Things continue to deteriorate for California gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter. In what appears to be a coordinated opposition research drop, and a well-deserved one at that, the Democrat has faced multiple leaked videos showing her less-than-stellar temperament.

As RedState reported, she recently blew up on a local reporter, ending the interview and chastizing her for asking follow-up questions. Shortly after that clip went viral, another video emerged of Porter cussing out one of her staffers for being “in her shot.”

The moral of the story is that you’re overwhelmingly obnoxious as well as abusive to your staffers, they may extract revenge by leaking some stuff that reveals exactly how dreadful you are. That appears to be what’s happening to Porter. Never mind opposition research leaks; her opposition is her own ex-staff – or perhaps her present staff?

Here’s the interview with the local reporter, in case you haven’t watched it. Porter is imperious and seems to believe no follow-up questions should be asked of her:

  5. Best comment I saw on X was someone remarking on how much her staff must hate her because they gave the green light her interview with the reporter with that lighting and camera angle.

  7. I was still living in Orange County CA when Porter was elected. She’s a clownish, cartoon-like character who obviously has no sense of self awareness.

    Not that long ago Orange County was synonymous with political conservatism. The district that Porter represented has shifted left in recent years, I believe the result of the south county having a large population of AWFLs, as well as Chinese and Indian (dot, not feather) immigrants who also lean left.

  8. yes, but…. who is making sure the videos make all the rounds? Sundance thinks it has all the earmarks of a Nancy Pelosi hit piece, and it’s not hard to rationalize this as a pre-primary housecleaning.

  13. Marlene, I don’t know their ages. She was married in 2003 and divorced in 2013. The oldest might be 20 or so and the others in their late teens, at a guess. She had sole custody of the children following the divorce; the father lives out of state. Poor kids.

  14. You could readily tell if the orders to go after her come from the dem party if the amount of time covering this in the past week in the msm was allowed to be more than the 63 seconds total on all networks (to quote a poster in the previous thread) devoted to covering the Jones comments

    (I’m recalling here one of the books on the Kennedy assassination composed by a Secret Service agent among those who conducted the initial investigation. He had a number of interesting opinions. One of them concerned how different were the trajectories in life of Marguerite Oswald’s three sons. His opinion was that Oswald’s brothers had more time in institutional care and less time with their mother).

  18. Democrat voters will always vote for the democrat regardless of how sleazy, dishonest, malevolent, violent, immoral, disgusting, evil, criminal, incompetent…….they are.

    And the media will more or less just minimize , cover up or totally ignore any words or deeds that their puppet masters demand.

  20. I prefer not to go down into the mud criticizing people for their looks, but … Porter really looks trans to me.
