  1. It was the merry lads who did it. I swear. Those guys. Over there. Theg were just playing. Y’know — upon the greeny grass.

    Fa-la-la-la-la, Fa-la-la-la-la-la Fa-la-la Fa-la.

  2. Spent it in Serbia. Went way to fast. Had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave.

  3. I always scoffed at the saying that the older you get the faster time flies. I don’t scoff at that anymore.

  4. This video is about ten years old. Probably more than a hundred US Marines singing the song ” These are the Days of Elijah” at what was probably a chapel service. I wonder how the part of ” out of Zion’s hill Salvation comes ” ? would go over in some places now? Or the part they really get into where the song says over and over ” There’s no God like Jehovah.”? You Tube so I can’t control the advertising. https://youtu.be/hjZ_IlP9c5A?si=dOn4Ec3Qw1xCWRnQ

  5. Having crossed the date line into June, now it’s time to do this number from Carousel.
Oddly enough, it expresses the same sentiments as “It’s May!” — although a little more discretely, perhaps.

I’m sensing a trend in these old musicals.

  7. Saw and liked that Suchonimus report earlier, om, but not so enamored of the divulging of their methods. Doesn’t comport with common sense to reveal such stuff.
