  1. Oh crap… trigger, trigger, trigger. Especially the Cocker named Hizi. My black headed Jack is named Hizi.

A couple years ago a friend was mowing for me with a rider and apparently scared him and he pulled out of his collar and disappeared. He was gone for a month. I’d spent two days driving around looking for him followed by the posters, checking pounds, etc. I was tore up but I kept my back door propped open hoping.

I was at the keyboard one morning and barely noticed him crawling up into my lap either scared or worried he was in trouble. I hadn’t cried that hard or long in years.

He’d lost four pounds out of his 25 but I had him back.

I love watching these types of vids ’cause they make me smile but when that man hollered out “Hizi!”, BAM!, it hit me like a brick and I started bawling again and grabbed my Hizi and hugged him.

Still dabbing my eyes as I type this.

  2. Update on my attempt at creating a Media Library. Haven’t done a post yet on my testing of KODI as the app for controlling or handling my library, but it’s easy to use for a novice like me. At some point, if I ever get into “streaming” I may check out another app or OS, but looks like KODI may also stream. Have never tried streaming because my internet has always been slow; however, this new fiber internet is plenty fast. Streaming will come last if at all for me, I suspect…

The EaseFab converter of media to MP4 has worked great so far. Did have to go back and add the real titles to Blue Blood series tho, i.e., I had gone with its default title which was something like S7_D11_2. On the Game of Thrones conversion, I had edited the title to the real one just before having the size reduced in HandBrake – that worked, so from now on that is how I do it.

I had a third test computer, ‘Frank which will handle the final library. Already tested that, and really liked how everything worked and looked — and no need to handle or switch DVDs or Blu-rays with that set up. Frank is a small form build so it can fit into other spaces if needed in future, and works great w/ Samsung TV.

  3. Hey Karmi:

What do you mean when you say “library”. My DH has a lifetime of work, book published, notes, website, etc.,etc. I would like to get his “library” put together in an organized place is this what you are referring to? If anyone here has any suggestions they will be much appreciated!

Second item: There is a program on Fox Sirius radio that comes on Sunday night at 6:00 Mountain time. I have forgotten the name of the man who does the commentary as I am not always out driving around on Sunday night! However, last night he was particularly brilliant. He spoke about the reality of Biden’s medical and mental condition. Does anyone here know the name of that program, or even better how I can get a link so that I can pass it on. Thank you

  4. It’s amazing how much humans can love animals and how hard to love other humans.

I’m not quite sure what I mean here.

  5. Anne. I believe you are talking about Mark Levin.
That is an audio simulcast of his Fox News Television show.
That was his topic last night.

  6. Huxley,

It’s because dogs love unconditionally. We do not deserve them.

I find a good portion of humans not even worthy of respect

  7. they have a special bond with people, harry truman had it right, on that score,

  8. “If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.”

  9. Hamas has long infiltrated the U.S., using American universities as its base, for over 35 years. It’s spread to over 300 Universities and Colleges.

The Program on Extremism at George Washington University published “The Hamas Network in America: A Short History” last October.

Mark Levin on his FNC show on Saturday reads from it, as posted to YT. Not only has higher ed been coopted, so has our media. Thus, NONE of this has penetrated the major media, including the BBC. “Victory or Martyrdom!”

  10. Hi Ed:

Thank you so much. He did a really important piece last night and I want to try to get it to the old liberal guys I know! 🙂

  11. After an earthquake, I had to coax my cocker spaniel out from under a woodpile. Poor baby.

  12. I think it is reasonable to expect the Democratic convention to produce another candidate for president. They don’t want Harris in the WH anymore than we do!
The question is who? Can Biden hold on until August 19? I think it will depend on how frequently he is absent between now and then. It will be a tight race but the Dems are willing to chance it.

  13. OH Shoot! I just had an epiphany! The dems are going to run Patty Murray for president!

Female, smart and liberal. Most importantly she is married to the family who in some ways owns/operates the Port of Seattle!

Never forget that it is the very wealthy women of Seattle who chose Obama and crafted him as presidential material and put him in the WH! They are also the same women who destroyed the Episcopal Church by demanding to have the first ever female Archbishop and also by demanding that the church acknowledge the gay community. This group of very wealthy females are the ones who will once again take over. By the way lest we forget Seattle is Microsoft Central and the ex Mrs. Gates is also a part of this coven.

  14. “The dems are going to run Patty Murray for president! Female, smart and liberal.”- Anne

Well, she’s female and very liberal. Smart? Have not seen that in her. Maybe she plays dumb to fool us. 🙂

I think Patty is more charisma challenged than even the amazing Kamala. She would, however, follow Obama’s orders carefully. So, there’s that.

  15. But, but, but, today KJP said all those videos of Biden freezing up etc are just cheap fakes! Whew! Now I know he’s fit, hale, and highly intelligent.

  16. patsy is dumb as a stump, but compared to the current breed, shes a mensa candidate, I tend to doubt it, Obama had more backing from the Chicago combine, then Seattle where his mother was from, and he was rarely ever there,
they do exert a certain influence on say Alaska through Perkins and Coie satellite office, yes the same firm involved with Fusion GPS and Crowdstrike through Marc Elias, and Michael Sussman, Marc Elias who organized the ballot avalanche, the shreds you say,

  17. Sorry–don’t understand “the shreds you say”, please explain to this old gal!

With regard to her not being very smart–she is WAAAAY smarter than Kamala and look where that got her!

It is not just Perkins Coie it is really about Preston Gates and Ellis.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preston_Gates_%26_Ellis
Those gals really believe it is “their turn to run the world” and they will go for it this time. Let’s not forget the voting machines are almost all now computerized on Microsoft power. Just sayin
