What the press calls “far-right” parties are growing in Europe’s most populous countries — 19 Comments

  1. People, once they’ve realized they’ve been had, tend to dislike being conned. And the longer they’ve been conned, the angrier they become.

  2. I like that Unwilln’ Barkis. I’d follow up with something like, and then they will

    strike down with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy their brothers.

  3. Populist is an accurate descriptor. “Far-right” an attempt to ascribe ‘resistance to the fascist minded’, so as to deflect from the grim reality that a ruling establishment of leftists is intent upon maintaining its grip on tyranny. Never have so many deserved a trip to the gallows.

  4. “Leaders in all three countries are grappling with an ascendant far right “. Said leaders are not leading; they are tyrannical. In Germany the AfD party has been neutered by the “leaders”. These “leaders” are anti-people, anti-populist.

  5. It’s already too late for Europe. The Islamic population bomb fuse has been lit and nobody will stop it.

  6. The post Neo linked from the WSJ (via MSN) had a pretty comprehensive view of the situation among the political parties, despite using the far-right pejorative and other biased narratives, but I didn’t see anything mentioned concerning the problems high-lighted in Neo’s earlier post about the arrest of the UK comedian: that the police, and most of the judiciary I presume, concentrate more effort and resources in arresting upset citizens and suppressing “hate speech” than they do in apprehending and jailing actual, even violent, criminals.*

    That observation is relative to the immigration protests that are the main topic of the news story because it describes the same priorities of harassing, arresting, and punishing the people upset about the very real problems caused by the importation of vast numbers of un-assimilating people, many of whom are criminals, and many of whom are not even illegal but are being brought in BY the government.

    Add to that the fact that the immigrants and invaders are receiving welfare and job benefits NOT extended to the citizens (just as they are in the US), and you have a gunpowder keg under the Parliament building, placed there by the Leftists and their allies, waiting for a spark to touch off the fuse.

    Looks, comparing head to shoulders, as if the guy is not very big. But they needed five fully-kitted cops in case a small Scottish girl was nearby,

  7. ‘ Far Right’ is their word game to lable Nazis in another way in their view.
    They been using that for a long time.
    And we wouldn’t want Nazis to take over again now would we?

  8. Before last election, in my city, on a few occasions, I witnessed white women actually scolding and lecturing homeless panhandlers who were wearing trump gear, explaining to them that they were puppets of a fascist nazi who didn’t care about them. Meanwhile, the homeless, in vain, expressed their frustrations about seeing a coddled migrant population who was being provided with free (often luxury) housing, ATM card accounts, and meals prepared for them three times a day while they got nothing. These white women genuinely couldn’t see struggling homeless American citizens of all different colors, just a bunch of “far right extremists”.

  9. Needless to say, America’s Democrats have been operating, and continue to operate, by the same playbook…

    Heeere’s Chicago (followed closely by most large cities run by the Democratic machine):

  10. Gee, what a coinkydink, in Germany 6 “right-wing” AFD candidates die within the space of thirteen days
    ==
    Four candidates and two reserve candidates died. The four candidates were men between the ages of 59 and 72. They were candidates for municipal office. One candidate died in each of four municipalities. The four municipalities have a mean population of 27,000 with none exceeding 50,000. The distance between them averages 48 miles. The state in which they are located has a population of 18 million. Maybe your little green men got them.

  11. The AfD is pro-Israel, more strongly than the other parties in Germany and certainly more than the EU. The partner of party leader Alice Weidel is a woman from Sri Lanka.

    So that’s your “far right neo-Nazis” in Europe 2025 – multicultural lesbian Zionists.

  12. If they continue to block the wishes of the citizenry it could lead to:

    It was not part of their blood,
    It came to them very late
    With long arrears to make good,
    When the English began to hate.

    They were not easily moved,
    They were icy-willing to wait
    Till every count should be proved,
    Ere the English began to hate.

    Their voices were even and low,
    Their eyes were level and straight.
    There was neither sign nor show,
    When the English began to hate.

    It was not preached to the crowd,
    It was not taught by the State.
    No man spoke it aloud,
    When the English began to hate.

    It was not suddenly bred,
    It will not swiftly abate,
    Through the chill years ahead,
    When Time shall count from the date
    That the English began to hate

  13. Six members of the “far fight” party AfD died recently of “natural causes” – Streiff at RedState is skeptical.

    https://redstate.com/streiff/2025/09/03/mystery-abounds-as-six-right-wing-german-candidates-die-of-natural-causes-just-before-an-election-n2193533

    Six candidates for the far-right (by German standards, that means “moderately conservative”) Allianz für Deutschland party have died in recent weeks. Police are saying the deaths are not due to foul play, rather “the deaths were either the result of natural causes or were not being revealed for privacy reasons.”

    Officialdom is pointing out that some 20,000 candidates are standing for election in local elections in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia on September 14 and saying that we should expect some breakage before election day. No explanation has been offered for why no other party has suffered fatalities.

    Despite the police ruling out suspicious circumstances, retired economist Stefan Homburg claimed in a post on X that the number of candidates’ deaths was “statistically almost impossible”. His post was later retweeted by the AfD’s co-leader Alice Weidel, while AfD supporter and billionaire Elon Musk responded to the tweet with an exclamation mark.

    The post contains a helpful glossary of the parties’ political position on the left-right axis.
    CDU=Christian Democrats; conservative in a go-along-get-along kind of way. Imagine Paul Ryan, only German.

    SPD=Socialist Party

    AfD=Populist Right

    Grune=Watermelons, i.e., green on the outside and red on the inside

    Linke=Left, or more socialsist

    FDP=Free Democrats, think of them as country club, good government types

    BSW=Reason and Justice Party, or more socialists

    Sonstige=Literally “The Others,” think of them as Antifa but without the energy

  14. I see a number of very recent CGI music videos about how the native English are going to rise up and defend their families and their native country.

    Actually, I’m surprised that Templar images and themes haven’t yet shown up.

  15. Now comes this report that a seventh AFD candidate has been found dead.*

    I’d like a real statistician to work out the odds of there being seven deaths of candidates of a single party, all dying within a two two week period, and just before upcoming elections.

    What did Goldfinger say, “once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, the third time it’s enemy action.”
