The inevitable rise of the Tsarnaev truthers
It was a foregone conclusion that almost as soon as the bombing occurred and evidence began to churn out—and especially after the photos of the young and somewhat telegenic Dzhohkar were flashed around—a certain segment of people would begin (along with the Tsarnaev brothers’ parents, who at least have the excuse of being their parents) proclaiming the brothers’ innocence.
Sure! The Tsarnaevs were framed. Patsies! And all those people in the crowd with all those photos were part of the plot. As for the cop killing and the final shootout and all that—well, after all, wouldn’t anybody act that way?
All we lack to complete the picture is for a Jack Ruby to step forward and shoot Dzhokhar in his hospital bed, inciting spinoff conspiracy theories.
I predict that there will soon be a market for T-shirts with Dzhohkar’s picture on them a la Che, if it’s not already happening.
Oh. I see that it’s already happening.
So far, my favorite pushback on this kind of thing is that #apoemfordzhokhar aggregation by “Jim Treacher” at the Daily Caller…
I think we underestimate the amount of sheer mental illness and serious neurosis at work in our society (i.e., among those with whom we are forced or habituated to associate with at some level) , and manifesting itself as “politics”.
For generations, the sovereignty of the family and our country have been degraded. For example, the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance adopted by UNESCO in 1995 affirms that “education for tolerance could aim at countering factors that lead to fear and exculsion of others, and could help young people to develop capacities for independent judgement, critical thinking and ethical reasoning.”
To wit: Obama, mmmm, mmmm, MMMMMM!
which leads to “Dzhohkar Tsarnaev is innocent.”
Let the t-shirts read “Obama is guilty!”
Here’s an unanswered question that’s sparking conspiracy theories:

Surely there’s a reasonable explanation, but some people will never believe it.
I have a slightly different take: the conspiracist “truthers” do not trust the govt, any govt, even the one they elected.
If we could harness the energy of these anarchists (which we cannot, in no small part because they are looney), we maybe could get somewhere.
But still, any pinworm in the seat of Obama’s and Holder’s pants has perhaps some redeeming value.
The Tsarnaevs were framed.
Who would do such a thing? Perhaps, ah, rootless cosmopolitans? Stay tuned.
I’ll admit initial skepticism that we’d “caught the right people,” especially given the current DOJ’s total and base incompetence on display for years now.
I personally don’t want to jump to immediate conclusions of guilt or innocence when I’m so far removed. (I’m in Phoenix, not in law enforcement, and do online retail for a living, so I claim NO authority in the matter whatsoever) However, I was reassured that, even if the two boys wind up being proven innocent (which is looking more and more unlikely as more evidence comes out), they were Muslim. Not because I automatically assume “Muslim == Terrorist,” but because the current administration’s obsession with not even implying that Islam might be in some way related to any case that happens to be downwind of terrorism meant that there’s no way in hell any conspiracy from on-high would point the finger at these two. Hell, I’m more likely to be fingered as a suspect under the current administration’s policies than even the most rabidly, mouth-foamingly anti-American fundamentalist Muslim, and I’m on the other side of the continent!
I saw somewhere that the mother says Tamarlane is still alive. This is one serious nut case, but she will probably become a heroine to the conspiracy idiots.
Off topic request. I need 100 signatures for my petition to be searchable, and therefore effectively embarrassing, for the White House.
Can you assist?

Yes, the crime was committed by “men of no description”.
I would offer that skepticism in a world gone mad on narratives is a sure sign of sanity. This is so even more so when it comes to official government findings and reports. Once you have reported the Nidal Malik Hasan incident was just workplace violence you have opened Pandora’s eyes. I don’t believe in conspiracies but neither do I believe them improbable.
Just as there are those with physical disabilities, there are millions with mental and emotional disabilities. That it may not be evident through casual association changes that reality not at all.
I imagine that the percentage of psychological disabilities is greater today than in previous generations. The secular relativism of the left leaves people with little to ground their lives with, they lack a moral compass and this has resulted in a large segment of society that is nihilistic, cynical and alienated.
Here are photos of the two innocent patsies, shooting at and throwing bombs at the police.

