The left and January 6th — 19 Comments

  1. It is obvious that the “insurrectionists” are being treated in a manner not consistent with other lawbreakers. What is hard to understand is why so many people seem to be going along with it: law enforcement personnel, the media and the general public. The media should know better as they will be among the first sent to the gulag once the woke revolution has been completed. I think it is true that conservatives generally do not have the impulse to gather to demonstrate, which is unfortunate as the left seems to do so at the drop of a hat and with some success. But certainly law enforcement personnel must sense what is going on. Why no word from them? Or have I missed it somehow?

  2. besides julie kelly and a hand ful of others, everyone follows the party line, and conversely the rampant murder of police, destruction of city centers, smashing of statues that’s an oversight, every once in a while, you have an example like the black panther wannabe who shot officer raynor, but that is considered an outlier,

  3. One person’s view:

Key graf (try not to chortle):
‘Federal prosecutor Mona Sedky is calling for harsh punishment for January 6 defendants because of “the need to preserve respect for the law.” ‘

And it looks like Garland’s DOJ is not the only powerful org. with a rollicking sense of humor: Gaia or wants to get in on the fun! (And/or is seriously unhappy…or both…)

  4. My opinion is that the FBI, etc., infiltrate all groups, it’s just that when they infiltrate the left they do so more to help them than to stop, arrest, them. Our left has run workshops and had conferences on how to do protests – violent, and non-violent, and everything in-between for many decades. They are rarely arrested/stopped AFAIK.

  5. I don’t doubt that the Deep State has plans to create another false flag Jan. 6th ‘riotous insurrection”. Perhaps coordinated to occur around the middle of Oct. 2022 for maximum political effect. But too many people are on to the left’s game. The left needs the safety factor of continuing fraudulent elections to maintain their political momentum.

The left would love to impose martial law with draconian provisions but as long as the public is armed doing so is fraught with the potential for failure.

But such a false flag ‘riot’ could be used to pressure RINOs into voting for further disarmament of the public. Especially if cops are killed by ‘extremists’ at the ‘riot’ with the cops then responding with deadly force.

The greater the violence, the deeper the cover for RINOs to vote to violate the 2nd amendment. Going after the gun manufacturers through legal ‘accountability’ and suing ammo manufactures is probably next. That and increasing calls to nationalize local police depts.

Disarmament is an absolutely neccessary requirement for imposing the left’s agenda.

A recent study reveals how ineffective the left’s politization of the military actually is: “94% of sailors say US Navy has ‘crisis of leadership and culture,’ Congressional report finds”
    https://americanmilitarynews.com/2021/07/94-of-sailors-say-us-navy-has-crisis-of-leadership-and-culture-congressional-report-finds/

Happily, 94% of the military isn’t buying what the Pentagon and Biden administration is selling. That shouldn’t come as a surprise, good people don’t put their lives at risk to serve and defend an evil, “systemically racist” society.

So disarming the public is even more important for the left.

  6. When you steal an election with a lot of what appears to be not actual votes and you want to be sworn in as the leader you steal the deal with taking those who protest into custody in a manner we have not seen before and you send a message, don’t make waves, don’t mess with us, we are the leaders and it turns out that they are the leaders of our nation at this time.

I kind of think those in power are a bit nervous as news starts leaking out that there were a lot of votes that were not really real votes. The way to stay in power is to intimidate protesters and strong arm those who don’t agree, kind of old time mafia stuff. Those who are in power right now are concerned about the rest of the USA who are waking up to the current situation and I had no idea that the entrenched government workers were so onboard with maintaining their power. Of course they are and I was naive to think anything different when they are turning their backs on all sorts of criminal activity, especially in larger metro left leaning areas, and cracking down on people who don’t agree with them.

Lots of corruption, almost of biblical proportions, and may the Good Lord Save Our Souls. This January 6th event was not an attempt to overthrow anything.

. It’s a good fact filled roundup showing that the Left always Loved Show Trials.

Why? Great propaganda value revealing “Orange Man Bad” because “Deplorables are even worse!” Do they imagine, therefore it must be True!

Yet the stink of hypocrisy and double standards of the Witch Trial ate as obvious as hysteria over Witches!

As Monty Python’s Holy Grail put it: “What do you do with witches? You burn witches!”

So, us deplorable dissenters must get burned.

  8. T-Rex, above: “The media should know better as they will be among the first sent to the gulag once the woke revolution has been completed.”

While I think your assessment of the media’s post-rev future entirely correct, if “The Revolution” proceeds as so many have you may be surprised how few occupants of the gulag there will be.

What we’re seeing at the moment RE: ” ‘Insurrectionist’ Incarceration,” while no less abusive of the Constitution, it’s “incarceration” instead of “something else” only because so many people are watching.

