The FBI misled the public on the 2017 baseball practice shooting of Republican members of Congress — 12 Comments

  1. So I guess maybe the news is that it was a deliberate coverup rather than stupidity on the part of the FBI? I think we also knew that already.

Well, people on the left pretended not to know that perhaps. Now I guess it’s nice to be able to say conclusively that there was defintely a coverup. To be fair, I wasn’t even aware that the FBI was claiming that this was “suicide by cop” rather than domestic terrorism. Not that it surprises me in the slightest. I just continue to hope that all these Democrat Party opperatives that have been embedded in the FBI for years and years are purged like a high flow toilet being flushed.

  2. It’s been peddled as an article of faith for several years now that fhe primary domestic violence threat comes from conservatives. It was always self evident nonsense, but it was repeated endlessly, like the old canard that the electorate is ‘fiscally conservative but socially liberal’.

It’s ‘kayfabe’. They know it’s a lie. We know it’s a lie. They know we know it’s a lie. But like pro wrestling, they _will not_ admit it.

  3. James Hodgkinson tried to murder the Republicans because he was just acting on the usual anti-Republican propaganda of the democrat party. There is nothing complicated about it.

  4. Does it make much difference when the feds admit what everybody’s known for years?
About the only thing it’s useful for is telling the lefties that now we know they lied.

  5. @ Richard – the value is not so much in telling the professional lefties that now we know they lied, it’s in having evidence to show the amateur lefties so that now they know too.
If they are willing to admit it.

  6. Aesop
I’d edit that; now amateur lefties know we know they lied. Have always known. Nobody’s that stupid. The amateurs lied from the get-go.
Or do you want to go around saying “I’m innocent of lying because I have the brain of a cabbage.”?
“And I’ll believe them the next time, too!”

  7. Yep!
Another charismatic poster boy for the up-and-coming Democratic Party…

  8. the interesting story, of course, was who the shooter was in contact with, the staff of Turban Durbin and Miss Duckworth, who have been reticent to volunteer any info about his mindset,

  9. Whatever happened to:

    It’s not the crime; it’s the cover-up.

After Watergate I thought that was the rule. But I guess it depends on whether or not a Republican is involved.

We’ve seen a lot of coverups. Beaucoup.
