Translated: I was powerless as VP, although I would do plenty of things differently than Biden as president, although Biden and I actually did just great. The specific thing I will do so very differently is that I, the heretofore powerless VP, will be even better than Biden.
“Even better than Biden!” That should have been Harris’ campaign slogan.
Speaking of Biden, he’s been extending the escalating trajectory of Democrat demonization of those with the audacity to support the right. First we had the condescending Obama’s “bitter clingers,” which then segued into Hillary’s basket of “deplorables,” which has morphed almost seamlessly into Kamala’s “fascists” and now Uncle Joe’s “garbage.” Hey, why not? It’s another oxymoron: We, the Democrats, the party of unity and civility, call you, our opponents, the evil and wretched scum of the earth.
NOTE: Speaking of which, I just noticed that Arnold Schwarzenegger has said he’ll be voting for Harris/Walz in the interests – get this – of bringing us all together and an end to division, insults, and anger.

Despite that, the Terminator star, 77, said that it’s time for the country ‘to move forward,’ and that ‘the only way to do that is with Harris and Walz.’
‘We need to close the door on this chapter of American history, and I know that former President Trump won’t do that,’ Schwarzenegger said.
‘He will divide, he will insult, he will find new ways to be more un-American than he already has been, and we, the people, will get nothing but more anger.’
Schwarzenegger is certainly one reason not to trust politicians.
Guess we know now it wasn’t Harris pulling the Puppet strings.

The absolute gall to stand there and say he didn’t say that when everyone can listen that he actually did is just astounding. I’m shocked the press corp didn’t just walk out at such a blatant lie. Trump seems like a very unifying figure right now — working at a McDonald’s and riding in a garbage truck to his rally. The fear seems ridiculous. In his way, Trump is bringing us together. I hope he doesn’t manage to mess things up if he’s elected.
Joe Biden is, I’m sure, furious that he has been shunted aside, and it seems to me that he is doing everything he can to “step on her message,” and to sabotage Kamala’s run for the Presidency.
For instance, there was his statement of a few days ago that Kamala–who has been trying to pretend that there was some distance between herself and ol’ Joe–was intimately involved in every decision, and everything that the Biden Administration has been doing.
The most recent example Biden’s “garbage” comment, made at the same time that Harris was outside the White House, a few hundred feet away, trying to deliver her “closing message.”
I seriously think we can, by now, dispense with the “oxy” part.

We won too. But then Arnie found it problematic as a Republican CA Governor to be unpopular with his Hollywood friends. Plus the Shriver connection.
Imagine that you have climbed one of the most exclusive pyramids in human history — Hollywood.
How eager would you be to risk that level of adulation?
If VP Harris takes unscreened questions from the press, someone should ask “If you are defeated at the polls, will you accept the results, and tell your supporters to do the same?”
