Apologies – I’ve had a mega-busy day today. I’m planning a post or two this evening.
And the dentist told me I need a crown! Those now cost as much as my first car did.

My dentist suggested the same thing for one of my teeth, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. The quoted price was $900, IIRC. He’s a good dentist, so I should probably do it. The other thing I should do is get one of my eyeballs removed. That eye is blind and I suspect I would be more comfortable with it gone, but it is a harder decision. I go ew just thinking about it 🙂
My first car cost $300. This was in the 1970s and it was ten years old.
I’d be thrilled if a crown cost $300 today.
