Today is the day…
…when Easter candy is half price.
Just sayin. Of course, I wouldn’t ever go out and buy any.
No, I wouldn’t. Wouldn’t…shouldn’t…couldn’t…[trails off, staring into space]…

Obviously we’re all going to have to send her our leftovers.
DON’T, neo, DON’T!!
Restrict yourself to chocolate. It’s good for you.
Every YEAR you do this to me.
Mr. Frank: not for me it’s not.
So what are you partial to?
Me, I like the marshmallow chicks — but only after they’ve been opened a month or so and have gotten kinda chewy…
Is that so wrong??
Oh, and did mention I like to bite their little heads off first??

I’ll vote for Romney if that’s the only way to kick Obama out of the White House. But after I vote for him, whether he wins or loses the election, I sincerely hope that my conservative brethren will rise up against those Republican incumbents who put Romney in the driver’s seat. I’m dead serious: There should now be a major, major bloodletting in the GOP. These people should be severely punished for offering up a presidential candidate as trifling as Romney. I HATE this election cycle!!!
JELLYBEANS!!!!! (morphs into Homer Simpson mode). Droooooooolllllllllll.
Garney gurn, fnaggle fnoy fnaggle. Braik um. su!
rhnephalisheneisessnee goom prava.
Very very very OT . . .
I just saw “The Hunger Games,” which I thought was an excellent movie. I then read reviews on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes, and
NOT ONE SINGLE REVIEWER saw the parallels with today’s North Korea nor with the Soviet Union and Mao’s China.
“Those who do not remember the past are condemned . . . ” You know the rest.
On topic . . . there’s lot of good chocolate shown in the movie.
I got RIPPED OFF !!!!!!!
I bought the most delicious chocolate Easter bunny I’ve ever eaten: velvety and luscious, at Whole Foods in a darling little basket/box with jelly beans, cream-filled chocolate eggs, and a bow.
Small, cute, and perfect. The confectioner is Lake Champlain Chocolates.
😉
I’ve happily eaten Hershey’s, Russell Stover’s, etc., for years, but this chocolate is a whole ‘nother thing. Died-and-gone-to-heaven good.
I deprived myself of malted eggs. The kind that melt in the mouth and color the tongue bright pink and blue. I’ll soldier on, somehow.
Jewel, I thought nobody was going to even mention the malted milk eggs. I always loved those, but seems to me over time that the outer candy layer is getting thicker , thus leaving less malted 🙁 (Ew! have you ever gotten the dud ones where the inside is a dud malted –not a full malted center, but instead some chewy caramel-like stuff. Not fun.
Neo — Heard from a stray bunny that there is a small supply of Russel Stover jelly beans in your area….. surely they’ll be gone when that craving hits. (One might say that’s the point, HOWEVER, those lovely colors and soft tangy fruity pectin centers…..Yummmmm…… And surely you have a perfect little cannister to storem them in welll within eyesight — after all, so pretty to look at….
So tempting……
The jelly beans are fresh at this time of year.
goldby621: Canister? Store them? Whatever are you talking about?
Scored three cheap bags of Lindor truffles today, completely undoing my healthy start this morning. Only Lindor chocolate and the Cadbury mini-eggs tempt me after Easter.
