Andrew C. McCarthy tries to correct the narrative on vote-counting — 71 Comments

  1. Yeah, Andy is right. The Left is good with making up phrases.

But we conservatives have the law on our side and we can outwork them. Go to federal court and get new elections ordered in WI, MI and PA.

Another remedy is have the state legislatures exercise their *plenary* power to select Electoral College electors. No one can stop them. SCOTUS has said so. The worst thing happens is that the GOP members in the those states lose their elections next time.

  2. And you know trump did not win in a landslide because the vote counters were fair?

70 to 30, popular vote. That is the difference with biden s most best vote fraud machine. Better than president hussein

  3. I very well remember sitting in the Nebraska State Capitol Building after the Board of Canvassers refused to certify the election results in the Democrat party primary for Governor. I worked at Ben Nelson’s law firm at the time.

We walked into the marble hallway and I said to my fellow lawyer, “We have to sue. We have to sue for a writ of mandamus.”

    We did.

Trump’s lawyers have to go to federal court and ask for new elections in MI, WI and PA.

  4. Leftists have won, and continue to win, every “semantic battle”, having recently (through the efforts of a single young woman) even managed to coerce Merriam-Webster into changing, yet again, the definition of the much-overused and much-abused word “racism.” One of the many reasons for the inability of conservatives to win almost any battle is that they are perpetually fighting by the rules of the enemy (whether related to language or to anything else); one of the many reasons for Trump’s popularity is that he, unlike many spineless members of the GOP establishment, will fight against leftists by whatever means he can muster.

  5. I am afraid this is over as for who won the most “votes” in each state. There is no way Trump can hold off Philadelphia from swamping him with new votes, and apparently he won’t hold off Atlanta in Georgia. Georgia Democrats just keep finding more votes with the gutless governor or SOS doing jack sh*t about it.

The facts on the ground is what the Democrats are creating here- the Republicans seem to have convinced themselves that Trump losing is OK because they kept control of the Senate and gained House seats. They are delusional. The Democrats will control the Senate after they win both GA runoff elections, and they will win both of them- the performance of the Republican Party in Georgia will piss off enough Trump voters that they will stay home during the runoffs- and, seriously, who is going to stop the Democrats from doing again what they are doing today- just count until they win. Additionally, just wait and see what happens in NC- Tillis will be defeated, too, even if the Democrats have to count until next year.

It was always going to be an uphill battle to overcome the Arizona lead Biden has, so Georgia and Pennsylvania don’t matter in the end, but it is going to be a shame if Trump does win Arizona only to watch the Democrats steal Georgia and/or PA.

  6. The fact that we saw this coming, clearly, does not mitigate the sadness at the fact that it did happen. When this is over and Biden is in the White House, we will have to sit by and watch while the Left dismantles what is left of the goodness that was the United States. That we can see this coming too, clearly, also will not mitigate the sadness that we will feel as we watch it happen.

Take care of yourself, your family, and those closest to you, and do the best you can to weather the coming storm.

  7. I remember when there was no one between you and your vote being tabulated. First, with voting machines. You closed the curtain on the machine, and flipped the appropriate little levers; and the results were tabulated and the little levers reset when you pulled the handle to open the privacy curtain. As always, there was opportunity for fraud; but it was limited.
Later, in Virginia, after identifying yourself to the polling official you received a paper ballot. You went to a private area, blacked in the appropriate circles on the ballot with the pen provided, then fed it into a scanner. Very simple. No one between you and your ballot’s tabulation; and the scanner stored the paper ballot for a recount if necessary.

Now, ballots are mailed to every registered voter, or in some states every resident. If you mail it in, it may end up in a ditch or a farmer’s field. At any rate, multiple humans handle your ballot from the time it is filled out in a remote, unsupervised, location by you, or a vote harvester. It is tabulated by hand, by a loosely supervised (?) ballot counter in a room with dozens of others. In the TV report I saw from a contested state, every tabulator was a Person of Color. I leave it to other to decide whether that is significant in an era of identity politics.

No need here to go through the litany of the other anomalies that are built into the system this year.

If you were designing a system for a Banana Republic, what would you do differently?

By the way, with respect to voter registration; I witnessed a classic example of a corrupt registration on the sidewalk in front of a grocery store in California, which involved no identification whatsoever. Since it was my wife who was registered, I did not protest. She receives a ballot by mail every election.

  8. The fact that this election wasn’t a landslide for Trump says it all. People can’t put aside their bigotry for the man to vote for him when arguable he has done more than Obama and Biden combined in four years of politics than they have than all their years as public servants. Prejudice to the highest order.

  9. GRA, I think it would have been a landslide victory for Trump if the entire rest of the world, so to speak, weren’t hell-bent on making sure that didn’t happen by any means necessary.

I’m almost speechless to explain my rage and frustration, but Tucker and VDH did a good job of encapsulating how I feel last night.

