She did as well with the assignment as anyone could have. But it’s still too narrow:

Victor Davis Hanson is undergoing very serious surgery this morning at (I believe) Stanford Medical Center. JMO but he is one of the clearest thinkers out there these days. I just watched him 2 days ago explaining why Tucker Carlson was wrong re his latest pronouncements especially re the Jewish/Islamic rantings. In typical VDH fashion he methodically dismantled TC statement by statement. But he was not mean about it. Like me he was puzzled and saddened by what has happened to the TC of the last year and a half.
Thoughts and prayers.
chazzand, TC “change” started many yrs ago while he was still on FOX.
She has maximized what she had to work with. I would not like it myself. My only real quibble is the Shower. No curtain, no closure, so water all over the floor. I know, because it seems to be very common in a lot of the hotels I have stayed in. That or a shower in the tub, which is a death trap
Shirehome: I don’t understand your paragraph below the TC comment. Please clarify.
We seem to have conflated Dr. Hansen’s medical issues, Tucker Carlson’s decline and the most claustrophibic-inducing living space I can imagine into a single string of comments. You find the common thread and win a prize! Only here at Chez Neo-neo. Happy New Year (soon enough) to all.
chazzand– I think that was a two-parter: First the TC stuff, and then the video, the “she” being the person who built that house.
I have no inside information, so I might be wrong and Shirehome just outed TC.
Happy New Year… have fun tomorrow night but be careful.
Building codes and fire codes have a 7ft minimum room width in most places.
“The minimum width is designed to prevent long, narrow, and impractical spaces that could hinder emergency response and evacuation.”
The architect, Gemma Wheeler, is based in Scotland.
chazzand, I was saying that TC has been a fool and knave for a very long time. His anti-semitism was glaring long before he left FOX, and he is an Isolationist.
Yes, second par was comment on the video
Apologies, I seem to be the only one who cares, but I find the dissolution of former Minneapolis Star Tribune columnist James Lileks’ marriage a story I can’t avert my attention from. Today we learned that his daughter spent Christmas with him in England (although I had already guessed this would be the case). And last month we learned he spent Thanksgiving with her and many of his wife’s family in Boston. Yet, his wife was in neither place. It is very curious that their only child would spend both holidays solely with her father, especially so soon after her mother asked for a divorce. In his writings since announcing that his wife wrote him a letter asking for a divorce I have not seen any mention of his daughter traveling to see her mother.
Abandonment it seems, but not by the father.
If anyone hears news of Victor Davis Hanson’s surgery and, I hope, success, please post.
I’m not seeing a concise statement of what Dr. Hanson’s issue is. From his remarks, it would appear to be throat cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, or cancer elsewhere in the GI tract.
I think he hasn’t issued a concise statement. Perhaps he hopes for some privacy about his internal matters.

I’m happy to grant it to him. A more efficient pathway to privacy would have been to abstain from an announcement.

I haven’t seen his wife’s side of the story anywhere, and it would be too much, I think, to expect him to present it.
I greatly admire Victor Davis Hanson. My thoughts and prayers with him and his family.
Some good news from the MSM for a change:
“…This CBS News Reporter DID NOT Drink the Kool-Aid Regarding This Story About the Supreme Court.”— https://instapundit.com/765607/
Regarding this thin apartment, is the resident’s height more or less than the width of the place? It seems to me that that could matter in some situations.

It’s CBS.
Might that NOT be a coincidence?

I like the narrow apartment very much.
