Spambot of the day
I must say that the quality of spambots has gone down quite a bit lately – although this one paints a picture worthy of Bruegel:
Peasant women, their husband and riff-raff of all sort, all singing and all more or less drunk.

Looks and sounds a bit jollier than Neo’s Place!
My high school reunion?
Wait a minute… husband, singular? This is a polygamous environment being described? Shocking.
What is this bot saying? Is it commenting upon us?! But we aren’t all singing, alas, neither are all of us in the inebriation. At least not all at the same time.
It reminds me of not only Brueghel classics, but of a wall painting above the bar in an old building in Calumet, Michigan. I had dinner at that bar once.

“However, this balance of US$25,000, 000.00 has been secured in form of Credit/Payment to a foreign contractor, hence we wish to transfer into your bank account as the beneficiary of the fund.”
Sound familiar?

Pretty funny.
@ Neo in re Maria: “I Quit My Office Job and Found Freedom Online”
I’m sure you have seen her frequent comments on nearly every thread; are you keeping them for lulz?
fullmoon’s link to the scambaiter was long but hilarious; I just skimmed the “emails” after the first page. The Nigerian Prince either had a lot more patience than seems credible, or both sides of the exchange are part of the satire.
Anyone else just realize that a spambot would make a better Prime Minister than Starmer?
