Another case of Romney dog abuse — 12 Comments

  1. Sorry but…. Jesus H. C####t this is going to be a long f##king election season. Oh the humanity. Who reports this crap (oh WP. of course) and even worse who’s decision is actually effected by this?

  2. That’s a great trick. Used to do it with my dogs and kid. Made sure they slept at night.

  3. vanderleun: yes, but as a result, you’ll never be elected president.

    More’s the pity.

  4. He took a ball away from a dog and threw it? Bastard!

At least if Obama threw a ball, the dog wouldn’t have to go far, given Obama’s girly throwing style.

Is the best the Reds have? Thirty years ago Romney threw a ball for a dog? Seriously?

  5. I don’t think the author of the article thought it was dog abuse; the story was told by a friend, to “humanize” Romney.

I was making a little joke.

  6. I wonder what the report would read like if the Romney’s had sent the dog to a kennel to be cooped up in a cage while they were vacationing. Tut, tut. That sounds more like abuse to me.

By this time next year, maybe they can fly their dogs around on big jet airplanes at taxpayer’s expense. Oh, wait, that is the other guy.

Spent last week with a cowboy type who insisted on his Corgi riding in the back of my pick-up, because he is teaching him to do so. Since we were in California, I half expected to get ticketed. But, far be it from me to argue with a 6’4′, 250lb, farm strong Norwegian. (Besides, speaking of Norwegians, we remember Anders Behring Breivik.) His pup can ride wherever he says. Actually, the pup seemed quite happy with whatever accommodations were offered, so long as he was included in the group.
I have developed an affection for Corgi’s. Too bad they are grossly over-priced, as are almost every pure bred.

I trust that Romney will survive doggie-gate.

  7. the story was told by a friend, to “humanize” Romney.

In the WaPo? Was it before or after the stories about him participating in human sacrifice?

  8. At least all this doggeh stuff has given me a few laughs, in what is otherwise a dreary electoral season.

  9. Macaca!
Guess we can expect a Romney dog story in the WP every few days from now ’till election day.
