Biden to Israel: I’ll tell you where the Nazis are hiding if you promise not to hurt them — 26 Comments

1. Hard to believe, but the Democrats may be actually screwing themselves more than the Republicans are doing it to themselves. A first? 😉 Backlash to Biden’s Israel backstabbing grows

Not only would this prevent the Biden administration from using weapons as leverage, it forces Democrats to vote on the issue and make their positions clear: Do you stand by Israel or not?

Recent polls show a clear majority of Americans supporting Israel…

2. The lesson here, which was obvious before this, is that when you clean a house, you must clean it, don’t just do a certain percent of the job. If Israel had utterly destroyed Hamas during the Trump years, everything would be different now. The opinion of the international community of closet Nazis is irrelevant. Most people will never approve of Jews unless they’re dead. Israel’s new motto should be, Just Do It.

3. I expect Brandon to start telling about how he had played a pivotal role assisting the Mossad in the capture of Joseph Mengele (one that got away). Much like his help regarding Yahya Sinwar.

4. Surprising and disappointing that USA would have more info than Israel regarding where the tunnels are.

“NOTE: I’m having trouble finding it right now, but I also read a report that the Biden administration is helping to organize and fund the anti-Netanyahu contingent in Israel. If true, it wouldn’t be the first time; the Obama administration used taxpayer money to interfere against Netanyahu in Israeli elections.”

Yesterday, this was published by “The Gatestone Institute,” and that’s where I first read it.

“Meanwhile in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, where anti-government demonstrations began again, one of their leaders, Ami Dror, revealed on social media that the demonstrations and riots are part of a plan by the Biden administration to bring down the Netanyahu government…. The US State Department has, for more than a year, been providing financial support for protests hostile to the Netanyahu government.”

6. I don’t know about right now, but IIRC our government was providing support to the side opposed to Netanyahu’s proposed changes to the Israeli high court. And I’ll add that while I didn’t agree with all of Netanyahu’s proposed changes, (and he did remove some of his proposals), the Israeli high court operates with privileges that would never be permitted anywhere else.

7. From what I’ve read about the Israeli High Court, right wing Israelis claim it’s woke and makes decisions based on (leftist) politics. This is why judicial reform was needed and why Israeli leftists and the O’Biden administration caused chaos to undermine what the Israeli people voted for, more law and order.

8. Do we wait for the election? I suppose we should. And given that the GOP will not/or is powerless to do anything, at what point do the people who care say enough of this traitorous government?

9. fullmoon:

I don’t think we do have more info on it than Israel does.

And if we do, I think it’s because we are somewhat in cahoots with Hamas and/or other Palestinian or Arab sources such as Qatar.

10. “Surprising and disappointing that USA would have more info than Israel regarding where the tunnels are.”
I agree. Maybe not that surprising. There seems to be a strong component of Biden’s advisors who are dedicated to helping Hamas and they probably are in contact with Sinwar. In fact Biden’s advisors seem to be determined to even the score and arm Israel’s enemies, just to make things more fair. That’s the philosophy.

11. Well i use a little logic the head company operator mcfadden (sic) is firmly on the palestinian side so is burns by any indication so is smithers blinken or sullivan the munsch painting guy

12. Physicsguy

Honestly, do you see anyone doing anything? Doing what? I think that’s laughable.

neo:

Great title! You’ve got game.

14. }}} Biden’s previous foreign policy experience was, however, at being wrong.

Well, I guess this makes Taylor Swift’s highly vocal support of him rather ironic, given that all her songs are about her picking the wrong guy.

😀

15. CTP-ISW has been reporting growing numbers of “Palestinian militias, including Hamas” attacks against Israeli forces throughout Gaza. Demonstrating, even in the North, “that these militias remain combat effective and retain a significant force”.

Knew it would take time, and hopefully Trump gets elected. Israel moves back into an area, conducts clearing operations in “targeted raids.” Hamas moves away before too many are killed, and then comes back in.

A tough fight…

16. From RCCA:”There seems to be a strong component of Biden’s advisors who are dedicated to helping Hamas and they probably are in contact with Sinwar”
I would agree. And don’t forget the Biden admin’s quick move to continue funding UNWRA, despite their participation &/or support in Oct. 7 atrocities.

17. Let’s see what the possibilities are here. My leading one is that the so-called intelligence is pretty much worthless, and that this is just an attempt at teasing Israel into sparing Hamas while getting little in return.

But another possibility is that the administration has actionable intelligence it’s been holding back on in order to coerce Israel/Netanyahu into letting Hamas live to fight another day….

Still another possibility—indicated by “Biden”‘s dangling of those supposed carrots about Hamas to Israel—have been already noted by:
– Neo @ May 13, 5:56 pm
– Miguel @ May 13, 6:15 pm
– Marlene @ May 14, 12:26 am

Did I say “possibility”?
Make that “REALITY”.

Thus…the so-called IMPOSSIBLE has happened…
WAIT A SEC: didn’t we already see this “so-called IMPOSSIBLE”—happen during Obama’s (official) reign?

What is actually UNBELIEVABLE is that any Israel-supporting—or US-supporting, for that matter—Liberal could have assumed that Decent Joe Biden would behave any differently than Obama (or that Obama wouldn’t have any influence on Biden…or that Obama wouldn’t BE “Biden”).

IOW, all this should have been EXPECTED.
(It was all just a matter of time.)

Coda: ALL OF WHICH would indicate—since I would NOT put anything past “Biden” was part of the planning for Oct. 7.
WHAT!! OUTRAGEOUS.
Too outrageous for “Biden” even to deny…?
Whatever.
Thus we’ll have to believe “Biden”‘s implicit denial just as we “had to” believe “his”—most peculiarly explicit—denial…that Iran had anything to do with the savagery and butchery on October 7….

18. Oops. Should be:
“Coda: ALL OF WHICH would indicate—since I would NOT put anything past “Biden”—THAT “HE” was in on the planning of Oct. 7.”

(The point is that at this stage of the game, NOTHING that “Biden” might say WRT “plausible deniability” CAN, or SHOULD, BE BELIEVED.)

19. From Miguel’s 6:31 pm link to Lee Smith’s “X” post.

If Dennis Ross (AKA “Biden”) believes that “Israel needs an answer” (to who might replace Hamas should it be eradicated), why can’t Netanyahu simply tell him, “Well, hey, why not the Taliban?…”

Speaking of plausible deniability…

Aaaannnnd, y’all will be real glad to know that we can now breathe a whole lot easier!

No, not hate speech.
Merely extermination speech.

(I sure hope the Democrats will keep this up!)

20. BTW, that link about Obama interfering with Israel’s elections with taxpayer money is blocked by all the browsers I have.

21. dennis is sincere, in his efforts to miss the point, which lee smith kindly corrects him,

but there is a larger point, the Taliban is nothing new to Pakistan, like dragon teeth they have risen once a generation, against the Elphinstone expedition, in Buner in Malakand later with the Fakir of Waziristan in the Great War, and they hunted him for nearly a quarter century, and died quietly in his bed,

interestingly Paul Scott of the Quartet series spent his war in the Western Punjab, yet all his reference points are to the Eastern corner in what would become Bengal territory, Pankot who Speilberg borrowed for his grand guignol sequel, Rampur and Mayapore,
