Quite a day
Nothing serious, but …
My car is still not working. Long boring story.
The blog went down just as I had finished writing a post and was in the act of publishing it.
I couldn’t log into the host – that was a first.
I was put on a longish hold when I called the host. But then voila, the customer service person actually fixed the problem. Success!
And then I noticed that comments suddenly weren’t working. Another call to the host, and fortunately another fix. So far.
I think I’m going to take a walk now. It’s actually a beautiful day, although cold.

Ah, I did get a couple of those “too many requests” notices, when I hadn’t done anything. Good to know it wasn’t me. Have nice relaxing walk!
Me too on the “excessive requests”.
Car problems are a drag. I had a required smog check notice sitting on my table for nearly a month recently, and when I tried to take care of it, … trouble. It’s my fun car, and something of a garage queen. It wouldn’t start, as the battery was old and I let it sit too long. Two days of irritation …, and then I had the smog check certified and a new battery. Uhg.
Hopefully tomorrow everything turns around for you Neo
There may be photos to come?
So is this next up for you, a talk with a Customer Service person in India, or worse, AI.
I truly hate AI CS.
Taking a walk is always a good idea.
Except when you “Take a walk on the wild side” ?
Here is a link to “Take A Walk On the Wild Side”. Lou Reed

Boomers
There were a ot of sites down yesterday. PayPal, X.com, Microsoft’s Outlook and Hotmail, Comcast among others. Also, MY own ISP, CenturLink was down from noon until the next morning!
Just so you know.
Glad you are enjoying the winter weather, Neo!
