Bill Clinton refuses to testify before Congress — 8 Comments

  1. So no one is above the Law. Didn’t Hill say that often?
I just wish epstein would just go away

  2. The Epstein issue is like a honey pot for bees. It’s just too tempting for those who want to score political points.

Both sides want to smear the others with accusations of cavorting with Epstein on Orgy Island. The victims have all had their days in court. Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell were both indicted and found guilty of wrongdoing. (Albeit Epstein got off the second time by dying.)

It’s a sordid story but muckrakers cannot get enough of it. There is much more important business for the Congress. Like producing a real budget and spending plan in regular order.

  3. Hillary won’t show up either in my bet.
Both know they will be well protected by the Democrats Propaganda Ministry and fellow Democrat/ Marxists

  4. “Both sides want to…”

As I recall, Trump wanted to shelve it all claiming there was nothing there.

    (Of course it’s also possible I’m misremembering…)

Hey fellas, it was all a mistake…a mistake I tell ya’…hey would I lie to you?
    Aw c’mon, everyone makes mistakes…

  5. “As I recall, Trump wanted to shelve it all claiming there was nothing there.” Barry M.

Your recollection is correct as to Trump. It’s Comer and other Repubs in the Congress who can’t resist the chance to embarrass some Dems like the Clintons. Not that Bill and Hil haven’t done enough to embarrass themselves. Unfortunately, this circus is probably going to continue.

  6. Contempt of Congress hasn’t meant much lately, but IIRC it potentially can carry a year in prison. But the executive branch would have to enforce it in practice.

  7. Chris Plante played a clip on his radio show without explanation, as he went to a commercial break, of Bill Clinton saying “…we need to make America great again.” Gave me a laugh.

  8. when the demonkrats issued contempt citations to several of Trump’s supporters, they then sentenced them to jail time.

Let me take a wild guess; the republicans will issue contempt citations to the Clintons, and nothing at all will happen to them.

The Clinton’s know this; everybody knows this.