To think that one of my sons was taught at Hillsdale by both VDH *and* Mark Steyn and is now a flaming liberal just about makes me lose my mind.

However, I have a question for any of you who may be able to shed some light…my husband keeps asking, “if all this fraud, the actions of the media, the big tech companies, the democrats in power, from before Trump even took office, through Meuller, impeachment, the way the Covid thing has been handled in the media, Hunter, etc. All of it.”

IF this is all true (and he believes it’s highly likely that it is true, as do I), WHO is orchestrating it? Who sends out the memo to all the lefty news organizations and tells them their talking points?

Who tells whom about the tactics for fabricating votes? Who comes up with the Covid narrative of the day? I mean, we can all imagine EXACTLY how the same statistics…the exact same statistics…would be characterized if Hillary had been president. Look how many lives she’s saved! Only 200K died and it would have been 2M!!! Blah, blah blah.

Who disseminates the information and by what means? And the ones who aren’t all in on the game, how do they keep them quiet? Threats?

I feel like I’m missing some key point here.

  10. I agree Cornhead. Already commented on the other thread. Should be treated the way the Feds treated de-segregation and busing. Court ordered elections, and results tabulated by date certain–say 12/15. Plan must be approved by court. Elections and tabulations monitored by federal marshals.

The integrity of the system demands it.

    Nice fantasy.

  11. Amid a pandemic, a recession, and with the democrats having a “historical turnout”* and still trump only barely lost under such problematic and questionable circumstances, I am actually astonished by how well he did. The 5% of white male votes he lost probably were the white supremacists who abandoned trump after finding out he wasn’t racist at all and loving the Jews and Israel a little too much, they probably went to Biden this year.

  12. Dave:

You may be onto something. I hadn’t thought of that. I don’t think they were ever as high as 5% of his total, though. But maybe.

  13. Yammer is right. (I can’t believe I typed that…)

Do we really know, given the amount of fraud that looks to be happening, that it wasn’t a Republican landslide? We don’t. And given enthusiasm and the rallies, we have every reason to believe there was a Republican landslide. Look at the other republican gains. And then they want us to believe Joe Biden had more enthusiastic voters than Barak Obama, the Lightbringer himself.

My friends, that is one enormous, stinking pile of bullshit.

Anyway, I’m not ready to give up on this or turn defeatist. I know some are and I get it, I do. The enemy is relentless and ruthless and the MSM gives them all the cover they need. And then some.

But this is a Rubicon moment.

If this stands, no American election will be fair or honest ever again, for the life of the Republic, however long it lasts after the year 2020. This is it folks. We don’t go back to playing nice and civil if this stands. The terrorist Antifa mobs don’t go away if this stands. The Left’s DOJ will persecute and prosecute Trump and his family. And anyone who supported them. Their terrorists will target us. All of us.

Why else are so many of our spineless GOP not speaking up? Because they know, if this stands, and they took a stand for Trump today, they are ruined- or worse- after January 2021. They believe if they keep quiet, they will get by afterward. They’re wrong of course. The Crocodilian Left never quits, they make lists (with Facebook and Google’s assistance) and they won’t eat the cowards last.

Never despair. Stand fast, keep the faith and never give up.

    And keep your powder dry.

  14. White supremacists are an invention of the Dems to keep the coloreds, the non-whites, on the Dem plantation. As Biden said, “If you don’t vote Dem, you ain’t black”. White supremacists constitute maybe 1 in every 100,000 Americans, probably fewer. Dems want to keep Bull Conner’s memory alive. I don’t care much about our black culture, but that does not make me a supremacist, just a person with taste. What is happening before our very eyes is that blacks are becoming supreme! In college admissions, for example. They have their own anthem now also!

And what is Election Day? A nothing on the calendar, not when there are 4 weeks of mail-in opportunities preceding it. More than half of all ballots (92/160) were cast before Election Day. Biden corruption? We don’t hear of that; anyway, we done mailed our ballots!

  15. The 5% of white male votes he lost probably were the white supremacists who abandoned trump after finding out he wasn’t racist at all and loving the Jews and Israel a little too much, they probably went to Biden this year.

Dave: I can’t see that at all. That would be a several hundred-thousand to a million white men. There are not anywhere near that number of old-school white supremacists.

It’s true that alt-right leader, Richard Spencer, shifted his vote from Trump 2016 to Biden 2020. The size of the alt-right is hard to gauge, but their infamous Charlottesville protest was only 500-600 participants.

  16. Some random thoughts from an ignorant guy who doesn’t know much
Those are called early voting for a reason, you have weeks if not months to mail those in, if you are going to wait until the last day to mail those in, why drop off in a post office risking losing them or missing deadline instead of a polling place instead? Somehow these people who waited til the absolute last moment to turn in the ballots somehow overwhelmingly vote in favor of biden in a ridiculous ratio. The batch that came in sneakily at night while everyone was asleep that gave biden the lead went nearly 9 out of 10 for biden, is that inline with everywhere else? I want to know if the mail in ballots that came in after hunter biden emails are more in favor of biden than ballots after, if so that sounds fishy. I know many republicans who did early voting so they need to stop bsing me about the ratio is normal because conservatives don’t do mail in. I know democrats prefer mail in more for whatever reasons, but to that extent and with those counties only?

