Speech as incitement — 29 Comments

  1. I’ve been taking flak over it, but I’ve been saying for a while now that most people on the right have no idea how much the left hates them.

They don’t just disagree with you. They don’t just want different policies. They want to destroy you and everything you hold dear, and they will gladly kill you if they have to.

The sooner the right comes to grips with that the better.

  2. The Manson murders aren’t supposed to be an instruction manual.

I first caught this Destiny character on the JD Delay video I mentioned in Open Thread.

So, has Cenk Uygur put any daylight between himself and his nephew? Someone should ask him.

I can never watch this blowhard, Cenk, for than a few minutes. Oh, he’s got a JD from Columbia.

  3. I’ve been taking flak over it, but I’ve been saying for a while now that most people on the right have no idea how much the left hates them.

    mkent:

I gave you flak for your condescending notion that we poor lambs don’t know that.

  4. Cenk Uygur’s nephew, Hasan Piker, is actually promoting violence of the worst kind. All based on envy and politics – a heady brew. IMO, this speech is akin to crying FIRE in a crowded theatre. It’s likely to lead to unnecessary violence and death.

These are the words of a person calling for a bloody revolution in no uncertain terms. Calling for killing property owners is a commie rallying cry and should be called out as such. His “hate speech” is truly that. I aver he would not say such words to the face of any person that would be ready to defend their rigjht own property.

Reading his words makes my blood boil. They’re fighting words, and I, even in my dotage, am ready to fight an SOB like him.

  5. AOC just slimed Charlie on the House Floor. She is protected while on the Floor, and it seems because of 4 Rep House Members, she could repeat it outside the House and not face any official repercussions.

  6. I’m getting quite an education this week on the depravity of the leftist internet. Ace’s examples are horrifying. There are indications that Charlie Kirk’s assassin was involved in “furry” porn and pedophilia (things of which I had no previous knowledge). I suppose we’ve always had very sick individuals among us. They are finding examples and encouragement online.

  7. Criminal solicitation has long been a crime in New York. It’s not treated harshly by the law, but it is a crime.

    Kate:

Not just Tyler, but Taylor … Taylor Swift that is.

Here’s the video of her 2012 breakout single.

–Taylor Swift, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”

It’s poppy and fun, but why is her band all dressed in furry costumes? Not sure I wanna know.

She started out as a country singer.

Those on the right that have been paying attention are well aware of how much the activist committed leftists hate them. What few of us were aware of is how extensive and widespread the activist hard core leftist networks have become and how deep the left’s ideology has entrenched itself among the young.

That’s coming to light and the left’s celebration of murder reveals just how deranged they’ve become. One way or another, it will not end well for them.

  10. Remember when Carr said that the FCC did not have a license to censor? Neo doesn’t. She has a new chant: “Four legs good. Two legs better!”

  11. Huxley, I won’t watch a Taylor Swift video, not even for you.

    Kate:

Not required. If people want to click my links, that’s great. Otherwise I’m letting them know they can check my sources.

But Taylor Swift is so dreamy! 🙂

  12. … the left’s celebration of murder reveals just how deranged they’ve become.

    Geoffrey Britain:

    Isn’t it wonderful?

Not even Trump could have planned this. But he sure knows how to take advantage.

  13. Yet another reason to arm yourself. If you are a first time owner, get instructions, take lessons and practice. And then practice some more.

  14. Thanks for the Taylor Swift link, huxley. I’m so out of touch, I didn’t know any of her songs till now. From still pictures, I thought she was not good looking, but wears sexy costumes. Now I see she has the whole package: singing, songwriting, dancing, looks! I also see why I think most of her fans are tween to young teen girls. Yes, the furries were creepy.

Come on Kate, it won’t kill you!

  15. Enjoy watching Taylor Swift, guys. I was mostly kidding, but I seldom watch YouTube clips — of anybody.

  16. We first heard of Taylor Swift about 15 years ago when a youth in our circle was taken with her (after previously preferring Avril Lavigne). Recently, we turned on a Youtube of her to see what the fuss was about; we turned it off after two minutes.

She’s 35 and she’s got a billion dollars in the bank. She can afford to reduce her touring schedule. She may have two babies left in her.

  17. Cenk Uygur is a vile and disgusting individual. If his nephew is worse than Cenk, I hope that I never see or hear him.

  18. Demonizing opponents is putting Marxists on the warpath. Look back at Covid, anyone not going with their program was shutdown as much as they could do, loss of employment, not permitted to enter buildings or even medical care just for not getting the Fake Vax.
They would love to be in power and the Gulags opened hete.

  19. I think having things not to worry about is just as important as having worries. So, I’m not going to worry about Taylor Swift and “Furries”.

  20. Back around 2018 I was wondering how Democrats would react when they realized Russia collusion was made up. Turns out they were fine with it, anything to gain power. And of course they are fine with killing as well.

  21. At this point in time I would frankly regard y81 as a remorseless troll as well as an idiot and a hypocrite worthy of nothing more than being banned. Apparently still remorseless about peddling the bullshit “real economist” who I was able to blast huge holes in, or claiming that opposing left wing academic hegemony and political persecution was a retreat from meritocracy. I am still debating going to the woodshed over his idiotic comments about Israel and “historical knowledge”, but I am not sure it is worth dealing with.

It is shame to see brain rot change a previously legit commenter, but by our fruits we are known.

  22. Turtler:

Yes, it’s a dilemma when it’s a commenter with a long history who then starts trolling. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt for quite a while.

  23. “Cenk Uygur is a vile and disgusting individual. If his nephew is worse than Cenk, I hope that I never see or hear him.”

His nephew got his start on the Young Turks as an intern, then he got promoted to host and producer.

There is zero chance Cenk wasn’t aware of his views, and his existence makes me doubt the authenticity of Cenk’s reformation of his public character.

  24. So, I’m not going to worry about Taylor Swift
