We’ve had a couple threads on MSgt Livelsberger’s suicide and Shrinks – and I’m not gonna blame the VA for the MSgt falling thru the cracks there. Rather amazing that he did tho…
He had visited the military Behavioral Health program multiple times in recent months and was diagnosed with depression last year. But he had not been assessed to be a risk to harm himself or others.
This was apparently before second wife leaving him_she also didn’t go to Germany with him, and recently had a baby. He’s a SF’s combat veteran with relationship issues, gaining weight, depressed, and visits the ‘Behavioral Health program multiple times in recent months’ and that didn’t ring a “risk” bell!?
Police released this last Friday, but I am just seeing it:
Military and vets move on DC starting now. Militias facilitate and augment this activity.
Occupy every major road along fed buildings and the campus of fed buildings by the hundreds of thousands.
Lock the highways around down with semis right after everybody gets in. Hold until the purge is complete.
Try peaceful means first, but be prepared to fight to get the Dems out of the fed government and military by any means necessary. They all must go and a hard reset must occur for our country to avoid collapse.
DEMs and their MSM puppets have been pushing people for a long long time_relentlessly for the past 8-10 years.

Probably Trump’s best move over the past 8 or 9 years has been landing Susie Wiles as his CoS.
Incoming White House chief of staff Susie Wiles tells Axios in an interview that she aims for the West Wing to be a no-drama zone for staff. If that works, it won’t be the chaotic den of self-sabotaging that stymied the early days of President-elect Trump’s first term.
• “I don’t welcome people who want to work solo or be a star,” Wiles, whose boss calls her the Ice Maiden, said by email. “My team and I will not tolerate backbiting, second-guessing inappropriately, or drama. These are counterproductive to the mission.”
I’ve been blowing ‘Her Horn’ for some time now, and recently noticed MTG in deep discussions on the phone with CoS Miles (during budget issues) AND again recently. Snippets:
• Trump’s 2024 campaign was more organized and less leaky than any previous Trump team.
• Wiles, 67, will become the first woman to be White House chief of staff — and the fifth person to serve Trump in that role. (ME: note FOUR CoS’s in his first term!?!)
• Wiles already is exercising power: During Friday’s chaotic reelection of House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), a photo from the House floor showed the iPhone screen of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), a Trump loyalist, on the line with “Susie Wiles.”
• She never tells others what she tells Trump. If she disagrees with him, it’s not done in front of anyone — and it doesn’t leak. She avoids the spotlight. To survive in the MAGA-verse, you have to always remember that Trump is the star around which others revolve.
Seems to stay outta sight whilst getting lots accomplished in the background…
Don’t you just love those headlines – Biden issues another executive order that will stop Trump from doing something. So, Trump can’t issue his own exo to rescind what Biden did? Biden’s are writ in stone, never to be undone? What tools.
Rufus:
Thanks for the tip!
Karmi,
I know almost nothing about Wiles. I just read this on her wikipedia entry (emphasis mine) (also, she’s the daughter of NFL player and announcer Pat Summerall?!) I wonder what happened regarding your governor, DeSantis to cause her to make such a statement?
During the 2018 Florida gubernatorial election, Wiles was reportedly deputized by Trump to help Republican Ron DeSantis’ campaign for governor. In his victory speech, DeSantis described Wiles as the “best in the business”. Wiles was set to help Trump’s 2020 campaign but according to the reporting from Politico, the tie to Wiles, who had “played a key role in… 2016”, was cut “at the urging of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis” to allow him “to install his own allies in the state party”, a move “widely seen as a setback to the president’s re-election campaign” in that battleground state. She described working for DeSantis as the “biggest mistake” of her entire career.”
thought crime is something they took as a how to manual
SHIREHOME – It comes down to the statue. Offshore permitting is Congress’s power to exericise, not the president’s. But Congress ceded their power to the President in a bill passed in the 50’s. And the bill has no mechanism for reversing a ban, only implementing one.
I think that Republicans are probably going to have to reverse this in their reconciliation bill, if they can. (Thanks to Chuck Schumer, we have a primer on the extreme limits of what can be stuffed into a reconciliation bill.) While they’re at it, they should claw back as much of their own authority as they can from the executive. The Antiquities Act would be a great place to start.
Trudeau’s out…but ONLY as leader of his party.
HOWEVER, he will REMAIN PRIME MINISTER until March 24—known as “proroguing Parliament”, apparently—during which time he can continue to wreak maximum damage upon “his” country…following the inspired sabotage perpetrated by his decrepit co-conspirator to the south and that devious, evil genius across the pond—not that Trudeau NEEDS any inspiration from either of those grotesqueries, mind you….
That is, if I understand the process correctly (though one would hope I’m wrong about this)…but gosh, these scurrilous rapscallions sure have a way of hanging on…
Rufus T. Firefly:
Yeah, that Wikipedia article is where I got most of the info on her when first hearing about her as new CoS. Trump & DeSantis have gone round ‘n round with each other over the years since he became Gov.
Wiles was set to help Trump’s 2020 campaign but according to the reporting from Politico, the tie to Wiles, who had “played a key role in… 2016“, was cut “at the urging of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis” to allow him “to install his own allies in the state party”, a move “widely seen as a setback to the president’s re-election campaign” in that battleground state.
Anyway, whatever went on in 2020 was not to Wiles liking, but she was back with Trump in 2021. His wife seems pretty headstrong, and maybe she wanted more involved…I dunno tho.
One thing for sure – who ever advised DeSantis to wear “height-boosting insoles” in his cowboy boots was/is a terrible advisor (they were obvious even to me who had never heard of such a thing!?). Susie Wiles wouldn’t have allowed it.
Note: Trudeau will resign as Liberal Party leader ONLY after a successor has been selected (heh, wonder how long that’ll take!)
It’s about so much more than just CRT. By a professor of philosophy, it’s more about how enlightened modernity – everything we take for granted – came about.
We need only look at how the modern idea of our common humanity originated and developed to see that critical race theory has everything backward. A realistic history tells us that the thinkers and engineers of the Anglosphere, principally England and the U.S., are the heroes, not the villains, of this story, while the rest were laggards, not leaders.
I was so impressed that I added the author – John Ellis – UC Santa Cruz – to my Notes app that I use to remind myself/stay in touch with interesting people in the public sphere. Turns out, however, he’s very old. That happens a lot.
Rufus – here’s an update on why Wiles probably said that about DeSantis:
Susie Wiles helped Ron DeSantis become governor of Florida, but he turned against her and banished her from his orbit. Donald Trump was all too happy to bring her in from the cold.
She’s great at what she does – smart – hard worker, and growing in power. DeSantis is probably toast if he ever runs for president again…lesson: Don’t fuk wid ‘Da Ice Maiden!!!