  17. gwynmir —

It doesn’t have to be a conspiracy if everyone already agrees on the goal and knows what they have to do.

That said, I am absolutely certain that the media collude with Democrat politicians. It used to be that the pols would come up with their talking points and just repeat them on every TV show; nowadays I’m pretty sure the “journalists” (spit) get their talking points and phrases of the day from the pols under the table and present them as “news”.

  18. I tossed in a couple of bucks to winred for the legal battles.

While I’m borderline despondent, I think about all the successes our country has had when faced with horrible odds. It’s not over.

  19. And from the PJMedia liveblog:

    JEFF REYNOLDS | NOV 05, 2020 8:08 PM EST
In regards to media collusion with the MSM — I will have an article up in a day or two, with inside source material, showing how NBC colluded with the Biden campaign to neutralize the 63 page report proving links between Hunter, Joe, and the CCP, in their hit piece against Christopher Balding (who, to be fair, erred in tactics but had the report 100% accurate).

So there you are. Not that it will make any difference.

  20. A modest suggestion.

If mail in voting is going to be the future, there are a couple of relatively easy measures that should improve it significantly.,

First. In a mailing separate from each ballot, provide a PIN (I say separate to ensure anonymity.). When the ballot is returned it must have a valid PIN or it will not be counted. The PIN would be anonymous to the people processing the ballot, of course; but they would have a list of valid PINs, and check off the corresponding one. Confirms that it is a legitimate ballot; and prevents multiple ballots from one recipient. (Analogous to the purple thumb.)

Second. Use a ballot form that can be scanned the same way we used to do it in Virginia; and I suppose elsewhere. Ballot is opened under supervision of a monitor from each campaign; PIN checked off, ballot scanned into tabulating machine, which retains the paper copy for possible recounts. Takes a few seconds. Ballot tabulation available almost real time. Good, if not perfect security.

Certainly such a system is well within our capability. It would be efficient, cost effective; and as secure as it could possibly be. It is mind boggling that procedures that are no more complex than those used for on-line shopping by millions of Americans every day, are not implemented in one of our most fundamental activities.

    Maybe too secure for some..

  21. “keep chanting that “every vote counts” and demagogue anyone who says otherwise — i.e., anyone who insists that state statutory law be followed…” Andrew McCarthy

Deceitful rhetoric requires an adroit response.

Example; ‘Oh I agree, every legitimate vote should be counted. That’s the law of course. You do agree that our state laws should be followed?’

That places the onus on them; do they or do they not support the law?

  22. Oldflyer —

There are a hundred ways to design a transparent, trustworthy voting system, even ones that include vote by mail. The problem is that the Democrats don’t want that, and will scream “raaaciiisssm” with the media and academy as a supporting choir if one is even suggested.

And even if one were passed by a Republican state legislature, it would at some point depend on Democrats in the big cities doing their jobs honestly and honorably, and it’s now clear that we can’t depend on that at all.

It used to be that just Chicago was a dark joke, but now we see that there’s nowhere dominated by Democrats that is reliable.

  23. Can someone in the know explain in details how exactly can democrats cheat in these elections or dump ballots the last moment after finding out they are about to lose? Hasn’t the list of absentee ballots requesters showing all the people who have requested a ballot been released before the election? If They can’t add more names to the list after election started then how do they get more ballots to fill if they cant alter the list?

  24. Oldflyer, that’s an interesting idea. Suppose it were something like this: the PIN might be sent in the form of a barcode sticker, coming from a second source (i.e. different point of origin than the board of elections for the jurisdiction in question) which has its own copy of the eligible-voters list, which has been independently audited. The voter can receive the letter with the PIN sticker and the ballot in separate mailings, just fill out the ballot and attach the sticker so there is no handwriting issue or anything, then send it in. Then at the receipt location, proceed as you described, with the slight advantage that the PIN can be scanned (barcode) in addition to the scanning of the ballot, which speeds things along and doesn’t give the clerk doing the scanning any opportunity to adulterate the identification.

And you know, at this point I’d even consider letting some non-US body run the whole thing. Not the UN, for various reasons; but maybe the Swiss, for example. They’re neutral and they know how to run things. It’s of course sad that I feel the need to reach to outside parties to help us run our own elections, but this is where we are – the internal trust is just not there.

  25. “this is a Rubicon moment.

All of us. Fractal Rabbit

    Bingo.

If the dems steal this election having used the most blatant of means, avoiding another Civil War will be impossible. Not because any sane person wants such a war. But because the young and old radicals in the democrat leadership will not settle for a european style capitalist/socialism. Nothing less than Cuba-Venezuela will satify them. And that will lead to Civil War as surely as Hitler’s invasion of Poland made WWII inescapable.

