Schumer’s call for new elections in Israel to get rid of Netnyahu … — 25 Comments

  1. I don’t suppose that it should come as a surprise that Schumer, a man with a history of despicable behavior, would behave despicably.

I probably don’t know enough about Netanyahu. I do know that he is a rather controversial figure in Israel, except when they desperately need strong and implacable leadership. I know that the likes of Obama, Biden, and Schumer can not stand him. I presume that is primarily because he is strong and implacable. So, based on what I know, I admire him.

I just took delivery of a pair of flags; an American flag meant to fly above an Israeli flag. It will be interesting to see what, if any, push back I receive.

  2. Can’t resist another relevant WSJ editorial:

    A few select long quotes:

When Joe Biden and officials in his administration talk about the Israelis and the Palestinians, they describe two peoples that don’t exist in reality. According to the White House, the Palestinians aspire to peace, reject Hamas and are ready to make painful concessions.

The Israeli people as the White House envisions them are also different from the real thing. Vice President Kamala Harris this week uttered a statement about Israel of the kind typically reserved for dictatorships: “It’s important for us to distinguish or at least not conflate the Israeli government with the Israeli people.”

It’s time the administration recognizes reality: The Palestinians overwhelmingly support the murder of Jews, and the Israelis don’t think the Palestinians deserve a state.

Understand I’ve randomly pasted select paragraphs.

  3. Dennis Ross, who was involved in Clinton’s attempt at a two state solution, wrote an op-ed in the LA Times that this was the best chance of a Palestinian state that would ever occur. He wrote that there were investors ready to pour billions into it. Yet Arafat, an Egyptian, walked away and called for another intifada. I think Clinton was hoping for a Nobel Peace Prize (which Obama got for nothing) and had put enormous pressure on the Israelis. All he accomplished was a return of Netanyahu.

  4. Neo, that’s one your best, and the best takedown of the disgusting Democrats I’ve ever read. Too bad your essay won’t see wide distribution. To see them give aid to Iran and work to interfere with the internal politics of an ally, is to me a new low, even for them.

  5. That was chamberlains tongue in cheek

Well its not pouncing so there is that

  6. Schumer reminds me of the antagonist Dathan* in the movie The 10 Commandments. Not of course in looks but in his self-serving willingness to embrace evil.

  7. Robert Gates observation that Joe Biden had never been right about foreign policy issues is on display.
His ME policy makes no sense, none.

The disaster In Haiti was predictable and yet the Biden State Department is refusing to help Americans get out? Citizens trapped there are “on their own.”

And it’s not just foreign policy. Military preparedness, government spending, energy policy, and worst of all, border policy are all disaster areas.

Considering how bad things are, how can Biden be polling anywhere near Trump?

  8. …To end the war in Israel-

Schumer wants Israel to make [a two-state solution], + for Israel to: [divide up its land, + give some of its land to, “the government of Palestine”. ]

    Hm…

So, to end in the war in Ukraine, why doesn’t Schumer demand that-

UKRAINE make a [“two-state solution” with Russia], and for: UKRAINE to: [divide up its land], + give some of its land to, “the government of Russia”?

  9. Next step for Schumer: wearing a bloody hand lapel pin à la Eilish, Ruffalo, et al, at the Oscars.

For whom doth the bell toll, Chuckie? Not for thee yet eh?

  10. Sigh. I wish there was equal interest in and condemnation of Shumer’s anti-American activities. He has been a pox on our country for his entire national political career. His interests lie with the globalist cabal who seek to dismantle America and place its residents under their control. Unfortunately, he got where he is in no small part due to support from his ethnic coevals, who only saw that he was a Jew and reflexively sided with him. It is gratifying to see that he is being rejected by many in that same group, even if it is because of his anti-Israel, rather than anti-American opinions and actions.

  11. My nephew is a Schumer’s close aide. Oversees PR and fund-raising for the senator. Schumer attended his wedding reception at which I was also present. But I left before Schumer arrived. Also I don’t talk to my nephew anymore. He’s a nice kid but, c’mon, we have no common ground anymore.

  12. God forbid that any demok-rats in congress call for Hamas to immediately surrender, which would immediately end the fighting.

If Shumer’s remarks don’t want to make you want to vomit, check out on youtube how the democrats repeatedly lie and misrepresent Robert Hur’s testimony before a congressional committee describing his account of Biden’s stealing classified documents.
Hur repeatedly states he did NOT exonerate Biden, but the democrats repeatedly claim he did; and Hur is sitting right in front of them as they lie, forcing Hur to repeatedly keep correcting them.

The demonkrats are disgusting, lying, pieces of snake excrement.

It’s enough to wish for the guillotines to be rolled out and kept busy 24/7 for a few weeks. It’s clear that the demonkrats ONLY goal is the absolute attainment of power.
But don’t fret folks; about 1/2 of the legal voters and 100% of the illegal voters will cast their vote for Joke Bidet.

Maybe it’s time for many of the states to find a way to secede from the union.

  13. All he accomplished was a return of Netanyahu.
    ==
It was another nine years before Netanyahu returned to the prime minister’s chair. Netanyahu during his first run (1996-99) was not an antagonist of the Oslo process, just less accommodating than his predecessors and successor.
    ==
What Arafat did accomplish was pushing the Israel Labor Party over an embankment. From 1920 to 1977 its various iterations were the pre-eminent political party among the Jews in mandatory Palestine and Israel. From 1977 to 2001 it was competitive. After 2001, it bounced downhill in a stepwise fashion and clocked just shy of 4% of the vote in 2022. Ehud Barak made an attempt after a seven year hiatus to re-enter the Knesset in 2019, which failed.

  14. Banded lizard:

A bloody hand lapel pin, huh? Maybe Trump should start wearing a lapel pin showing a bloody vulva reminiscent of what Hamas did to the kibbutzim on October 7.

Please excuse the unpleasant visual, but we should recall that thousands of women did not find it unpleasant to wear pink knitted caps that were supposed to invoke a vulva, so it is not as if he — or I — is the first to come up with the unsavory image.
