Mail-in voting wasn’t a bug, it was a feature
Everyone who knows anything about elections and fraud knows that mail-in voting raises the risk of fraud. There are several kinds of mail-in voting, though, and each has different risks. Absentee voting is tolerated but the voter must make the request, and that adds an extra layer of safeguard. Riskier still is universal mail-in voting in which ballot requests are mailed to every voter on the rolls – or, riskier yet, a ballot itself mailed to everyone on the rolls. States that have had this system for years at least have had a chance to work out some of the kinks. But this year’s expansion of the practice to many states with no experience at all in it – and voter rolls that had not been well updated in the past – was an invitation to disaster.
Well, now we have the disaster. And I submit that not only did everyone know some version of this would happen, but the Democrats consider it a feature rather than a bug. The upshot is that trust in our voting system has been undermined on a scale never before seen, and that such a phenomenon could and should have been foreseen and prevented. It was foreseen, but not prevented.
I had a pre-Election Day fear that it would all come down to Pennsylvania and that the votes there would be so mixed up that it would be impossible to verify anything, and that if fraud had been committed there would be no way to prove it. I think that nightmare has come true but in an even worse form, with multiple states involved.
More:
After this Nov. 3, one thing is poignantly clear: mail-in voting is a proven disaster. As we’ve seen, it’s grossly susceptible to fraud.
Many Republicans, including President Trump, have been warning about this for months. Democrats and the mainstream media also know it’s incredibly risky. But they’ve been obfuscating or flat-out lying to us about it for months.
How do we know? They once warned about mail-in voting themselves. Consider this New York Times article from 2010, which noted, “votes cast by mail are less likely to be counted, more likely to be compromised and more likely to be contested than those cast in a voting booth, statistics show.”
The Times article also says “fraud is easier by mail.” This should be common knowledge, and already was among election officials. Leon County, Florida elections supervisor Ion Sancho told the Times: “The only cases of election fraud have been in absentee ballots… The more people you force to vote by mail, the more invalid ballots you will generate.”
The New York Times article concludes: “Election experts say the challenges created by mailed ballots could well affect outcomes this fall and beyond. If the contests next month are close enough to be within what election lawyers call the margin of litigation, the grounds on which they will be fought will not be hanging chads but ballots cast away from the voting booth.”
Much more at the link.
Jim Jordan of Ohio has been warning the country for months about the likelihood of abuse and fraud with such unprecedentedly large numbers of mail-in ballots, which can so easily be lost or manipulated, in addition to the problems associated with ballot-harvesting and hopelessly corrupt voter rolls. Leftists tend to admire European models of governance, while ignoring the fact that most nations in Europe do not allow the kind of voting which is so easily compromised by trickery. Absent the climate of fear and hysteria over COVID engineered by the Democrats over many months, this scenario would probably never have been possible.
The ideal absentee ballot system (necessity vs. convenience) keeps the number so low that in most elections they are below the margin of victory and they aren’t even counted.
In Europe, you are required to let the police know your address, including every time you move. It’s on your official ID.
I vote in EU elections (as a legal non-citizen resident), but not in Slovak elections.
Paper ballots at the polling place, counted that night. My wife’s family and now my kids have often been working in polling places from early morning until late at night.
The Dems support mail-in Fraud ballots, because so many Deep State gov’t employees are Democrats. And they’ve been committing “small” fraud (tho they made Al Franken win) since Chicago Mayor Daly called up Votes of the Dead to give Illinois to Kennedy instead of Nixon in 1960.
Stop universal mail-in ballots!
One Person – One Vote – In Person.
(Reps need more, and better, protest slogans. And signs. And protests.)
The people here that said something to the tune of “Leftists are burning their own cities and they are getting what they voted for”.
In truth, the victims are not Leftist voters. They are humans who could never win against the Left, because GOP E, you conservatives, and other humans abandoned them and let the Left steal election after election.
So no, Leftists didn’t elect De Blasio. The Hammer did.
You humans are insufferably arrogant, and it takes some kind of traumatic event like Nov 3rd and the future ones until NOv 20th, to wake you all up to your awful condition. Get some of your thinking about your past shadows and actions, to get some atonement working.
If humanity was capable of looking within and fixing yourselves, a Trump would never have been necessary. Nor a Ymar even.
Even M Flynn is telling Americans post election day, that they need to awaken.
Colorado has had mail in ballots for quite some time.
It seems to work very smoothly. The election board
mails out ballots to every registered voter.
You can either mail your ballot back using USPS
or drop it off at numerous “VOTE HERE” drop boxes
run by the various election boards.
But there seems to be a problem that Judicial Watch has identified:
https://www.judicialwatch.org/in-the-news/1-8-mill-ghost-voters/
In Colorado, three fourths of all counties in the state
have more registered voters than adult residents.
And yet, ALL registered voters still receive ballots.
What could possibly go wrong?

