Liz Cheney gets a medal — 12 Comments

  1. A reminder that Kamala was one of the most despised Washington figures before Biden made her his running mate. And after, her approval rating was 29 percent.

  2. Reward for turning on Trump and Jan6 Ralliers, that’s all it is. And if a pardon doesn’t come with it hopefully she gets a indictment

  3. If these actions by the Biden administration are allowed to stand without severe consequence, it is a certainty that they will be repeated in the next democrat administration. As a lack of severe consequence by evildoers is seen as a sign of weakness and an invitation to renew the oppression.

  4. I (a lawyer from a country not your own) don’t understand why a President gets to pardon offences against Congress, like witness tampering, etc., or why Congress needs to depend on the DOJ to prosecute contempts of Congress. It’s a Court, right?

  5. I hope that Trump pursues this tactic of blanket pardons all the way to the Supreme Court. They are a travesty, if not an abuse of Constitutional authority.
Having said that, I have no confidence that the Supreme Court would even act.

On the subject of SCOTUS, Trump should tell Roberts; “although I assume that your criticism was not directed at me since, unlike the outgoing POTUS,I have not defied any court orders; I suggest that you look to clean your own barnyard before nosing into others by counseling Judges at all levels, including your own, not to routinely overstep their authority by distorting laws or creating some out of whole cloth to further their own prejudices..”

  6. One of the many many things that the 2024 campaign revealed about Kamala Harris is that she has no gift for politics, no intuitive sense of what would appeal to voters, and no ability to carry it out.

Come on, man! Everyone knows it was racism and misogyny that defeated Kamala. 🙂

Telling the Teamsters that she would win with them or without them was not exactly going to win her friends and influence people.

  7. “Mr. Biden is considering blanket preemptive pardons”
How can you pardon somebody for something they haven’t been convicted of?
