VDH on how you can tell when “anti-Zionism” is Jew-hatred — 3 Comments

  1. Israeli Jews are accomplished and do not invest in the talking cure or apologize for much of anything. This enrages the sort of person whose work life is sucking at the higher education teat.

  2. VDH should write a text–or for the modern classroom film a video lecture–on the history of brutality from antiquity to the present; and it should be required study in secondary schools. If taught honestly, it would have to influence the perspective of any thinking student; and foster thankfulness for the society we enjoy. Subsequent lessons should address the principles and values upon which our society was built. Dare I say Judeo-Christian?

  3. Not a bad idea to study the history of the true nature of war and brutality.

If people had their faces rubbed in it, would probably tone things down. Maybe.

But would have to be honest. Do I need to say that pretending or hallucinating that one side is all sweetness and light and the other is a nest of vile fanatical treacherous vipers is usually not conducive to lasting peace or sane policy?

    Do I? 😀

Problem is the thing you imagine Ol’ VDH producing would be a BS rock-ribbed hagiography of the United States and the American Way of War.

There is middle way between Po-faced BS and Howard Zinn, but some people seem unable to handle even that much honesty.
