Terror attack at German Christmas market — 15 Comments

  1. Just read, arrested a Saudi Doctor, with a bomb vest in his car.
This will not help the Left in Germany with the next elections, which I think are coming up.

I am afraid that something like this will happen here.

  2. When I lived in Germany doing my ARMY stuff from 1967 to 1970 I had my dear wife Nancy with me and we lived not far from Nuremberg where they have a Christmas Market every year. The Nuremberg Christmas Market is also known as the Christkindlesmarkt, Christ Child, Market, and it dates back to 1530 in the same location. They sell all sorts of handmade items in neat little booths and lots of good food and hot spiced wine, they have roasted chestnuts heated over little charcoal fires and the best I remember they were not really that good compared to the bratwursts and fantastic cookies. In 1969 we went into Nuremberg for the opening of the Christmas Market at the end of November and it was kind of neat with a lot of young school aged kids parading up the ancient streets below the castle carrying small metal lanterns lit up with candles and they cut off all of the electrical service in that area for a short amount of time while everyone sang ’Silent Night in German’, a fine old German Carol dating back to 1818 and translated into English in the 1860’s. I don’t know how the Germans are 50 years later but when we were there Christmas was most important to them.

  3. May God sovereignly deliver us from the hands of the politicians (and their constituents) who have put the citizens of the western world in harm’s way.

  4. Should we be at all surprised if, at some point in the future the ‘Authorities’ in Germany find some jihadis nailed to trees?

Fail to enforce the law and secure safety for the people and, as sure as the Sun rises in the east, you will breed vigilantes.

  5. European newspapers are in fact describing the perpetrador as an anti-islamic activist. Moreover, he is being pointed out as a far-right militant with connection to AfD. Some go on to say he is a fan of Elon Musk. Readers’ comments in the respective sites seem to show that this narrative largely exceeds the plot that people are ready to swallow.

  6. The perpetrator is a doctor of psychology. Seems his version of “anti-Islam” is pretty twisted. Angered, he said in his online posts, by German “mistreatment” of Saudi refugees, he committed a very jihadi act.

  7. This seems a every year ongoing event, and will not end.
The governments did it to their own population trying to replace them.

  8. Given that lying to the infidels is recommended in the Koran and Hadith it’s no surprise this fellow may look like he supports the west and/or Israel.

Say what you like about muslims but they’re perfectly willing to sacrifice themselves for a cause they believe in.

  9. It’s not true that the perpetrator “previously unknown to security services”.
Saudi Arabia warned at least three times about he dangers posed by this man (I have no details), and also asked for his extradition back to Arabia, which was denied fearing for his safety.
