This 67-year-old man is going to prison — 15 Comments

  1. NOTE: Meanwhile, also in NYC, this lady skates because her case was initially assigned by Bragg’s office to a student, and then botched:
    ________
Doesn’t “botched” usually imply it was unintended? I doubt that here.

  2. Eeyore (Is, Eum):

The botching may have been unintentional. It was only a misdemeanor charge and it was apparently given to some sort of student-lawyer. Long ago, I had some cases when I was a student-lawyer, and I lived in terror of botching them, which was an ever-looming possibility.

  3. Are there any Democrats in the prosecutor trade or in the judge trade who aren’t malicious frauds?

  4. Beyond a certain level of unidirectional incompetence, malice aforethought is the better answer.

  5. Are there any Democrats in the prosecutor trade or in the judge trade who aren’t malicious frauds?

    No.

  6. My ancestors built Kew Gardens. Back then you could defend yourself. Not today.

Muslims will be free to murder Jews under Mamdani. He won’t lift a finger any more than that P.O.S Sadiq Khan does in London.

“Charles Foehner, 67, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal weapons possession Thursday in a deal to end his case more than two years after he fatally shot would-be thief Cody Gonzalez, who charged at him near his Kew Gardens home.”

  7. If the FPC wanted a case to challenge NYC gun permit requirement in light of Bruen, Foehner’s case would have been an excellent one, had he not plead guilty.

  8. I hope that the remaining good people of NYC will be safe, but they should get out. Judging by repeated election results, the majority of their neighbors are scumbags and I have not sympathy for them at all.
