Ohio voting fraud
Here’s a disturbing although unsurprising situation:
Election integrity issues involving employees of a leftist company [called Black Fork] committed to “Building Long-Term Progressive Power,” have been popping up all over Ohio.
Earlier this month, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced he had had referred evidence of suspected election law violations to 20 county prosecutors “for review and possible criminal prosecution.” … LaRose is also asking the local prosecutors to investigate allegations of fraudulent voter registration forms like those submitted in Hamilton County.
Black Fork is also under a dark cloud in Cuyahoga County, home to Cleveland, where the local board of elections reported at least 18 suspicious voter registration cards. Cuyahoga County Board of Elections Director Anthony Perlatti told members at a June 21, 2023 meeting that “multiple counties have encountered issues with potential registration cards being submitted from deceased individuals,” according to minutes from a June 21, 2023 Cuyahoga County Board of Elections meeting.
Butler County Prosecuting Attorney Mike Gmoser this week told me that his office has received a referral from the secretary of state.
“It does involve a document with [suspect] signatures and we are seeking the verifications of all the signatures that were harvested and submitted to the Board of Elections,” he said in a phone interview.
Cuyahoga County elections officials asked LaRose’s Public Integrity Division to investigate the suspicious voter registration cards in July 2023. … Election integrity advocates have criticized LaRose for, in their estimation, moving too slowly on the complaints. …
The concerned citizen letter also asks LaRose to take immediate steps “to address the threat of noncitizen registration and voting in the 2024 elections.”
“Ohio’s election eligibility verification procedures permit third-party advocacy groups in the state to register thousands, if not tens of thousands, of ineligible individuals who then become eligible to vote in Ohio elections. The Biden Administration has exacerbated the problem by aiding and abetting the importation of untold numbers of noncitizens … ”
LaRose has taken issue with some of the changes election integrity advocates have sought, insisting that the legislature would have to pass laws to do so. …
“So to the extent that there’s any press watching, voter fraud is real, it does happen. It happens oftentimes in the form of phony registrations all in the same handwriting,” Triantafilou, the Hamilton County Board of Elections members said at the July meeting.
If the government of a state is red or purple, there’s some hope of restoring election integrity, although it depends on the officials and on the state. Otherwise, this stuff goes undetected and/or uncorrected. It’s all very similar to things we heard may have happened in many swing states in the 2020 election. But after that election, courts for the most part said the issue was moot or impossible to prove or disprove.
“courts for the most part said the issue was moot or impossible to prove or disprove.”
In a court of law, guilt must be proven not disproven. It is not up to a judge to act with prosecutorial discretion.
A judge who rules of an alleged crime to be ‘moot’ has given evidence of their own unfitness for the office they hold. That State and Federal legislatures did not impeach and convict said judges is evidence of their own unfitness for the offices they hold.
Geoff:
Right on!
Fraudulent Democrats? Surely not, nay, nay. They deny all such charges, and their denials are allowed to stand.
The solution is to maximize in-person, same-day voting with positive (picture) ID, and to minimize, if not make illegal, all other non-in-person voting schemes (with allowances for absentee voting for military, EMS on duty that day, and such persons as long-haul truckers whose job takes them out of state).
OC, the problem with Election Day voting is it puts the whole election in jeopardy. Arizona did this in 2022. The Sec State, who was a candidate, controlled the election. On Election Day the voting machines in GOP districts all malfunctioned. They were working normally the day before.
Vote fraud has been part of the democracy hating Democrat Party since at least the 2000s.
I kept close tabs on this through the writings — books and articles — of John Fund and Hans von Spakovsky.
Later, a James O’Keefe investigation (during the Trump or late Obama years?) re-affirmed this conclusion for me.
Although a Heritage Foundation project — who supported them, I believe — keeps up with this, what’s the current status?
In Washington state the voter pamphlet that accompanied the primary ballots had a section that explained exactly what happens to your ballot. This was all done to allay fears of cheating.
What the explanation didn’t cover was voter rolls. If there are a lot of dead, moved away, and illegal immigrants on the rolls, the ballot process can be fine, but many fake ballots can be put in the collection boxes. Then it’s up to the integrity of the people handling the ballots to detect the tainted ballots.
The voter rolls are not cleared, and registration is legal on election day.
What could possibly go wrong there? 🙂
The process assumes that all the election officials are absolutely unbiased and honest. Recent events call that assumption into question. We need poll watchers from both parties observing and making sure the ballot counting is on the up and up.
Another issue with mail in ballots is signature verification. The primary was held on August 6th. The election was not counted and certified until August 23rd. The claim was that it took so long because they were trying to make sure all signatures were verified. Okay, but a lot of chicanery can happen in 17 days.
“courts for the most part said the issue was moot or impossible to prove or disprove”.
Innocent until proven guilty is the standard when; “better 10 guilty go free than 1 innocent suffer”.
Applying the standard to elections must mean; “better 10 elections stolen than 1 election decided by strict voter requirements”.
Obviously a bad standard for elections IMO.
TJ- “Vote fraud has been part of the democracy hating Democrat Party since at least the 2000s.”
You misspelled “1800s”.
“You misspelled “1800s”.
🙂
The Powers That Be need to demonstrate that elections are NOT subject to rigging or fraud. Otherwise we will assume they are fraudulent.
Go ahead LeftProgs. Try ruling people who assume you are lying.