  26. Sure Phillip Sells. Excellent point.

The real key to me is having a ballot that can be scanned, so that it is tabulated automatically. The handling by humans is minimized, and the results are available in near real time.

Appalling that it has been more than 48 hours since polls closed, except PST, and it is dragging on. The Pa Sec of State said a few minutes ago that they have several hundred thousand to count-out of around 7M cast.

James Baker, just quoted on NewsMax telling Trump to essentially shut up. Anti-Trumpers can’t help themselves. I have had enormous respect for Baker, he is eroding it.

  27. Geoffrey Britain,

Something else that should scare everyone, Left, Right, or otherwise: Trump is the “NICE” guy.

They really aren’t going to like the man who comes after Trump.

History tells us the man the American Right turns to when the when the Left comes for them in force is likely to be a monster. And it will be the Left and their enabler’s fault. The enablers being the cowards in the GOP who needed a kick in the ass from their constituents today to speak up against what was going on.

  28. Remember when they would count the entire country in an evening without benefit of computers, and the only suspense was a close race where the absentee ballots might make a difference?

    Good times…

  29. We will probably eventually go mostly to on-line voting with mailed back receipts or texts. It can be made very secure and hard to commit fraud, and hacking it will leave traces that can be definitively shown to have affected the outcome. It would probably be the end of the private ballot to some extent, but it would probably be worth it.

  30. how conveniently biden beat trump in all these blue battleground states in nearly the same margin in nearly same fashion, like sone sort of script, the whole thing just appeared ingenuine and unnatural. Just because they were all battleground doesn’t mean they would be decided all in biden favor with nearly identical margin in such artificial way.

  31. @Dave: “Can someone in the know explain in details how exactly can democrats cheat in these elections or dump ballots the last moment after finding out they are about to lose?”

    I will try.

There is a difference between a ballot that is requested by the voter and a ballot that is automatically mailed to the voter, whether it has been requested or not.

The first type of ballot is called an absentee ballot.

The second type goes out (again, unrequested) to anyone who has ever been on a precinct’s voter rolls, whether the person still lives in the area or not, whether the person is dead or not (many precincts and states, in violation of the law, do a poor job of cleaning up their voter rolls and removing the names of people who are not longer eligible to vote in the particular location).

For example, I read today about a woman who moved from Oregon to California. She asked the state of Oregon to remove her name from its voter rolls. That never happened, and she received an Oregon ballot in the mail at her new address in California, and she had not even given Oregon her new address. And Tim Pool, the journalist, received three different unrequested ballots in the mail at his home in New Jersey, addressed to parties who had previously lived at his house. I think you can see the opportunity here for multiple voting.

Then there is the possibility that a mailed (unrequested) ballot can simply be stolen from a mailbox and used by someone else.

And with that kind of loose security, it is also possible for multiple blank ballots simply to be printed up on an as-needed basis, maybe in connection with a scheme whereby people in the community are paid to fill them out, and the ballots are later “harvested.” A scheme like this was recently discovered in Minneapolis and was alleged to be run by supporters of Ilhan Omar:

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/minnesota-police-investigating-alleged-ballot-harvesting-by-ilhan-omar-supporters/ar-BB19w04Y

Now imagine the mischief that becomes possible if, say, there is no requirement for a postmark.

These are just a few of the ways that unsolicited ballots can be put to nefarious use.

In my state (New Mexico), state officials (Democrats) originally intended to mail unsolicited ballots to every voter, but they were stopped by the state supreme court after activists from Texas, with the True the Vote organization, intervened.

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/04/14/exclusive-stopped-cold-true-the-vote-ends-lefts-vote-by-mail-scheme-in-new-mexico-as-national-battle-intensifies/

    I hope this is helpful.

  32. Haven’t been this mad since kavanaugh. Sorry for all the rant but this is clearly cheating. Humans have an uncanny ability to spot patterns and randomness, the counting of these states all follow the same pattern to a teeth. They all failed to produce result in the election night, trump would gradually opening up the lead naturally, then around the same time when the counting all at around 60 to 75% the committee would call it a night, then next morning Biden would overtake trump with nearly the identical margin after receiving a batch that is overwhelming in favour of him and the batches are always barely big enough to erase the trump’s lead and give Biden the lead with identical small margin regardless how much or little trump was leading, they all conveniently big enough to erase trump’s lead and giving Biden same advantage, how slight the statistical probability that all states followed nearly the same script?

So basically if trump was leading 5%, the batch favouring Biden would conveniently barely erase the 5% lead, if trump was leading 10%, the batch would conveniently erase the 10% lead vica versa

  33. Feels like the numbers were tailor made based on how much trump was leading and what number he likely to get following the trend and engineered to be just enough to erase the lead and beat him barely without making the margin so large that would rise suspicions by making the turnout way too ridiculously big (even the turnout now is ridiculously big already, more votes than obama 2008? after hunter emails? give me a break)

  34. No wonder the turnouts were over 100%, what if I don’t want a ballot because I don’t want to vote and I don’t want a ballot printed on my behalf that can provide a chance for someone to use it for voter fraud, this is messed up banana republic bullcrap. How could something this ridiculous be allowed to happen? This is below Bolivian level election. Do all the states haing issues use this stupid system of mail in voting?

