I felt led to re-read President Eisenhower’s Farewell Address. We can’t say we weren’t warned or given good advice from a man who led in a War that cost tens of millions of European lives and hundreds of thousands of American lives. I wish every Republican candidate for office since that time would have used that as a framework from which to operate.
