  1. some things are stranger than fiction, I never knew there was that much sturm and drang behind a simple song, which admittedly I didn’t think much of the monkees,
initially when they ran the tv show in the 80s, but simple things have more purchase now,

  2. Shite. The Pennsylvania Senate race goes to a recount. Send McCormick some $. Hopefully he can use them to get big $$ for more lawyers and recount observers.

  3. McCormick is up by 25,000 votes. Recounts rarely change more than a few hundred votes. But all bets are off when Democrats are running it.

  4. Three links work – today am testing four – A Fourfer:

    1) Damn, Trump mural in the hood

Taggers paint mural for President Trump in the hood.

    2) Migrant father is pro Trump — even if he gets deported

“I want [life] better for my children.”

This had to KILL CNN to air…

Maybe letting illegal aliens in is going to backfire on Democratic party’s long-term plans…

    3) Vivek — How we will cut government – Vivek immediately catches Hannity’s $2-Billion mistake and corrects it to $2-Trillion—“$2-Billion isn’t a big number, but $2-Trillion is Sean.” Vivek (very sharp ‘n smart fellow) had said earlier that “cutting the size of government” will never happen from inside, “it’s going to happen from the outside.”

    4) How bad is it getting in Democrat controlled *BIG* cities? Detroit allows residents to keep chickens, ducks and honeybees

Residents can keep eight chickens and ducks and four honeybee hives. Urban gardens and farms can keep 12 ducks and chickens and up to eight bee hives depending on its size. Roosters are not allowed.

“Roosters are not allowed”!?!?! Sounds sexist to humble me…

  5. Ukraine Believes it Can Build its Own Nuclear Bombs From Spent Fuel Rods in Months – well, if anyone knows what it’s like to live under the Russian ‘Boot’ it would be Ukraine. Don’t actually know what was said and/or agreed upon between America, Ukraine and Russia back when Ukraine was talked out of their NUKES – but Ukraine apparently thought they had some kind of protection guarantee from America. Sure, they were Russian NUKES, but the Ukrainians are smart enough to work around that, and they certainly could use them or their parts now. However:

Ukraine has the resources and expertise to indigenously produce a large quantity of nuclear weapons at short notice if it was forced to do so…
    ***
“Creating a simple atomic bomb, as the United States did within the framework of the Manhattan Project, would not be a difficult task 80 years later”.

Author Yikhak is stated to have reflected: “I was surprised by the reverence the United States has for Russia’s nuclear threat. It may have cost us the war… They treat nuclear weapons as some kind of God. So perhaps it is also time for us to pray to this God.”

Russia rattles their NUKES and America wets its panties. Go for it Ukraine! Russia’s main population areas are all close to Ukraine, and I for one would love to see every Russian east of the Urals dead…hey, sorry, but you should’ve had your wife ‘n kids west of the Urals!

Suspect Ukraine has been working on more than a ‘Toy’ NUKE by now…

  6. except there’s a reason why they call it weapons grade, otherwise Iran would have done it with their stash in many sites except Isfahan, a little too close for confort, now a radiological weapon like a dirty bomb is more feasible, plus the ukrainians keep shelling the lead reactor,

we have been the only country to deploy such weapons, when needed, in the early days we were probably a little cavalier with tactical nukes, carried by infantry,

  7. Ukraine never had any capability to use the Russian nukes on its soil, any more than Italy or Turkey has the ability to use the American nukes on their soil. Tampering with them to try to take them over would have been immediately known, and would have provoked an immediate response.

The reason Ukraine and the other breakaway republics didn’t want them is because they were controlled from Moscow, and the republics didn’t want nukes launched from their soil when they had no say in the decisions leading up to a launch.

  8. Saw this tweet from Wretchardthecat at Sara Hoyt’s last night.

“With this election you can feel an entire world, including Donald Trump, beginning to fade. Some reading this may feel old, not from malaise or fatigue, but from a realization there’s a tomorrow we will not see, though others will.”

Filled me with great sadness. This the last election my mother will see.

I was thinking who the donkeys might put up in 28. I think it will be a woman and Gretchen Whitmer, who is not a crybaby is 5-8 vs AOC, who is a crybaby at 5-4.

Davy Jones dead at 66. Now I wonder if I will even be here in 28.

  9. I read a report that Ukraine had 7 tons of plutonium fuel which could yield several hundred crude bombs with the explosive power about 1/10th the amount of Fatman, which would make it about a 2 kiloton bomb.

Big enough to do significant damage. Would Ukraine use it as a battlefield weapon inside their own country?
Suppose Ukraine could actually develop one that would detonate and used it inside Russia. What would be the reaction of Russia?
