All hail Kamala the Great! — 63 Comments

  1. I’ve been excitedly awaiting the school-of-fish pivot on a dime to Kamala Harris, The Voice Of The People!

To your point #2, I venture a guess that certain voices on the right will find themselves with newly-amplified voices and access to funding streams.

  2. So has “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics” been working for Biden this election cycle? Will it go on working for Harris? Possibly, but it seems like the esprit de corps this year is much less than it was in 2024. Yeah, yeah, yeah, save “Our Democracy,” but is the energy still there?

  3. A matchup of polar opposites: One is as anti-Israel as it gets, the other as pro-Israel as it gets – the starkest contrast in history.

  4. Step 3 involves choosing a more moderate running mate in order to preserve the fiction that Kamala will not govern from the far left.
    _______
That’s what they’ll say. That is, anyone she picks will be deemed “moderate” by the presstitutes. They’d say that about AOC.

  5. If Kamala Cackling Harris had been pushed aside, there perhaps would have been an uproar within certain circles of that party, but it would have been temporary and would have been a tempest within a teapot.
Once a new nominee had been appointed all the Dems, as usual would have circled the wagons and supported the new nominee.
Dem voters, if given the choice between a walking talking living republican and a democrat that is an honest to goodness cadaver, will always vote for the cadaver.

Think about it; it’s now common knowledge that democrat insiders – this includes Kama Cackling Harris – have been lying to everybody for several years now in regards to Joke Bidet’s diminished mental acuity.
But so what; the Dems have all joined the Cackler’s caravan and her lies have all been conveniently forgotten.

When the ultimate goal is power, the ends justifies the means.

  6. Front Page Magazine has a backgrounder on Harris, scary as hell:

    https://www.frontpagemag.com/who-is-kamala-harris/

They’ve taken some of the info from a Rumble video I saw referenced by a commenter there yesterday, by one Trevor Loudon. With the caveat that I don’t know anything about him, but with at least the endorsement of FP, I recommend watching it as somehow more sobering than text:

    https://rumble.com/vdpgtz-dyed-in-red.html

I haven’t read about her record as a prosecutor in CA, but would be vary careful echoing the “she locked up black men!” angle based on the FP summary. Also careful about the “she’s just there because she slept with Willy Brown.” If you believe any of this information, there is far more to her background than that.

  7. Willy brown as much as admitted it he helped her defeat hallinan who became a novelist trevor is a real thorough researcher

  8. I expect Kamala may have a brief honeymoon period as voters may have forgotten why it was exactly that she dropped out of the 2020 race before the primaries started. She has been close to invisible as VP after her interviews and speeches have been so thoroughly mocked. The more she speaks the more she will remind people of why they never liked her before.

She possesses an interesting combination of ambition, incompetence and laziness. She seems unable or unwilling to do the basic work to prepare for interviews or speeches and seems to think that she can just make it up as she goes along. She doesn’t have the intelligence to pull this off, resulting in the nonsensical word salads for which she is so well known.

Given our corrupt election system maybe this most unqualified DEI candidate can manage to win anyway. If so I guess we deserve what we get.

  9. With Harris’s anti-Israel credentials attracting the far left, and Bobby Jr siphoning the pro-Israel vote, a Reuters/Ipsos poll has Harris leading Trump 44% to 42%.

  10. The press will go to the bat for an stupid corrupt hack stop the presses

    ————–

The staffs composed of all black women tabulating the sacks of ballots in the key cities of Philadelphia, Detroit, and Milwaukee will likely be more eager to “fortify” the totals in PA, MI, and WI for Harris than for some old white guy, so yeah.

  12. “Kamala Harris was markedly unpopular also and has remained so.”

Indeed. Which is why all the propagandistic re-inventing of Kamala is doomed. Will the dems dare to have her debate Trump? If not, Trump can accuse her of political cowardice. That alone disqualifies her, as if she can’t deal with Trump, how can she be expected to deal with Putin, Xi and Iran?

    Republicans threaten women’s “reproductive rights”

Trump has neatly neutered that talking point.