It is interesting to note that the police APB was to be on the lookout for the green Honda. Perp #2 very clearly took off in the Mercedes SUV, while a police bomb detecting robot searches the abandoned green Honda.
” … education for tolerance could aim at countering factors that lead to fear and exculsion of others …”
As if we needed this very important point emphasized in a way that ensured no one could ignore it, we also get The One coming along and intoning that “mere tolerance” is not enough.
Well, we probably do need to be reminded of it … just as often as they try to stake the claim that it isn’t.
No. From their perspective [sorry you Libertarian fantasists who imagine that the left can be socially bargained into being respecters of boundaries] tolerance is not a protocol, but rather the first small step on what is taken to be in principle a never ending progression toward the ever more perfect union: the realization of social justice; as the remediation of the unequal burdens of nature, by spreading the unearned “gifts” of nature or of personal physical and mental advantages more in accordance with socially evolving – read, sensitive and imaginative and inclusive – standards of fairness.
On this view then, tolerance is never enough. Formal and grudging acquiescence is never enough. Exclusion of any kind, works to further private interests. The legal protection of private interests is privilege. It is the privileging of the self when we allow a withholding of your affirmations when they are desired by others. By allowing your refusal to render service to the wants of the more sensitive or suffering, (and they are the judges of what their needs are) injustice is perpetuated. Freedom is privilege. Ownership is privilege. The self is privilege. Privilege is unequal. Unequal is unjust.
How then, can mere tolerance ever be enough? Only with the breakdown of all boundaries and definitions, will equal truly become equal. May that day soon come, so help us Bill Ayers. In the name of The One, Amen
And uninhibited, and demanding of others.
Somewhat off topic, but I saw a great comment by “cfbleachers” at PJM:
” … a world gone mad on narratives … Once you have reported the Nidal Malik Hasan incident was just workplace violence …”
As the highlighted above reminds us, and as has been pointed out by many before me, perhaps yourself – occasionally a conspiracy, or what effectively passes for one, is real enough.
” … one JournoList contributor, Spencer Ackerman of The Washington Independent, stated “If the right forces us all to either defend Wright or tear him down, no matter what we choose, we lose the game they’ve put upon us. Instead, take one of them – Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists”. Wiki

Talking about conspiracy theories, I can think of several to account for this arc of this particular story.
Thats ok
Now they r trying tl convince everyone that when a priest rapes achild the whole relivion is toblame.n when its islam, only the specific person is to blame
This contrasts w social justice
When a polar bear gets beaten its the pllar bears fault
If ghe defend ghemselves then its all polar bears at fault
Parbears who hate polarbears get a reprieve
Exceot in an incixdnt ascreds r not checked
rickl,
hey, blow if you can get it.
The story gained a curious twist when, after it gained more traction, President & Chief Content Officer for TheBlaze Joel Cheatwood received word from one of his investigative reporters that “there is now discussion that they may not allow this man to be deported.”
Funny news was to watch the plliticians ready toblame n seek stuff for fbi missing trip to russis when big sis said they knewby other rexundacies… spedxhlesss was worth seeing
Perfect t-shirt:
The Obama “Joker” face and the words “It’s his fault.”
George: I saw the naked man video the night it occurred. Subsequently, somewhere I read (don’t have time to find it now) that he was someone who was apprehended in error, then released not long after.
Darth Tamerlan is certainly implicated WRT the death (by vengeance) of his dope wholesaling buddies. (Cannabis)
It doesn’t take Sherlock to figure out the crime:
1) Darth Tamerlan buys $ 5,000 in cannabis from an assured source. (His ‘buddy’ – ‘best American friend’ warranted the pot.)
2) The weed turns out to have the THC content of lawn grass — certainly below standard — could’ve been short weighted, too.
3) Darth Tamerlan comes back to ‘buy more’ — and liquidates the offenders with his fists. One punch is enough to knock out the players.
4) The reject weed is sprinkled over their corpses as a message to the trade.
5) The $5,000 buy price is left behind as a deeper message: “You can’t buy your way out of trouble when you screw with Darth Tamerlan.”
This last bit is, of course, taken directly from “Pulp Fiction” and Darth Tamerlan sees himself as fulfilling the role of Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson), the character that ‘comes to religion’ during the film.
Notably, Jules is constantly quoting from the Bible — Old Testament — wrath of God stuff.
You can believe that Darth Tamerlan was spouting off wrath of Mo’ as he beat the life out of his connections. His infidel ‘best American buddy’ was nothing more than a business connection for Tamerlan.
The fact that his namesake piled up the skulls back in the day is just icing on the graves.
Conan Doyle has to be spinning in his.
Geofrrey Britain: “The secular relativism of the left leaves people with little to ground their lives with, they lack a moral compass“.
Prime example is the wife of TT. Drops out of school, converts to Islam, accepts a beating (or two) like a good Islamist wife, pops out a baby (the fruit of a true love romance, I guess), works to support financially a bum – and she doesn’t see anything wrong with all that… Moreover, her parents were apparently proud of her “open-mindedness”.
I’m confused by today’s cultural obsession with zombies, but if there were zombies, they would look like the wife of TT.
neo…
He was fleeing the scene of a crime….
In his case, understandably so.
He was trying to get out of the line of fire.
At first, the BPD thought they had a real live one.
He even had a politically correct profile: the elusive White man.
The total stripping makes one think that the cops thought he was a doper or suicide candidate.
Near death experiences can make one e x t r e m e l y hyper — as in the body wants to exercise flight, fighting if it has to.
So you have a situation wherein everyone involved is overreacting.

Obama is responsible.

“I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.” –President Obama (See above line at 10:30)
Obama is reprehensible.
blert
………..
Whaat?
Gringo:
I think blert is a) joking, and b) preparing you for MSNBC spin.
I didn’t know Neo’s ‘leopard skin burka’ was a joke, either.

Actually, the picture of the wife shows her wearing a leopard skin scarf beneath the hijab (or whatever).
The Left does have a moral compass. It’s just has North and South pointing opposite directions. islam is good. Christians are evil. They wouldn’t fight so hard against Americans in the US if they didn’t think their cause was just. Whether they be Leftists or Islamic jihadists.