Does that explain why Colorado has gone from a conservative state to a reliable Democrat state?
Neo is correct. It is obvious that the Democrats have wanted to steal the election. If they want free and fair elections they wouldn’t fight voter ID so hard. Erdogan is reported to say that democracy is like a street car which you get on and ride until you reach your destination and then you get off. Sadly, that is were the Democrat party is today.
Monte Meals,
This is how it used to be done in some counties in Washington State:
The ballot is created on a workstation type system. In WA there used to be a batching requirement, that is batches of ballots had the candidates listed in a different order for fairness. This is programed in at this time.
The ballot box programming is loaded into the ballot box memory modules from this workstation. These are then tested with sample ballots under the supervision of agents from the secretary of state’s office who then seal each module.
The modules are distributed to the polling places. Each transfer of modules and cast ballots are accompanied by hand receipts that list the components by description and unique identifier along with the number of the seal. Each party in the transfer signs and retains a copy so there is always a chain of custody.
On election day, the seals are checked and broken and the modules installed in the ballot box in full view of all poll workers.
Each voter checks in, signs the precinct book and is issued a ballot. As each person drops their ballot into the box, it is scanned and tallied at that time. Any scanning error can be addressed at that time. The poll worker can destroy and reissue a ballot if need be. You know when you leave that your vote has been tallied AND IT HAS NOT BEEN HANDLED BY ANYBODY ELSE! There is a slot on the side of the ballot box for those voting absentee to drop their ballot in but it is not scanned or tallied.
When the polls close, the memory modules are removed and sealed and the bags of ballots are removed from the ballot boxes and sealed. Memories and bags of ballots are then transported to the elections office sometimes by separate couriers.
The memories are unsealed and read by the tabulator (which has been programmed separately). If absentee ballots could swing a race then they are processed at this time but only those relevant to the race or races in question. Elections personnel do various quality checks for gross errors and the results reported.
Uncounted forgotten bags of ballots found in trunks of cars are pure bull$%!+

“Uncounted forgotten bags of ballots found in trunks of cars are pure bull$%!+”
For many years, I live in New Mexico which has been ruled by Democrats for generations. The governor might change but the legislature was always Democrat. The bags of ballots in trunks of cars were a regular feature of elections. When the people in power didn’t get the results they wanted they continued to count and kept finding ballots until they got just enough votes to win. Then mysteriously the ballots stopped coming in.
Here are three good articles outlining the statistical anomalies in PA, MI and WI. Taken together, you see a pattern emerge that was brilliant in its strategy to throw an election. Focus on a handful of counties and stuff the ballot box just enough to carry the state. The anomalies are very similar and can’t be explained, such as 96% turnout.
Worth the read of all three…

Hehe. It would logically follow yes… did California send so many liberal voters to Colorado that it turned blue so suddenly? Or was it…. a hammer and anvil?
Then mysteriously the ballots stopped coming in.
Paying Leftist operatives to do over time work at night gets expensive. No need to ramp up costs beyond necessary.
There have been a few reports of USPS employees being involved in backdating late mail-in ballots.
The case of whistleblower Richard Hopkins from Erie PA is interesting for a variety of reasons.
1) Out of sight when handling mail bags he overheard the postmaster, Rob Weisenbach discussing their backdating efforts.
2) The whistleblower case has already been investigated by a Fed. agent of the USPS Inspector General, Russell Strasser.
3) Agent Strasser, a TDS Twitter blogger, interrogated and manipulated Hopkins for perhaps 4 hours.
4) Hopkins wasn’t quick enough to avoid being manipulated but was smart enough to secretly(?) record 2 hours of the interrogation.

The Interrogation (2 hrs.)
I only listened to the first 15 mins. of the interrogation, but it’s rather incredible.
Dare I suggest that Russell Strasser is another operative in the line of Peter Strzok and Lois Lerner? And who made the decision to pick Strasser to investigate?
