  1. Contrast Daniel Penny vs Kitty Genovese

In the early hours of March 13, 1964, Kitty Genovese, a 28-year-old bartender, was raped and stabbed outside the apartment building where she lived in the Kew Gardens neighborhood of Queens, New York, United States

Neo has discussed this before, go look..

But I wanted to take a minute to make a bit of thought happen. The point of Kitty in this post is to note how few people tried to help. whether you believed the origunal story or the later information with more knoledge. the major key was what happened to society.

to be fair. We lived near there… but near is a different concept in NYC when anything that happens in one place can happen within hours in another place, unlike someone doing something in a town and leaving. at the time, things like this, and the serial killers paralyzed people’s lives.

So here we now have a jury basically mulling over whether or not Penny should have acted. I am avoiding the details for the bigger picture. The pivot points father is now trying to sue Penny.

with kitty, the person acting out was Winston Moseley
but there was no one to jump in.

with the people on the train Penny and others jumped in

    So…

Do not be suprised if the social result is someone just stands there and watches others get killed or murdered or they walk away, turn away, leave.

right now, with all that is, you do not want to be a man and be recognized as acting in any way… nothing is right regardless as there are other areas that require good samartitans to act or be arrested.

    just remember ladies…
all this has and what was wrought has more affect on you
which is why we used to live differently

the new reality is your on your own, unless you have a cat
men are not dating, marrying, or even going to clubs…
hundreds of videos with women going nuts not finding anyone to be with

well… combine that with the other politics and things..

its going to be a sad gray world in the future regardless of elections

  2. very cute,

yes taylor is terminally irresponsible and dim to boot, blue sky is just the right place for her, no wonder dorsey bolted out of the management of the place,

the kitty genovese may not have been true in all its particulars but it set the mood for the hellscape New york would descend into
under Lindsay and even into part of the Koch era,

I noted the deranged persecutor who is on Penny’s case instead of protecting the people, on an earlier link

of course if it wasn’t for miss mcrae, nee wilhelm neely might have been able to get some care, odd how Bragg and James don’t investigate that matter, she was in charge of the mental health fund for the city,

  3. In my head I always pronounce Bluesky as ‘blooski’ since it’s become such a haven for lefty haters of free speech.

  4. People who decamped for Bluesky complained that X had become toxic. Now they’re hanging out with deranged people who call for assassinations. Nice place.

  5. I wish we could have elephants as pets. If they were much smaller and easier to house and feed. They are very intelligent and sensitive creatures.

  6. Rick67 — I’m with you on that. The babies are so adorable and the adults just seen so intelligent and sensitive, like you said

I’d also love it if kangaroos and raccoons worked out well as pets. I know there are people who do keep raccoons as pets, but they are very destructive and they will tear out your dry wall to find something. I’ve also seen that some people keep some of the smaller walleroos as pets, but they don’t exactly house train. And the bigger red kangaroos might kill you.

But I’d love to get to know some elephants… Maybe in my next life.

  7. Barry Meislin:

Unlike FJB, President Trump gives a damn. That is a necessary first step in dealing with a problem.
