Bill and Hillary and Kamala Harris: do they want her to win?
So Bill Clinton goes to Michigan and speaks to an Arab-American group and essentially tells them that HAMAS F’d up on Oct 7 when they butchered Israelis and he goes on to say that because HAMAS hides behind civilians, it is Hamas’ fault that civilians in Gaza are getting killed.
Don’t know – and don’t care – if his comments will help/hurt the CACKLER, but it’s not that often a demonkrat tells the truth and calls it like it is.
Of course, conservative outlets are claiming (in their stupidity) , that Clinton is just trying to sand bag the CACKLER’S campaign and it’s part of an Obama vs Clinton “war.”
The Clinton’s may not like Obama, but there is no way on earth that they would prefer to see Trump in office.
I can’t say I have the inside track on Clinton mindreading, but I can easily see a way on earth that they would prefer a Trump victory. It’s really rather simple: Hillary was supposed to have been the first woman president. She has nursed a nearly decades-long grievance at having lost to the likes of Trump. In addition, she’s so far the only person that has. Even the cognitively-challenged Biden won, whether by hook or crook or fair and square. So at the moment Hillary bears the distinction of being the first female presidential nominee but failing to win, and being the only person who lost to Trump.
I think you can see where I’m going: if Kamala were to win it would add insult to injury, because Kamala would be the first woman president. And Hillary would remain the only person who ever lost to Trump.
Plus, maybe – just maybe – Bill found anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment a bridge too far. So there’s that, too. I never got the impression that either Bill or Hillary were onboard with Obama’s anti-Israel actions and enabling of Iran, and I recall that Hillary quit her SOS job in the beginning of Obama’s second term. Why? Whether she was forced out or whether it was voluntary, I thought she had some disagreements with Obama’s foreign policy and the main one involved Iran. She was replaced with John Kerry, who was fully onboard.
The Clintons also have a Jewish son-in-law, much like Trump. Trump’s daughter Ivanka converted to Judaism and Chelsea has not – but still, it may be a factor as well.
Hillary, appears to hate Donald Trump more than she is jealous of Kamala Harris.
Should Trump win, Hillary has a guaranteed next 4 years babbling incoherently on various venues hawking her 10th, 27th or 198th book or however many books some people have ghost written for her.
There is an audience of millions of dunces thinking that Hillary has something intelligent to say.
Can you imagine suffering through one page of a Hillary book?
@neo:maybe – just maybe – Bill found anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment a bridge too far. So there’s that, too. I never got the impression that either Bill or Hillary were onboard with Obama’s anti-Israel actions and enabling of Iran…
I agree with you on Bill Clinton. He might be easily duped into “peace process” and I thought he was pretty self-aggrandizing on the Oslo accords but he’s not the kind of guy who would pretend October 7 was anything other than it was.
I think, for the younger generation of Dems and Leftists, Bill Clinton is on thin ice and a potential target for cancellation if there’s anything meaningful to be gained by doing it.
I think that if Hillary can’t have the presidency, Kamala can’t, might be in her thoughts. And while I wasn’t crazy about Bill when he was president, he was always the less radical of the pair, and his positions from that time would be unacceptable in the party today.
Lololololololol!
I have always had the sense that Bill Clinton is completely untethered from any allegiance to or oversight by anyone else that doesn’t benefit him directly.
Hillary is nothing without Bill. Bill clearly had his “needs” met elsewhere.
Bill doesn’t need (maybe even like?) 0bama.
Kamala has nothing to offer Bill, he doesn’t need her either.
She needs him (joke’s on her now).
So Bill’s running around giving his sage homespun aw shucks “support” & probably enjoying the giggles from his crew back stage. He’s getting another 15 minutes & that’s pretty good even if there’s no interns attached.
I had forgotten about Chelsea’s Jewish husband & it could be an important factor.
But the general thrust of the post is a both amusing and dismaying look at the possibility of unbridled narcissism. Forget about the massive and possibly horrendous changes to the nation that are at stake. Let’s focus on how Hillary feels about it. It could easily be accurate. POL (puke out loud).
It’s a mistake to suppose that Democrats are a unified Borg-like entity with no other purpose than “Resistance is futile” conquest.
Politics is a blood sport. Those at the top got there by kneecapping their opponents. They don’t necessarily get along with their peers. In fact they probably don’t.
However, my one question on this score is that if Trump is such a great threat to Democrats and the Deep State, as appears to me, I would expect more solidarity in the face of the Greater Threat.
For instance Elon Musk is on record with Tucker Carlson suggesting that top Dems/Billionaires/Deep State are terrified of a Trump victory and the subsequent release of Epstein’s records (including video footage) of sexual trafficking.

I recall reading that Bill Clinton was furious at the Palis for screwing the peace deal he was trying to do along with Perez (IIRC). Probably cost Bill a Nobel Peace Prize since the precedent had been set with Carter-Begin-Sadat
@Christopher B:Probably cost Bill a Nobel Peace Prize
Not to mention having to see Obama just handed one for showing up.
I do think that if Harris wins there will be a subset of women who is secretly sad it wasn’t them xD