  35. “I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this — who will count the votes, and how.”. Josef Stalin 1923

This frequently gets translated as “It’s not the people who vote that count, it’s the people who count the votes.”

George Soros has taken this axiom and under his “Democracy Alliance” has help elect several Democratic Sec of State (SoS) of which Joselyn Benson is one. Note that all undeclared states but Georgia have Democratic SoS. This and his support of soft on crime district attorneys has dissolved some of the social ties of this country. In 2016, I knew that Michigan was going to punish Republicans severely for the Flint Water Crisis. I told people my greatest fear was if we lost the SoS which we did. We have sown the wind and reaped the whirlwind with this chaotic, fraudulent election. There was ballot harvesting and the cars delivering votes in the dead of night. What was the chain of custody for those ballots (not votes) is open. The gap between the vote for president and all down ballot races just doesn’t make sense.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/why-does-biden-have-so-many-more-votes-democrat-senators-swing-states

By the way I researched the story of the dead voting in MI and it has been debunked (Essential Fleccas). It was the son, William Bradley with the same name and address that voted. No other names has come forward.

Between this and the heavy handprint of social media, we the American people need to vote people with integrity as SoS. As I posted earlier I am getting more involved with party politics to be part of the process to fight this. Also with “True the Vote” organization too. It is critical that we pay more attention to these state races. I certainly will.

  36. “Republicans seem to have convinced themselves that Trump losing is OK because they kept control of the Senate and gained House seats. They are delusional.”

I am one who intends to support the GOPe every bit as much as they supported my guy.

  37. I went down the list of Republicans who are ahead in their House races, but uncalled yet. It is a big list- over 30 races- some of the leads are pretty big, too. I predict almost all of them lose over the next 3 weeks as the Democrats just harvest and harvest and harvest, while the Republicans sit on their asses doing nothing.

  38. @Faith2014 I FEEL that way too. I am not happy with what is happening and doubt that the Dominant Elite can be stopped from getting Biden into the White House. And a quick glance at the undecided senate seats implies they may count out enough Republicans to completely control the legislative and executive branches. But America has gotten through worse and I don’t believe the spirit of the American people has been broken – just really challenged as it was in the Civil War and by the Depression and WW2 in my Parent’s generation. I think it is crystal clear that today’s underlying socio political forces remain and will be worked out in one fashion or another. While the two snapshots we have from 2016 and 2020 show that the division persists, it remains to be seen which side will have the strengths required to win out in the end. So that is my take on Faith2014’s abiding sense that “It is not over”.

  39. Dave —

Election laws are only to be enforced against Republicans. Because any time it looks like it might go the other way, they scream “racism!” and the media screams “racism!” and the Hawaiian judge screams “racism!” and the Republicans fold.

  41. “It would probably be the end of the private ballot to some extent, but it would probably be worth it.” – Yancey

Trump voters are shy about talking to pollsters because they think they will get outed and then harassed or worse*; I can’t even imagine how bad the situation would be like when the politicos can actually find out how we voted.

Well, yes, I can imagine it – that’s why this is a terrible idea, no matter how “efficient” it would be.
I think we should go back to Oldflyer’s paper ballots that are directly tabulated when fed into the machine, and very severe limits on absentee and early voting (I have no problem with either of those in theory, only in some of the practice).

In General, “Shy Voters” Cited Six Concerns:
    1. A lack of trust in phone polls as truly being anonymous.

    2. An apprehension to associate their phone numbers with recorded responses.

    3. Fear that their responses will become public in some manner.

    4. Fear of reprisal and related detrimental impact to their financial, social, and family lives should their political opinions become publicly known.

    5. A general dislike of phone polls.

    6. Malicious intent to mislead polls due to general distrust of media and political pundits (though a sentiment expressed only by a few “shy voters”).

Such concerns were more often than not expressed by Republicans and Independents, and also by those who said they would vote for Donald Trump. Democrats and Biden supporters lagged both groups in terms of being concerned that their voting intentions would be shared with others.

However, our survey findings — that show a greater reluctance on the part of Republicans, Independents and Trump voters to disclose their opinions — should not be interpreted as outright lying. Rather, such reluctance seems to stem from a lack of trust in the anonymity of polls and a fear of the consequences if their opinions were to become public.

After Settlement With Judicial Watch, Los Angeles County Still Mailing Ballots to Dead People

This was particularly interesting. Even when you beat the Democrats, they just ignore the defeat and motor on.
The William Bradley case may have an innocuous explanation, but the fraud goes beyond that one example.
Ric Grennell is really hot on the trail.

