Unfortunately, Professor Victor Davis Hanson hits the nail on the head, and it ain’t good.*
RE: The story about California above, it’s almost as if many on the Left, who are in positions of power, are trying to shove us back into a new Dark Age.
With a deep knowledge of ancient history–and it’s lessons–VDH is very well positioned to see and to recognize the signs of possible social, economic, and cultural decline i.e. the decline of Western civilization.
I got a couple laughs this morning as the talk radio host featured Demoncrats melting down over Trump adding his name to the Kennedy Center. Expatriate (good!) Rosie O’Donnell sounded like she could hardly speak, due to rage. She wouldn’t mention Trump’s name, but referred to him as “it” and a “nameless blob of negative energy.”
Maybe I shouldn’t laugh at a person with mental problems, but her brightening my day shows that she does have some value.
I think the “Kennedy Center” was begun in the Eisenhower years as a national cultural center. Perhaps some future president will change the name to that, or to the Eisenhower Center. This would be if it stays up that long; it doesn’t look like it’s a building designed to last physically.
That California Land Equity Task Force (first comment above) sounds like Newsom’s effort to turn California’s interior into Zimbabwe.
Trump should rename it for Mary Jo Kopechne, just for the laffs.

I found that “Jesus came for a cuppa & a recording session” quite amusing.
What’s really telling is Paul doesn’t share what they chatted about. Could be that’s why he’s “never seen him since.” Probably not an uncommon occurrence in all human history.
