  1. Zohran “The end goal of seizing the means of production.”

    That is so ‘90s… 1890s.

  2. BBB passes senate with vice-president tie breaker. Rand, Thom and Susan vote against. Collins up for re-election next year. Thom drops out and Rand 2028.

Don’t know what is in the bill, we’ll have to pass it to see. Medicaid for illegals kept in, but it could be complicated. To put it in, they may have to overrule the parliamentarian.

  3. RE: Here’s some stupid, cheesy, industrial grade North Korean Propaganda at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQEgjWWjed4

Note all of the robotic clapping by the people in the audience.

I’m sure that if you didn’t show sufficient enthusiasm in your clapping, the secret police would come calling.

  4. A fascinating (if for some, maddening) interview with RFK, Jr.
The part about Trump, at the end of the interview, is remarkable, but not all that new…

“RFK Jr. Unloads Disturbing Vaccine Secrets On Tucker… And Surprises Everyone On Trump”—

    Concluding grafs:

…Kennedy ended the interview with a bang, sharing his genuine thoughts about Trump for three straight minutes. It was one of the standout moments of the entire conversation….

“I had him pegged as a narcissist, when narcissists are incapable of empathy. And he’s one of the most empathetic people that I’ve met,” Kennedy said.

“He’s immensely curious, inquisitive, and immensely knowledgeable. He’s encyclopedic in certain areas that you wouldn’t expect,” he continued.

Kennedy added that Trump genuinely cares about soldiers who go to war, citing how Trump “always talks about the casualties on both sides” of the Russia–Ukraine conflict.

“Whether it’s vaccines or Medicaid or Medicare, he’s always thinking about how this impacts the little guy. And the Democrats have him pegged as a guy who’s sort of sitting in the Cabinet meeting talking about how can we make billionaires richer. He’s the opposite of that. He’s a genuine populist,” Kennedy said.

  5. @ physicsguy >”So glad pride month is over.”

    Time to start “Independence Month”!

  6. PS – I forgot to mention I get a boost from Trump’s positivity, which is not surprising, since he was influenced by Norman Vincent Peale.

  7. Great little poem, but my wife wondered what it meant, then explained she heard “pie”.

I, too, don’t know what is meant by
    June snuck pie,
But it’s a very different poem.

Cherry pie is so hard to make, due to pitting cherries. And it’s kind of to hot for baking a pie. Maybe got last cherries of this season this morning.
