I don’t know why, but this one really made me sad; to lose such a unique, passionate American voice. And he seemed like a nice guy too.

Levon’s accent reminds me of some family members at reunions in south alabama. The thing is, there’s something about that accent that doesn’t resonate if the person doesn’t have a kind heart to go with it. Levon had it.

See, I spend the weekend NOT following the news and this happens! So, Levon, Dick Clark and Jonathan Frid died recently. And for Levon, I’m going to put The Last Waltz on the DVD tonight.