“choosing a more moderate running mate in order to preserve the fiction that Kamala will not govern from the far left.”

Possibly but what ‘moderate’ democrat with national name recognition do the dems have that will appeal to independents?

  13. If after the last 10 monthes they cant figure out whose on the side of the jews i cant help them

Of course she bailed out the rioters that destroyed everything from seattle to atlanta
    What is this groundhog day

  14. On the Democrat racial identity thing.

Harris’ mother is from India and her father is Jamaican, and there are old videos of her identifying not as Black, but as a South Indian.

I wonder if anyone in the black community will try to take her black card away from her?

  15. Why is so called blm a thing anymore more to the point why are they not in jail for embezzlement a rhetorical question.

Of course the kellogg foundation which was an eabler of same is based in berkeley if memory ser es

  16. The majority of educated white women in blue states with big electoral clout will vote Dem no matter what or who, and in numbers that may prove decisive.

    Convince me I’m wrong. Please.

  17. She’s a ‘ho who got where she was by first (obscenity deleted) a powerful male, secondly on account of her possession of a uterus and a dark-brown year round tan (and so was the flav of the month when it came to picking her for VP). She has nothing else to recommend her, except perhaps paying a bomb to oppo research to find stuff to throw at any political opponent.
Prediction – she will find something damaging to throw at Vance. But since he has already put his life out there in a best-selling memoir … maybe it won’t stick.

Ages ago, I was active in a local medium-sized city Tea Party chapter. One of our members, who was a corporate executive and a trained lawyer, warned us other board members about oppo research. I’d already put my life out there on the original mil-blog and in a memoir cobbled together from those various posts. So, I giggled, and told him that at the very least, I’d get some book sales out of it.

  18. The majority of educated white women in blue states with big electoral clout will vote Dem no matter what or who, and in numbers that may prove decisive.

    Convince me I’m wrong. Please.

All I’ve got is the decisive thing. Can’t believe they turn out any more than they did for Hillary in 2016.

  19. We can’t help ourselves. We so want to discuss the merits of A vs. B and then reach a rational conclusion.

What we should be discussing and investigating and creating antibodies for is “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics”. NH R’s can not even stop 6,000 out of state students from voting here; they are clearly useless against the above “organization”.

That capacity to steal along with the mind numbingly high number of folks who will “vote Dem no matter what…” is where the answer lies.

  20. They better gin up an emergency excuse to keep her out of the public eye during the campaign.

If decades in the public forum have not schooled her in adult level behavior while in front of a microphone or camera, I doubt that a miracle will happen in the 3 months.

Even if she does not go off on a rhetorical tour of the absurd, her gestures and body language are cringe worthy; as in childish.

Some knowledgeable folks have said that the GOP should stay clear of attacking her historical path to political prominence. I suspect that most honest women would bridle at her tactics.

Abortion has always been a minefield. It has become a knee jerk issue, with no rational thought; and that is what the Democrats have. Sadly. If people were willing to listen, and think rationally, Dr Ben Carson’s voice would be pivotal. I doubt that there are many who know better than he, what is going on pre-birth; and what is being destroyed by unrestricted late term abortions. A fanciful thought. Not listening.

If that purely emotional issue can drive the the country to elect another incompetent, then the country deserves the long term effects. You only get so many chances to correct mistakes.

  21. Kamala wants to be the candidate unmoored from her past, “unburdened by what has been,” for example:

    Cover-ups
    Deception
    Lies
    Incompetence
    Ignorance
    Refusal to do her job

Who wouldn’t want to erase the burdens of a past like this?

  22. And they take the sacrifices to the temple for St. Kamala now resides there!

  23. Irish Otter,

You’re absolutely right as to your premise. As to your conclusion: we will see.

Harris is a midwit and an airhead. All of her political ‘achievements’ are due to her connections and her diversity status. Were she a white male, she would never have advanced beyond a small tow city council (if that).

