More oopsies about job creation under the Biden administration — 12 Comments

  1. Over the last several decades what used to be reasonably reliable and objective government statistics have, more, and more, been manipulated to favor Democrats.

One of the things which the Trump Administration needs to do is to find and fire all of the Federal government employees in the various statistical agencies who have been perverting/cooking the books for the Democrats.

It’s impossible to make good government policy if you can’t rely on statistics to get a true picture of the economic situation, and what the trends are.

  2. The complete and total weaponization of…everything.

(Looks like the Republicans are going to have to engage with the Democrats regarding some sort of domestic SALT treaty…though as Reagan—and others, no doubt—once said, “Trust but verify….”)

  3. Actually it’s better that they do it now, for them, since they won’t be fired immediately for failing to act on the data that is clearly available.
It’s a little better for Trump, since this should be a better baseline.

Also, so many Trump-hating Dem elites have been lying about how good the economy. They based their falsehoods on the false data — but when officials say false stuff, it’s called lying.

Noah Smit (Noahpinion) & Matt Yglesias come to mind as readable Dems who have been wrong in this.

  4. @ Sennacherib > “Were there ANY jobs added?”

Government (mentioned in the Unchained video Neo referenced) and illegals (search “jobs for the illegal immigrants”) are about it.

@ Snow > “It’s impossible to make good government policy if you can’t rely on statistics to get a true picture of the economic situation, and what the trends are.”

Indeed. That comes out in the video also, by inference, as the speaker remarks that it used to be unthinkable to question government statistics (I wonder how much fraud was going on under the table in the past and never disclosed?), and that this was clearly a political manipulation to boost Harris.

Obviously, any cheerful economic posts by the media prior to this revelation are the trash most of us knew they were; we just didn’t have the proof. And a lot of the Fact Checks based on the fake numbers are also disposable.*

This is the important quote however, which Neo’s excerpt omitted:
“Of course left-wing media will blame it all on Trump.”

*Strangely, one generally anti-Trump organization gave a fair response early on.

A later deep-dive by Fact Check also needs to be revised, but presents a good example of the follow-on damage caused by the fraudulent job numbers, which affect analyses and predictions in every economic sector.

And of course you have to wonder if ANY of the government numbers are true.

Will anyone go back and UPDATE any of the now-obsolete posts, or at least append “ignore this” notes?
    Don’t hold your breath.

  5. They’re all cacklers now….

“Don Lemon cackles maniacally in profane rant as he trashes MAGA supporters after visa feud with Elon Musk: ‘Dumb f–king idiots”—

Lemon has been going through a rough period…so I guess cackling is therapeutic…
    Gosh, who knew??

    File under: Primal Cackling….
    – – – – – –
    + Bonus…
And then there’s Decent Joe hoping that Trump might learn some DECENCY from…Jimmah…

    Sigh….

  6. @ Sennacherib > “My word as a Biden!”

Hereafter to be used as an idiom meaning, “I’m lying, you know I’m lying, and I know you know I’m lying, but we’re going to pretend otherwise for the lulz.”