Karmi and Rufus T Firefly: Back in April “Politico” did a deep dive on Susie Wiles (including baby pictures!) – “The Most Feared and Least Known Political Operative in America” – https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2024/04/26/susie-wiles-trump-desantis-profile-00149654
It sheds light on the DeSantis situation as well as a general overview of how things get done in politics. I’m glad she and Trump connected in such a beneficial way!
For more, check out her father’s (Pat Summerall’s) memoir.

It’s hard to crash a system that bad these days.
But there you go. Huxley in his 20s as I make it.
Mike Plaiss, you’re right about that article by John Ellis.
Thanks Kate. And this is a good opportunity to post a correction. He is a professor emeritus of German literature, not philosophy. Either way, brilliant thinker.
One of Prof. Ellis’s points, which is absolutely true, is that it was the British who were the first in the history of the world to outlaw slavery, and Britain committed significant resources in money and lives to its eradication. This movement spread to all its colonial connections.
It has likely been said before, but-

You’re doing a bad job there, as president, buddy.
The big take away is that serious scientists are still examining the notion that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. That’s a good thing even if they ultimately turn out to be wrong.
Some great information in it. The economy in Canada is a shambles. And, as Poilievre and Peterson point out, they are one of the most resource rich nations on Earth. I never even considered the potential of becoming a data center powerhouse due to the natural advantage of the climate.
If this guy gets in and does half of what he wants to do and Trump and the Doge boys do half of what they want to do and Milei in Argentina, Bukele in El Salvador…
The Americas can have a huge, economic boom in the next decade!
“Every article on the effects of climate change should also note that China today emits more carbon than the United States, Europe and India – combined. China’s carbon emissions are so huge the country has now produced more carbon in the last few decades than Europe has since the start of the Indistrial Revolution. And China last year built more coal plants than in any prior year. All efforts outside China to slow climate change is (sic) just virtue signaling.”
Couple the above with the fact that CO2 makes up 0.042% of the Earth’s atmosphere (less than 1/2 of 1%) and human activity only impacts 3% – 4% of that 0.042%.
How many people who claim they “care” about climate and accuse others of being “climate change deniers” know the reality of the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and China’s impact compared with all other nations?
