She got the long-lasting choice and is making the most of it.
That her rind and eyes are still sharp enough to conduct serious business is a blessing. Old age with a failing memory and/or eyesight is a curse.
Her words of wisdom are timeless, and she is “one tough cookie.” She has more good years to go.

Jon baker, I’ve known several Caribbean immigrants well; they come to our church because it’s similar to the Anglican churches in the islands, and they go to the ones offering traditional worship, not the progressive ones. On average, they’re very happy to be here and assimilate well. The same is true of African immigrants, for similar reasons.