Harris primarily appeals to the ‘Oprah Class’. College educated middle, upper middle and upper class women over 40; disproportionately white, in deep blue metro areas. While this group votes overwhelmingly Democrat no matter what, Harris will inspire and motivate them more than Brandon, for sure. She will also generate a higher turnout among blacks (especially black woman) than Biden. Conversely, she has little appeal with blue collar whites, who still are an important voting block in the Rust Belt. Only time will tell how this all balances out

  24. Convince me I’m wrong. Please.

    IrishOtter49:

If you insist, mon ami. 🙂

A few weeks ago you were convinced that Biden would be the nominee and, no matter what, he would be dragged across the finish line by hook or by crook for a second term.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think 2024 is 2020, 2022 or even 2023. Things change and things have changed. I see much promising change happening.

After all the lawfare they threw at Trump, his polls just kept getting stronger. Americans figured it out. Even the judicial system came through in all but the weak Bragg case, which will be appealed.

The constant Democrat lying about Biden’s health and Bidenomics has been exposed in spades. Americans know those lies now as well.

Compare the current state of the Republican Party vs the Democrats. Damn, I’m excited, optimistic, as well as fearful, right now.

Which doesn’t mean It’s Morning in America, no worries, so let’s break out the mimosas. But it’s not Richard II time either:

  25. Interesting fact. According to the WSJ, Kamala’s unfavorability rating with Seniors is 61% (!). Biden was oddly popular with seniors. Which means, whatever incremental slice of support she picks up from black women over Biden, she will lose from senior citizens.

  26. None of the incessant, fawning, gushing encomiums of Harris over the last two days should in any way surprise us. We knew as soon as Brandon was kicked to the curb the MSM would resume their role as the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. But fawn and gush as much as the want, they cannot change reality: Harris is an airhead and a lightweight, who would never have accomplished 90% of what she has were it not for her connections and her diversity points.

We saw this on full display during her disastrous Presidential bid. We have seen it repeatedly during her Vice Presidency, when even simple, ceremonial and ‘puff’ duties caused her to descend into cackles and word salad.

Democrats are in a dopamine rush right now. The relief from Biden finally giving in, combined with the excitement of their ‘DEI Presumptive Nominee’, is certainly making them giddy. Between that, and the MSM fawning, I’m sure Harris will get a bump in the polls.

But none of the above will last. Because, to repeat, Harris is an airhead and a lightweight. Most everyone (including many Democrats) were well aware of this up until a few weeks ago. Once she’s been in the full spotlight for a month or two, her vapid, embarrassingly unprepared persona will again be on full display.

Ultimately, Trump is still likely going to win, although probably by a smaller margin than against Brandon

  27. If Kamala is installed as President, the Éminence Grise will continue to govern as it has since 2021. The guy who used to play the President on television has been written out of the script, and they have recast the role, but the script remains the same.

  28. Re: Kamala

We’re not home and dry. Bob’s not our uncle either. Kamala will get a bounce, a makeover and a honeymoon. This could still get tricky.

    However, I agree with Ackler:

One theory I’ve encountered is that the Powers That Be are backing Harris now because it’s the easiest thing to do and if she flames out, they still have time to wheel out someone else.

That’s the way Democracy works, I guess.

  29. Kamala is beatable, so Trump/Vance dodged a bullet.

Susan @ 7:52 pm has made sense out of Kamala’s mantra, “unburdened by what has been!”

  30. Glen Greenwald thinks she’s just a DNC tool to be re-packaged as the shiny new thing.
Can the DNC pull it off? Tulsi Gabbard shredded Kamala in 2020. I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot of her over the coming months.

  31. It’s hard to be optimistic knowing how corrupt our institutions have become but if you had told me six months ago that all the lawfare against Trump would fall apart; that Biden would perform so badly in a debate that he would be forced to suspend his campaign; that Trump would heroically survive an assassination attempt while simultaneously creating one of the most iconic images in American political history; and that the Democrats would put all their eggs in cackling Kamala’s basket; I simply would not have believed that Trump could be so fortunate.

  32. I’ve despised Joe Biden since the 80’s, this may be an East Coast thing. But he was certainly charismatic, as creepy as it was. Kamala has none of that natural attraction, she seems to repel people who want to help and support her.