  9. Since the FBI is so heavily involved in the support and furtherance of hare-brained nefarious activities on the part of the mentally dysfunctional and disaffected, does anyone know if that support extends to providing ammunition and training? Several of us who used to shoot competitively much more frequently but have curtailed the hobby because of ammunition scarcity and cost have wondered if there’s a “Terrorism Support Office” or something at the FBI to which we can apply for assistance, perhaps there’s a form one can fill out and submit? We really don’t need to tie up valuable personnel to infiltrate our group, we’ll submit weekly progress reports and receipts. All we really need is a railroad boxcar of ammunition, plane fare* to places like Oregon (Thunder Ranch), Arizona (Gunsite), DTI, New Mexico (the Whittington Center), wherever Greg Ellifritz and Massad Ayoub are teaching, etc., and money to cover tuition, we’ll handle our own hotel and food expenses.

*While we’ll accept plane fare, if the FBI has access to a private jet or two that would make the firearms baggage thing much easier.

  10. I agree – and what happens as this becomes more well known?

The Whitmer “kidnapping” fiasco seems to be doing this with hard evidence. Jan 6 “insurrection” I believe was similar, but no hard evidence yet of fbi influence (I believe there is lots).

That I have gotten to the point of believing that sort of thing is highly possible is a sad commentary on the events of the last few years.

  11. I am happy that our hostess saw fit to quote me, but now I feel that my comments were inadequate to convey the my true appraisal of the situation.

The truth is that the conservative is loathe to use violence, and is inclined to respect the rule of law, even when that rule is known to be corrupted. This makes the well-known humiliation effect of propaganda effective against us – we are forced by the popular media to listen to, and sometimes even to repeat, the lies that have come to dominate public discourse. This is the flaw in the “wait until the next election” strategy – we may become corrupted ourselves by then! Not to mention our shame as we watch Americans held as political prisoners!

The alternative of course is the one that the Democrats hope many of us fall into – violence, even justified protest that can be construed as violence, that they can use to destroy the candidacy of Trump and his movement.

This I believe is the true purpose of slow-walking even kangaroo justice and holding hearings over the January 6 protest. The Democrats want to force American patriots to either humiliate themselves or act strongly enough to be prosecuted!

Does Uncle Joe know this? I don’t want to sound as naive as “If only Stalin knew!”, but I doubt that he has the presence of mind to fully understand the terrible game his advisors (and Pelosi, Schumer, et al) are playing! The man cannot even speak the lines that are given to him! All he knows is that this is they way out of a sure-fire electoral catastrophe… and all he has to do is go along with half the country being humiliated one way or the other!

  12. Even funnier that a few mentioned that it could have been a Reichstag moment, but the truth of that was that we believe something false… as provided and changed by Willie Munsenberg…. who these people operating today know and his methods, even though non here wanted to discuss him… the history hits too close to home and too scary… it was always safer mentally to ignore him and his history and let it disappear than to find out the thread that lead to what they are now doing to you… and more importantly… to your children..

Actually, what happens is that the people who are on the side of these changes become the counter revolution… when they find out the truth of what they made, they want to fix it, and are quite zealous about it… they think they can fix it… ALSO, those that are not the counter revolution find out they are on the out!!! that they are not the leaders or the in people that they thought they might be… they are not celebrated nor are they rewarded… why? well the new regime realizes that they were traitors to their own people!!!!!!! you cant trust such people ever… the were never insiders from the other side they were outsiders who betrayed their people and so have no actual place to fit in to the new thing…

  14. Artfldgr: Actually the point I was trying to make, perhaps employing too much subtlety, was that the future American gulags will not so much be filled to overflowing with the formerly useful, but used as Hitler used them, temporary holding pens in front of the showers, furnaces and body pits.

While detainees require food, clothing of some sort, fortifications, guards, and a management structure corpses require none of that.

  15. @Elmer
While you are correct about the food etc. etc. that detainees require they provide the need for the management structure.
The management structure is a great place to keep formerly useful idiots that thought they would get power in the new structure. They get to have unconditional total power of a group of people that they hate. It is power that they wanted and they have it. They don’t have any real power but they see daily the cost of pushing on those with real power.

  16. Meh. There won’t be anything until the Biden administration creates it. Imagine a 2021 version of Waco with a days long standoff. Except in the era of social media. Good luck to the FBI trying to hold off a converging mob of 100s of patriots with their 2 dozen incompetent FBI stooges. THAT’s where this war gets hot. My fingers are crossed that the razor thin Democrat majority will continue to overplay their hand and won’t be able to break through the Manchin / Sinema filibuster firewall to enact the legislation they’d need to really go overboard.
