People are deciding…
… George Orwell’s “1984” is enjoying a surge in popularity, landing at No. 4 on Amazon’s list of “Movers and Shakers.” Sales of Orwell’s classic have risen an astonishing 5,771% as of Tuesday morning, with a current sales rank of 213, up from 12,507 just a few days ago. A different edition of the novel has even made it onto Amazon’s top 100 bestsellers list.
Can’t imagine why.
aint my fault…
o tried, but too little too late, i the recipe…
dont forget to stir briskly
It’s an established fact that most people read 1984 for the sex while the rest read it for the early history of the Apple Macintosh.

I just received my new copy of 1984 yesterday from Amazon, and I read it cover to cover last night. I especially liked how Winston and Julia see the errors of their ways and voluntarily join O’Brien as Warriors for the Party.
The new introduction to the novel by Barack Obama and John McCain was also a welcome addition.
The heirs of Orwell, Rand and Hayek owe a big debt to Obama. As do the shareholders of Colt, Smith & Wesson, and Glock.