I really hope he runs for national office sometime so I can vote for him.

If a Won Election Is Not Reported, Is It a Won Election?
BY DAVID SOLWAY NOV 04, 2020
Everyone knows the old teaser: If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? The answer turns on the concept of “sound.” There will be sound waves, of course, but “sound” depends on the human ear registering and interpreting the kinetic energy released by the falling tree. So, no, it doesn’t make a “sound”—and if one is not present, or is not paying attention or is distracted by other considerations, one will not know whether the tree has fallen or not. But if one takes a walk through the forest, one may note the fallen tree and arrive at the proper conclusion. It fell, sound or no sound.

The analogy with the current electoral muddle is obvious.

So the question remains: If Trump won the election but the fact is not reported, did he win the election? Did the tree fall? If the media have their way, no one will hear the tree and no one will hear the electoral outcome.

A walk through the political forest would settle the issue, but who’s walking? Perhaps a handful of responsible journalists and, hopefully, a plurality of conscientious voters.

For the tree did indeed fall. The kinetics were present for anyone in the vicinity to translate energy into sound. A walk through the forest—an attentive examination of all the factors involved—would yield the truth. But for the swamp denizens and their innumerable outriders, there is not even a forest. One thing is absolutely needful. The Supreme Court must listen to the sound of the falling tree.

70,000 Michigan Voters Chose Joe Biden But Not The Incumbent Democrat Senator Gary Peters

In-the-weeds and by-the-numbers, which Trump’s lawyers no doubt are already checking.

“Americans continue to watch these pieces of failure given human form with a sort of macabre interest, wondering how they keep going despite reality constantly curb-stomping them,” said news consumer Priscilla Garrett. “In a way I admire them, but in a bigger way, like everyone else, I’m just baffled they exist.”

It’s not even satire anymore; I read a lot of media posts about why and how the pollsters got things so wrong.
Not one of them said: because they are biased and trying to manipulate the voters.
Bloggers like Neo, and commenters at most right-wing sites, know that.

“We’re just waiting to see if our guy lost before it’s go time,” said Christopher Jenkell of Portland. “I hate all this waiting around. I much prefer the 2016 election, when Trump was quickly declared the winner and we knew right away it would be endless protests for the next four years.”

“In a way,” he added, “I really hope Trump wins. I just don’t know what I would do with myself for the next four years if he were to suddenly be out of my life.”

  45. I hate to say it. But Trump will lose in court. The Justices are just as gutless as the rest of Washington. I doubt that the merits of the arguments will have much to do with it. They have one side that has promised and demonstrated its intent to be violent. And I think they will calculate that appeasing them will end the whole thing with the other side simply giving up after bitching about it for awile.

And it might. But if that happens then its out in the open that massive fraud on a countrywide scale is possible. We will be left with a horrible binary choice at that point. Riding off and thinking you can somehow fix it later (at this stage that seems delusional). Or directly confronting those involved. And as I have mentioned before the right does not have the finely tuned violence rheostat that the left has.

God I hope I am wrong. I really sincerely hope I am. But judging what people have been buying up around the country. This appears to have occurred to many others besides myself.

  46. A shot for cw2 has not happened yet… so why are so many giving up? American slaves are used to leftist psychopaths abusing the american body and will.

They lack the balls or spine to fight.

A lot of gun and ammo buying but the hands that hold them are shaking. Why not fight your abusers and rapists? What do you all have to lose?

Fractal is right, why are people giving up and singing the benefits of being in a relationship with sociopaths? Get a divorce.

Get angry. If half were as angry tiwards leftists as my wall makes you all angry for hitting it, more would fight.

Do peeps expect trump to save you all? He should take all the hits for you so yall can sit back, watch, and feel safe as rape victims?

    America, home of the brave?

God is watching. Try to act like a free man or woman, even though all were born into deep state vampiric slavery via cabal power. This is a test.

  47. I said earlier that none of the post-mortems of the polls would admit they were miserably wrong because the pollsters are biased and trying to manipulate the voters.
However, the inimitable VDH is not afraid to speak truth to power.

A cynic might answer that polling no longer aims to offer scientific assessments of voter intentions.

Pollsters, the vast majority of them progressives, have become political operatives. They see their task as ginning up political support for their candidates and demoralizing the opposition. Some are profiteering as internal pollsters for political campaigns and special interests.

Never again will Americans believe these “mainstream” pollsters’ predictions because they have been exposed as rank propagandists.

That bleak assessment won’t make much difference to pollsters. They privately understand what their real mission has become and why they are no longer scientific prognosticators.

A commenter at another post has an explanation of both the wildly incorrect polling and the weirdly inert campaigning of Mr. Biden.
The second is simple, and Mr. Kimball is not the only one making the connection.
The commenter connects the rest of the dots.
    https://amgreatness.com/2020/11/05/sleepy-campaign-strategy-mystery-solved/#comment-78017

Kimball: Trump was a dynamo, sitting for interviews, holding press conferences, participating in an ever-increasing series of rallies across the country.

