Cori Bush defeated
Yesterday Cori Bush of Missouri was primaried out of her House seat, although she doesn’t actually leave till January. Her Democrat opponent was St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell. Bush’s district is a heavily Democratic area, and so the winner of the primary is effectively the winner of the seat. But her replacement, although a Democrat who will almost undoubtedly vote as Bush would have on virtually every single bill, is unlikely to be spreading the Jew-hating Israel-hating propaganda that Bush favors.
What happened to Bush was almost exactly what had already happened to Jamal Bowman. They’re breaking up that old Squad of mine – at least a little bit.
But Bush issued a warning:
“All you did was take some of the strings off,” she declared, saying “Let’s be clear” several times. “All they did was radicalize me, so now they (unintelligible) afraid. …
“They about to see this other Cori, this other side,” she said. “AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down!” she screamed.
AIPAC is a pro-Israel lobbying group and PAC that was one of the organizations contributing money to Bush’s challenger.
As for the rest of the Squad, however, the telegenic AOC survived her primary challenger in June. Ilhan Omar faces a challenger in her primary next week; she looks to be way ahead although it was close last time. How about Jayapal of Washington? A landslide win over the other contenders. And Rashida Tlaib of Michigan didn’t even have a Democrat challenger, just a couple of Republicans in a district that includes Dearborn and part of Detroit and is overwhelmingly Democrat (favoring Biden over Trump by 50 percent in 2020).
Interesting choice of words. In modern parlance the term “radicalize” is often used when talking about a person becoming a violent terrorist. As in a misanthrope being “radicalized” into committing terrism by a nefarious group. Not that I expect a portly middle aged lady to machine gun a synagogue or whatever.
One, I mean Two, is better than none.
Is she on the FBI watch list? Ha Ha Ha
So she wants things to go ‘kinetic’, does she? Don’t think she would enjoy things much when that kicks off.
Ok. We have politicians that are devout enemies of this country. Supported by voters who are devout enemies of this country. This has been Communism’s and Islams plan since forever. People who do not want to see will not. People who do not want to hear will not. While the average American does not knows the issues and much less cares, they proceed with their plan.
You look at the work history of the Squad and you realize that most of this crew has no business being in Congress. This dame was obnoxious enough and stupid enough to persuade a critical mass of her constituents to stop tolerating her.

On Ilhan Omar, recall that she represents a white-majority district and that one of her primary opponents over the years was a black lawyer with an orderly family life who presented himself as a common-and-garden Democrat; I think he won about 40% of the vote. Democratic voters are motivated by the joys of vandalism.
In some cases, like Bush and Bowman, and from 2022 Nina Turner in Ohio, there was a significant Jewish population in their districts. This isn’t a case of “filthy Zionist money” but simply that at the primary election level these ghouls cannot convince Jewish voters to volunteer for their own murder.
Also, what up with dropping “are” after “they”. Did the grammar change when I wasn’t looking?
