Talk about a motor mouth on this video! But my daughter, nearly 25 years ago, earned a Master’s degree in English Literature from a respected university, and found what this woman finds. They don’t study or teach literature any more, for the beauty of the writing or for the insights into human nature they examine. Literature classes simply use the writings as a springboard to talk about all of the latests “isms” the left is currently pursuing. The literature itself disappears.
Yes, she speaks very quickly, but her mind is agile and bursting with ideas. God love her, I agree with and recognize everything she says. Sadly, this cultural cancer has infiltrated the entire Humanities curriculum. It is not just literature. It’s an enormous loss. Students minds are being corrupted, and molded to ignore the beauty in our human arts, with everything cast through the prism of victimhood. It is a tragedy.