Joe Biden, by contrast, rarely left his basement and when he did it was to address 10 or 15 carefully screened supporters or pundits who were coached about what they could say. Even Biden’s supporters, the innocent ones, marked the difference and were concerned. How could their candidate win when he basically refused to campaign?

    We now know the answer.

Biden didn’t really campaign because he—or at least his handlers—knew the fix was in. They knew that compliant polls would cook the numbers to show that Biden was 10, 15, or even 17 points ahead nationally and in all the battleground states even though he was more or less tied or even behind. The psychological, which means the political effect of that, was to insinuate an element of unreality into the whole campaign and to present the public, and the pundits who were there to spoonfeed them, with a false narrative about the performance and therefore the prospects of the two candidates.

The democrats let the pollsters in on their secret that they had rounded up enough ballots before the the election to swamp Trump’s numbers in 2016 in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The pollsters looked at the Democrat data and agreed that there was no way Trump could drive enough turnout to match what the Democrats had already achieved. So they predicted, dutifully, a Biden blowout. However, the Trump team worked like dogs and did match the Democrat turnout, see Wisconsin. Surprise, surprise, surprise.

If this is the case, then the surprise may be why the fraud is so blatant: they really didn’t think they would need it.

And there was another of those pesky gaffes, as when Biden claimed to have the best voter fraud organization.

Biden LITERALLY said to the people at his last appearance in PA before election day ” I don’t need your votes to win.” I mean, the guy is such a fool he actually said that.

No post-election analysis is complete without a conspiracy theory; however, this is 2020, so all conspiracies must be considered guilty until proven innocent.

    Mimi11/5/20 at 10:34 pm
We will be hearing more about this as the conflict gets into court. CIA involvement according to Sydney Powell, (Michael Flynn’s attorney) a guy by the name of Tom McNeirney (?) (software developer) and a retired Air Force General have said the CIA was using their same software skills that they have used in foreign elections where they have wanted to tilt the outcome. Apparently the software has the capacity to change the vote count by as much as 3%, and Obama actually tried it here first in Florida in 2012.

  48. Conspiracists aesop. Conspiracies to do evil need conspirators to conspire. You really need to read ether 8 and secret combinations.

  49. More shenanigans from Pennsylvania.
    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/11/05/report-democrat-pa-officials-privately-feeding-biden-campaign-his-potential-margin-of-victory/

Democrat officials in Pennsylvania are “privately” speaking to the Biden campaign about potential margins of victory for the former vice president in the battleground state as counting remains underway, according to reports.

Three days before the election, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro (D) proclaimed that “if all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose.” On Election Day, he encouraged voters to seek help from Democrats, specifically:

Need help with your mail in ballot, finding out where to vote, or something else?

Call the @PADems Voter Assistance Hotline. Someone will answer and help you out. Call 1-833-PA-VOTES pic.twitter.com/Jf9KfLtNRI

    — Josh Shapiro (@JoshShapiroPA) November 3, 2020

BTW: the reason Trump is now expected to lose Pennsylvania is that estimated vote-by-mail totals have risen sharply since Election Day.

The estimate then was 2.5 million ballots. Two days later, it’s almost 2.9 million.

That’s the difference between a Trump and a Biden win.

A spokesperson for the state’s high court quickly quashed the rumor that it had overruled the lower ruling [allowing GOP poll watchers to actually watch the counting]. While the spokesperson denied that a filing had been made, minutes later, they said a filing had been made:

Minutes later however, they say: “Just filed in COMMONWEALTH COURT – on background – this is a request for an appeal to our Supreme Court – discretionary order. The Court will review the request to allow/deny the appeal.”

Thank you – I couldn’t quite grasp the noun I needed.
And I have pondered the message Ether and the combinations quite often in the last 4 years.

  51. Are you hesitant to quote them to gentiles here online?

This is why people find romney creepy, because there are a lot of things only discussed inside lds traditions and cultures.

Like that binder thing, relief society, etc.

They are not like ymar. I do not care who i am talking to or who they think they are.

I know more about x religious traditions than the faithful. I talk about cathlicism a lot. Protestants call me anti god. Vigano thinks like ymar, my trump card

  52. Andy McCarthy is a good journalist but he’s also a creature of the system inside-the-beltway, and I find that, although he has good insights to offer, he subconsciously rises to the defense of the system rather than confront its flaws and risk seeing it disrupted.

The media, formerly the Fourth Estate, has become the Fifth Column. Without its manifest, implacable rage toward Trump and its determination to see him destroyed, none of the fraud on this scale would have been possible; now it has been facilitated and hidden from view. The greatest labor-saving device ever harnessed by a political party.

  53. McCarthy is pretty sure Biden will win since gov’t election fraud, even when it happens, is so hard to prove by the gov’t, against the gov’t. I believe Biden cheated to win, but the courts will accept the verdict of the states, so that Trump loses.