And, here I was, feeling confident because OH, where I live, has a strong voter ID requirement.
I think this needs to be addressed by a 3-prong approach:
– No more mailing out of voter ballots, except when specifically asked for
– Legislation that addresses the issue of those on the ballot that haven’t provided identification – REAL ID, Passport plus proof of CURRENT address, or military ID – and deny any future voting for those who have not provided such proof
– And, lastly, ALL election boards must provide verifiable proof that the voter in question has provided proof of both identity AND current residence, AND have mandatory signature verification. Those without a matching signature will not have their mailin ballot opened, or, if an in-person provisional ballot, until a bipartisan committee has verified the physical existence of that person, and their current location (with ID).
Now, all of that is easy enough for those taking advantage of early in-person voting – just bring along your ID and some proof of current address.
It’s going to be an on-going fight – forever. The Devil never rests.
The good news is, many of these, and other reasonable measures to keep the Ba$tard$ from cheating, will be implemented at the state level. At that level, we have significantly more power.
We are present, close enough to influence the state legislature, local officials, and our friends and neighbors.
Below the national level, we really can make a difference.
Unfortunately, we really won’t, in most cases, get any help from the GOP. Too many of them are primarily interested in themselves, electing ‘their’ guy, and grifting off the government troughs.
If a determined group can organize a mini-coup of the GOP leadership structure, and bring in those interests in working for the average guy, they should make the effort.
But, usually, a decentralized, loosely affiliated group will have more effect. We should be political guerrillas, working independently, and affiliating ONLY for our own interest. We need to fund ourselves; and keep it all lean financially.
One of the ways of managing to take control is to focus on electing state legislators. It’s designed to be a part-time job, so is ideally suited for those who have other income, whether those working the gig economy, supported by family or a spouse, or having retired. The number of votes needed to be elected is laughably few, and, accompanied by a vigorous effort to both register and to visit those who don’t actively participate (some of them will be those disenchanted with the political system), as well as organizing GOTV efforts, may suffice to win.
Very well stated, Linda.
“If the government of a state is red or purple, there’s some hope of restoring election integrity, although it depends on the officials and on the state.”
~
I will just expand on that by adding that your time window to restore integrity is small. Colorado used to be a purple state. I would be surprised to see another Republican Governor in the next 20 years.
Well said, Linda.
I am reminded of our former commenter “I am Spartacus” and hope he is still hard at work on election matters.
@ Dan > ” I would be surprised to see another Republican Governor in the next 20 years.”
If other cities in the Denver Metro keep getting mugged by reality, it may happen sooner than that — IF we can reduce the margin of fraud as Linda details.

This is a long, but very good post on substack regarding election tampering and the effort to minimize it. The author names specific groups that are putting up huge sums of money and manpower, plus computer programs, to inflate the voter rolls.
I regret to say I don’t know how to embed URLs, and I don’t know if this will come through. If you want to search on Substack, it’s by Elizabeth Nickson and it’s called “the 2024 cheat and what’s being done.”
I recommend it highly.
No, it didn’t post. Will this?

Looks like it did. Enjoy!
