Did you ever have one of those days …
… when you keep trying to get to work, but distractions pile up? The phone keeps ringing with things you need to tend to, and each task takes longer than you think it will?
That’s today for me so far. Posts will be forthcoming, but I can’t believe how late it is already.

I am having one of those lives.
Me too, Mr. Firefly.
Neo, your problem actually is very important. Recalling someone without that problem:
I remember my professor. He had many responsibilities, but they were almost all w/i his self-constrained work area. I think he had a broader, albeit self-constrained, life at home, but at work he worked.
I remember asking him something about politics. He said, “___, I could not care less.” I never brought up politics again. And on work matters, he made it very clear when a discussion was done.
Chill Neo. As my millennial daughters would say. We’ll survive with minimal, or no posts from you
I have that sort of life now. Ten years ago, I had a grip on things and a lot more energy. (IIRC) Also, I could see.
These days, I’m busy, busy, busy and not getting much done. It seems like about three weeks ago that I uncovered the patio furniture for summer use. Yesterday, I covered it for the winter. What harpooned to summer?
I used to read and comment on several blogs. Now, I’m down to Neo’s place.
Today, I raked leaves, a job I used to do in an hour or so. Now, two plus hours and I am worn out.
Age happens. Also, technology has allowed many more people to vie for your attention/money.
That said, it’s much preferable to the alternative.
It’s the way of the world.