Time for peaceful demonstrations against gov’t cheating in elections.
    https://americanmind.org/salvo/the-fight-is-now/

ASKblog also wants cheat-victims to “Get over it.” My longer comment is there:
    http://www.arnoldkling.com/blog/banana-republic-watch/

“…The ease and convenience of e-voting, and mail-in voting without even the hassle of absentee voting pre-registration, means it’s much easier to vote AND much easier for the gov’t to commit fraud. ”

When it’s super easy to vote, more voters do so – but such a system makes cheating much easier, too. Too easy.

The Dems will try to make these easy-to-cheat policies permanent, so it’s always easy for them to cheat and win.

Tom DeMeo argues ” Trump’s usefulness to his own causes has been exhausted.”
I disagree, but if the courts accept the cheating victory of Biden, that would make Trump the unfair victim of cheating.

Martyrs are valuable for all moral causes, and against cheating.

“Demonstrations now would be part of the preparation for Yuuuge 2022 Rep wins in the House, plus constant joking about how the Dems support cheating.”

To all who have friends or family who voted Dem, more Reps need to be Morally Superior:
“You voted for the Party of cheating and corruption”
“You know Biden cheated, you’re not that stupid”
“You know Biden is corrupt, you’re not that stupid”
“You know the Dems are against fixing the voting system because they always want to cheat”
“You knew the FBI was lying about the Russian hoax, you’re not that stupid”

… “You’re just willing to accept cheating in order to win”.

  54. Trump’s current strategy is correct.

This is not the time for resignation, lamentations and wringing of hands.

This is the time to fight: fight for a fair election, fight for the senate, fight for the house, fight for Chauvin, Rolfe, Rittenhouse and all the cops who the left is trying to railroad (lynch). Time to fight for Michael Flynn, Time to organize for 2022 and 2024.

The left took a gut punch in this election. Keep on fighting !

  55. “The Dems want crappy voting so they can cheat and offer “plausible deniability”.”

Yeah, well I want the dems pushing up daisies.

  56. “More shenanigans from Pennsylvania.” AesopFan

“Democrat officials in Pennsylvania are “privately” speaking to the Biden campaign about potential margins of victory for the former vice president in the battleground state as counting remains underway, according to reports.”

It seems like they have used that strategy in other states as well. Georgia quickly comes to mind.

  57. Block chain tech takes care of verification and anon vote. Usa elections are less secure than debit cards. Even penny stocks have less scams in comparison.

Usa is in shock, grief, pain. This is historic. True humility nears. Expect nov 12 to 20th

I got this. Trump won the vote and truth will out.

  58. MollyG and Dave,

One of the easiest ways to commit fraud would be to simply not tally votes for one candidate, or destroy ballots that have a vote for that candidate. Plenty of people don’t vote for every race, so even if there is a tally of votes cast it wouldn’t have to match the total in each race.

This is part of the reason why I have never registered to vote in a primary. I don’t want to be identified as a member of a party. Too easy for a nefarious operator to target my vote for destruction. Even easier with mail in. Just take all mail in votes coming from an address that matches Republican or Democrat primary voter roles and ditch them in the dumpster.

  59. Feckless establishment Republicans have sat on their hands through this whole election fiasco, making it clear that half of the country has no effective representation in Washington DC.

It Biden wins this one, the blatant ballot stuffing techniques that dragged him over the finish line will become SOP nationwide.

The remaining Republicans in Congress and the Senate will be obliterated in two years.

One bright side I can see is a Soviet Union style collapse brought about by incompetent ideologues running the system into the ground.

But only after they have stolen everything that wasn’t bolted down.

But then there’s the potential of a genuine, non-violent response.

Suppose that if Biden election fraud triumphs, every Trump voter just called in sick with the COVID cooties and stayed home for a couple weeks.

The groundwork for that excuse has already been laid.

There is no way an employer can fire someone for responsibly social distancing.

No marches. No rallies. No demonstrations. Not a peep.

Just everyone going completely John Galt as normal commerce grinds to a halt, the truck stop rolling, the store shelves empty and the lights go out.

The MSM and the Deep State establishment has been prepping the nation for armies of heavily armed Trumpkins taking to the streets.

    Why give them that target?

Welcome to the outside of the box.

  60. @ El Polacko: The only elected Republican I’m aware of who is contesting the ballots is Cruz, though that’s only been on twitter which I haven’t been checking other (R)s twitter pages.

  61. No.
“The remaining Republicans in Congress and the Senate will be obliterated in two years.” I don’t think so.

My (conspiracy??) theory is that the FBI/CIA (Powers that be) elite DC folk have “allowed” the current Rep winners to win, while stomping on Trump.
    Personally.
The deal is: ‘Let us wipe out Trump and you can get elected – but only pretend outrage will be allowed, no indictments.’
This is why Trump loses, but most Reps who win, do win.

Most elite Reps will take this deal.
