Bill and Hillary and Kamala Harris: do they want her to win? — 10 Comments

  1. Hillary, appears to hate Donald Trump more than she is jealous of Kamala Harris.

Should Trump win, Hillary has a guaranteed next 4 years babbling incoherently on various venues hawking her 10th, 27th or 198th book or however many books some people have ghost written for her.

There is an audience of millions of dunces thinking that Hillary has something intelligent to say.

Can you imagine suffering through one page of a Hillary book?

  2. @neo:maybe – just maybe – Bill found anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment a bridge too far. So there’s that, too. I never got the impression that either Bill or Hillary were onboard with Obama’s anti-Israel actions and enabling of Iran…

I agree with you on Bill Clinton. He might be easily duped into “peace process” and I thought he was pretty self-aggrandizing on the Oslo accords but he’s not the kind of guy who would pretend October 7 was anything other than it was.

I think, for the younger generation of Dems and Leftists, Bill Clinton is on thin ice and a potential target for cancellation if there’s anything meaningful to be gained by doing it.

  3. I think that if Hillary can’t have the presidency, Kamala can’t, might be in her thoughts. And while I wasn’t crazy about Bill when he was president, he was always the less radical of the pair, and his positions from that time would be unacceptable in the party today.

  4. I have always had the sense that Bill Clinton is completely untethered from any allegiance to or oversight by anyone else that doesn’t benefit him directly.

Hillary is nothing without Bill. Bill clearly had his “needs” met elsewhere.
Bill doesn’t need (maybe even like?) 0bama.
Kamala has nothing to offer Bill, he doesn’t need her either.
She needs him (joke’s on her now).

So Bill’s running around giving his sage homespun aw shucks “support” & probably enjoying the giggles from his crew back stage. He’s getting another 15 minutes & that’s pretty good even if there’s no interns attached.

  5. I had forgotten about Chelsea’s Jewish husband & it could be an important factor.

But the general thrust of the post is a both amusing and dismaying look at the possibility of unbridled narcissism. Forget about the massive and possibly horrendous changes to the nation that are at stake. Let’s focus on how Hillary feels about it. It could easily be accurate. POL (puke out loud).

  6. It’s a mistake to suppose that Democrats are a unified Borg-like entity with no other purpose than “Resistance is futile” conquest.

Politics is a blood sport. Those at the top got there by kneecapping their opponents. They don’t necessarily get along with their peers. In fact they probably don’t.

However, my one question on this score is that if Trump is such a great threat to Democrats and the Deep State, as appears to me, I would expect more solidarity in the face of the Greater Threat.

For instance Elon Musk is on record with Tucker Carlson suggesting that top Dems/Billionaires/Deep State are terrified of a Trump victory and the subsequent release of Epstein’s records (including video footage) of sexual trafficking.

  7. I recall reading that Bill Clinton was furious at the Palis for screwing the peace deal he was trying to do along with Perez (IIRC). Probably cost Bill a Nobel Peace Prize since the precedent had been set with Carter-Begin-Sadat

  8. @Christopher B:Probably cost Bill a Nobel Peace Prize

Not to mention having to see Obama just handed one for showing up.
