way in the comment section of the “article”.

Strange that disciples and clients of those constitutional subversives who proclaimed that “the personal is the political” should be surprised when they merely reap back some of the seeds of uninhibited expression they have previously sown.

I guess they figured conservatives were congenitally polite.

  6. How badly would it suck to be a working model … usually for just stock photos that go out into the ether and get used by random companies for unknown marketing campaigns.

And then your stock photo gets picked up for this crap.

I am mean that would effectively end your career right there. What bubble-gum company wants their next marketing campaign associated with ObamaCare?

    I feel sorry for her.
