Iran was not only close to fissionable nukes, but prepping to out “arms race” to deliver them. At least that’s my inference from her notice that Iran aimed to make 100 ballistic missiles per month.
“Negotiations” wee just a delaying tactic for the Mad Theocrats.
The first time you hear a bald eagle is surprising to some. Certainly was to me. In media they are usually dubbed over with red-tailed hawk calls and have been for decades, so not what people are led to expect. They are very high pitched and sound a bit like quik-quik or chicken clucking or sea gulls. They are quite loud, which is the only thing about their calls that indicates it might come from such a large bird.
In Alaska they are like pigeons. One soaring majestically above a canyon is an impressive sight. Fifty of them standing around hoping you drop fish guts is a very different impression.
We need a bunch of those lyrebirds, train ’em to mimic bomb blasts, turn ’em lose in Iran.
Their military abandons posts in fear, good guys rush in, no casualties.

My fourth grade teacher was a Skeksis? Who knew.
