Body of hostage is recovered by the IDF
The body of hostage Ivay Svirsky has been found by the IDF. Svirsky was abducted alive on Oct 7, 2023, but was killed about four months later and it has been known for quite some time that he was dead:
IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said at a press conference that Svirsky’s body was recovered “in operational activity, details of which cannot be expanded upon, in order not to endanger the operational efforts of the IDF and Shin Bet.” …
During his time in Gaza, he was held alongside hostages Yossi Sharabi and Noa Argamani. Sharabi was likely inadvertently killed as a result of an IDF strike, the military said in February, and Argamani was rescued in the summer.
So Israel is being tight-lipped about the details of finding Svirsky.
As if that story isn’t tragic enough, if you read the article you will learn the following:
Svirsky, 38, was visiting his parents, Orit Svirsky and Rafi Svirsky, in their Kibbutz Be’eri homes for the Simhat Torah holiday weekend when Hamas terrorists launched a massacre in the community on October 7, 2023.
Svirsky was with his mother in the sealed room of her house. She lived next door to her ex-husband, Rafi, his father.
Svirsky, who was single and lived in Tel Aviv, was known as the quintessential “uncle” to his nieces and nephews and his friends’ children. He was the only one of his parents’ four children in Be’eri at the time.
The family’s last communication with Svirsky and his mother was around 10 a.m.
The bodies of his parents, Orit and Rafi, were later found. They were buried on October 20, 2023.
So his parents were murdered at the outset, and Svisky was taken hostage and killed months later. I hope his surviving siblings and nieces and nephews find some comfort in the fact that at least his body has been recovered. RIP.
And France’s Macron is saying – hey, let’s reward those Palestinians with a state! What could possibly go wrong?:
French President Emanuel Macron and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced they would co-chair a conference for the establishment of a Palestinian state, according to a Wednesday AFP report.
The conference is expected to take place in June.
“In the coming months, together we will multiply and combine our diplomatic initiatives to bring everyone along this path,” AFP quoted Macron as saying.
“We want to involve several other partners and allies, both European and non-European, who are ready to move in this direction but who are waiting for France,” the French president added.

I was recently reading about Emmett Till. His mother was an amazingly strong woman. as painful as it was for her and her family, she specifically went with an open casket to show the world what evil was done to her son.
As horrible as it would be, I think Israel — the families of the hostages — need to take a page from Emmett Till’s mother. (The family of the Fogels did.)
So Macron wants to give the Palis Languedoc. Why not, Paris is on the verge of being majority Muslem, like Londonstan.
The hostages need to be considered sacrificial, thus expendable, so the hostage holders and their ilk can be eradicated and sent to Hell ASAP. Being a Jew held by jihadists, Muslims who torture, rape, burn, and behead infants is probably a fate worse than death.
Islam is an ideology, “convert or die”, not a true religion. Always remember, the Koran is the dictated words of Allah to Mohamed, including “Kill the Christian, kill the Jew”.
Macron: useful idiot.
Of course, the Palestinians have had years to establish a functional society that would warrant statehood — and hasn’t. Instead, they murder 1200+ Israelis — including putting babies alive in ovens — and kidnapped over two hundred, including hostages less than a year old to senior citizens. What better way for France to respond than to advocate for statehood for them?
Why are people so… STUPID?
Palestinians have had years to establish a functional society that would warrant statehood — and hasn’t.
I’d measure that in decades instead of years, but otherwise a very good comment.
At another blog I frequently visit, from time to time a commenter will post:
“Europe will never forgive The Jews for The Holocaust”.
They don’t want statehood.
Macron (like “Biden”) may want to go out in a blaze of “glory” (or rather perfidy), trying to give the Palestinians precisely that which they don’t want…
He may discover, though, that he doesn’t have quite enough time…

In the war in Gaza, both Amnesty International, + the UN’s leaders, are, in my words, believing the lie from Hamas that- “Israel is doing genocide in the war.”
I don’t believe that Israel is doing genocide.
Amnesty International, + the UN’s leaders/the United Nations’s leaders, are getting their “news + reports of genocide actions”, from HAMAS.
Hamas is a TERRORIST group, that will do any: lies, dishonest actions, war crimes, + murders, + unfair actions, to get their goal.
My words- Hamas’ goal is: TO DESTROY THE COUNTRY OF ISRAEL, by: using a war to get all Jewish people +/or Israeli people to leave the country of Israel, or- to kill all the people in Israel, who oppose them…(and that would leave Israel empty.)
Sadly, A.I. and the UN are believing the false reports of genocide, + are then trying to tell the world that “Israel is doing genocide in this war”.
These unfair tactics, done by Hamas, [+ by those people who believe their lies], might- once this war is over or before, make Israel:
1] a pariah nation to most nations in the world, + 2] might isolate, + demonize Israel, so that Israel becomes a nation despised by most of the word, just like, in my words- South Africa was despised, in the 1980s.
The people in Hamas are morally no better than Hitler + the Nazis.
Hamas does not care if they: lie, or murder, or do unfair war tactics, or do unfair reputation-destroying tactics against the nation of Israel, in the war in Gaza.
I an very disappointed that: Amnesty International [tm], + the UN, and others, are: believing the lies from Hamas, and are therefore helping Hamas fight their unjust war.
