Is anyone else having trouble …
… with updating this blog on a cellphone? I have no trouble at all viewing it on my laptop. But for the last day or two my cellphone keeps showing versions from a couple of hours earlier, and I have to keep hitting “refresh” to get the latest posts and comments.
It may just be some sort of cache problem on my particular phone. But I’m wondering whether anyone else is experiencing something similar.

Yes, near constant difficulties in various manifestations for about the last week or so. Sometimes “Too many requests” return, more frequently not loading the up-to-date entry selected from “Recent comments” in the righthand sidebar. Reloading the incorrectly loaded page does the job.
Using a Samsung Galaxy 6 tablet with a Brave browser.
This has always happened to me on both cell and laptop, if I go “back” I get the last version that I saw and have to click on “update” to see if there are any new posts or comments. I comfort myself by thinking I probably don’t have it as bad as the troops storming the beaches at Normandy.

Is it just my site, or are other sites involved? On my laptop it never happens. On my cell, it happens with this site and quite a few others (Ace and Instapundit, for example).
Yes, unfortunately.
On my I-Phone, new comments are inconsistently displayed, the most recently displayed comments in the “latest comments” list are all too often not linked to successfully, and occasionally, sent comments “time out” and thus do not load successfully.
Frustrating, but the world still turns…

I checked my iPhone with Duck Duck Go. The open thread for today was still showing. I refreshed several times and then rebooted the phone. No update.
I switched to the desktop version and the new posts showed up. I went back to the mobile option and it went back to the open thread post. So, I am now on the desktop version.
This is the only site that I frequent that exhibits this symptom. It was very bad this morning. Not now.

Funny, today is the first day I noticed that your site seemed “stuck” and it took a force-reload of the page to see new posts/comments. I’m pretty certain this has something to do with cache settings somewhere, either your provider or server or Cloudflare or some such.
Happened on my firepad yesterday. I wouldn’t have even noticed if I hadn’t seen later stories already on my pc.

Mee too. For what it’s worth. Minipad and laptop load fine (also FWIW).
This has always happened for my specific browser, with this specific website, and I sometimes have to reload a couple of times to see the latest. I use a browser that isn’t Chrome but is Chrome-derived.
I almost never bother to use my phone for this website, so don’t know if a similar issue happens there.
Yes like others I have this problem with this site semi regularly. Just now I clicked on comments for this post and the only one I saw was the first by John Guilfoyle then when I refreshed they all appeared. Definitely happens more on my phone.
I checked my phone again, and it reverted back to the open thread post. There is an option to report a broken site. I’ll be happy to do it if you want me to. I have iphone with Duck Duck Go.
Your site comes up ok on my kindle fire and my laptop.
Checked with my phone, uses Safari, much worse problem than my computer.