  33. huxley,

Well said, lad. BTW. I’m delighted to have been wrong about Biden. Sometimes it’s good to be wrong.

  34. To be there, they WERE going to drag him across the finish line…until he became undraggable…

  35. The MFM is already doing for Kamala what she did for Willie Brown. Here are a few stories from Wednesday’s WSJ:

“What Would a Harris Presidency Mean for the Economy?
Vice President Kamala Harris puts a focus on workers and the middle class as she launches her White House bid.”

“Harris Casts Trump as ‘Focused on the Past’ in Energetic Campaign Debut”

“How Harris Locked Up the Nomination in 48 Hours
The vice president moved quickly after President Biden’s exit to sew up delegates’ support,” (as if it were her doing lol)

The irony is that the reason they covered up Biden’s dementia for so long was because they had no faith in Harris. But they got the bat signal from Obama (or whoever is calling these shots) so they turn on a dime. Pravda-worthy.

  36. “…But ultimately it became clear that Joe couldn’t win in 2024…”

Um, no, Joe would have won…but the OPTICS would have been untenable.

    So,

    Had to,

  38. ‘Absolutely Not’: Kamala Harris Isn’t Ready For Prime Time On The Global Stage, Experts Say

“Kamala Harris was a foreign policy and national security novice in 2021 and still is, even after a concerted effort to beef up her credentials on the international stage”

They propped up Biden for four years so they can do the same for her – IF she can keep her mouth shut…NOT!

I agree w/ some of the commenters here who say that she isn’t going to be able to change her habits of giggling, incredibly noticeable “Word Salads,” nastiness to subordinates (sorta like Trump on that one, but possibly even worse), etcetera. Basically her political modus operandi.

Let ‘em shoot their wads now and then see how quickly they can reload…

  39. ‘Black America Is Not Supporting Kamala Harris’: Fmr Dem Slams Democratic Party For Playing Up Vice President’s ‘Race’

This is the woman who spoke at the GOP convention about DA Bragg “releasing the “homicidal maniacs” who killed her son.” When she speaks – people listen.

“It is absolutely the most silliest thing that they could possibly do. Because most African-Americans know that the illegals benefit card is worth more than our worthless black card. So why would we care about who Kamala Harris is, her race or her gender,” Brame said. “We care about the policies that she has pushed with Joe Biden for the past three and a half years. We are struggling. We can’t even make ends meet.”
“You talked about retirement earlier. I have to work until I’m 70 years old in order to get my full retirement. So, you know, no black America is not supporting Kamala Harris, alright? Her color has nothing to do with the failed policies that she has championed and stood on for three and a half years,” Brame said.

Trevor Laudon was a guest speaker at a luncheon I attended 2018 or so. He said then that leftist forces would make Harris President! He is very well versed on Steven Phillips and his radical roots. Loudon is from New Zealand.

  43. The media sees Kamala as a welcome opportunity to resume lying to the American people, after a brief interlude where the Democrats ordered them to tell the truth about Joe. It was a horrible, disgusting experience for them!

  44. Hello and thanks to Brian E. on July 23, 9:51 p.m. :

One might also contrast Harris’s desire to be “unburdened” by the past with JFK’s inaugural warning that the U.S. would “bear any burden” in the pursuit of liberty.

Per your observation that Tulsi Gabbard shredded Kamala in the 2020 primary debates (excellent work by Tulsi), did you notice how Kamala remained mute? She has likely gotten better at defending herself, but if she can’t think on her feet (strange for a prosecutor), it is going to be difficult for her.

  45. Harris was the one, who as CA AG, decided that microstamping would be required on semiauto handguns. This resulted in no new semiauto handguns in CA starting in 2013 until basically this year (due to court cases and CA deciding to take a loss on that particular restriction).

CA passed a microstamping law, but since no available handguns featured that they put implementation on hold pending the development of that technology. Harris as AG decided that aspect of the law would go into effect.

The result was a decade where no one in CA (except LEOs) could buy new semiauto handguns.

Thanks to Trump judges, with the Bruin decision (building on Heller and McDonald), and recent court challenges based on those, microstamping was removed as a requirement.
